It came with 3 huge balls but got sick of it. It would be a great complement to a main dish. The ravioli with herb stuffing was good but kinda rich. The best dish was the steak that came with grilled corn on cob (herb butter) and shrimp. The beef was tender and buttery. Do not get the pizza on kids menu ( looked dry like frozen). The desserts we got was the curd and blueberries. Also the apricot balls with some kind of cookie crumb coating that came with delicious ice cream. Overall, good local food at a reasonable price. The waitresses were friendly. They even have candies at the entrance

On one side a terrace overlooks the mighty Wilder Kaiser and the other a lawn shaded by old trees. Inside the decor is Austrian country house and the guests likely to be smart. The food - all local produce - will be imaginatively prepared in Austrian nouvelle style, but try and hold on for the sensational puddings - particularly the lovely heidelbeern (known locally as moosbeern and to me as myrtille)- pudding - but you'll have to be there in summer to get it. The local wines are absolutely delicious and although you will find plenty of the now internationally fashionable white Grüner Veltliner, try the red Zweigelt -Johann Topf or others - as well. This is a place for a very long weekend.

A great cafe in Schliersee. We happened to see it on our walk around the lake. Close to the train…read morestation this cafe is located a stones throw from the lake and looks very inviting. Plenty of outdoor seating and lots of space indoors as well. As it was a sunny day it was packed when we arrived but, managed to get outdoor seating in the sun. The view from the cafe is spectacular and it was very nice. They have a nice menu including some good choices for vegetarians. There is a cake counter inside with a huge selection of cakes and they have many Bavarian desserts like Kaiserschmarrn, Milch Reis, Dampfnudl and Rohrnudl and so on. I had the Seelachsfilet with potato salad and it was very good. We shared a Rohrnudl for dessert with vanilla sauce and it was also quite ok. Service was very good and quick. Our waitress was very patient and made some recommendations as well. All in all a great experience and I would happily come back here again. It's good value for money and the food, ambience and service is good. This is also my 1700th review on Yelp. Onto the next 100 ;-))

Told her I didn't eat meat and she served me potatoes with tons of bacon cooked in/around them. Food wasn't good and took over an hour even though they weren't crowded. Have been coming here for decades, but this might have been the final time after this service!

Immer wieder (nicht immer) erlebt man hier pampige, unflexible und äußerst unhöfliche weibliche Bedienungen. So unhöflich, dass es wirklich auffällt. Kann ja einmal vorkommen, aber immer wieder... Ich weiß, dass es heutzutage schwer ist, gutes Personal zu bekommen, aber das ist schon geschäftsschädigend. Schade drum, weil Essen und Location sind gut.
