Village at the Peaks is a far cry from the old Twin Peaks mall that used to stand in the same spot. This new type of open air mall has upscale stores, restaurants, a movie theater, fancy and interactive landscaping and the most important thing is that it has plenty of free parking right out front of the places that you want to shop or eat at. Ive been to alot of these new style malls and most of them have at most a single line of parking spaces or a parking lot waaaaay out in a corner somewhere and you have to walk several blocks to get to the shop or restaurant you came to visit. As far as new age malls go, the Village is starting to become a great place for easy nightlife. Having good access to food and the movie theater mixed with the overall aesthetics of the location has made this a visited spot almost every weekend. I would like to see some more actually shopping locations in the Mall as opposed to only food or specialized services (jewelry, eyecare, party, etc.) The feel of the old style malls with many places of variety for shopping just aren't present. As far as infrastructure the lighting is very well placed and pleasant when outside in the commons areas, and the security presence in the mall is very noticeable. The grounds as a whole are very clean and look well maintained. For Longmont this is one of the good places to go now. read more

The "mall" is okay but MOST people around Longmont (including myself) think of it more like a food court. From breakfast to dinner and everything in between there are just TOO many places to eat and not to shop. There aren't any clothing stores ... well unless you count Sam's Club. read more

Huge disappointment. Whole lot of nothing in my opinion. The bigger stores (Gold's, theater, & Sam's) are good but the little stores are boring, including the food options. To me it's basically the other side of the street but with a landscape upgrade. Such a bummer. read more

This is a fantastic mall with great food and fabulous events! The area inside of the Village area is so much fun for the kids. There is a grassy area for games and a beautiful waterfall and playground. I attended the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony back in December and they really did a great job getting the community out and provided lots of fun events there including an ice park for the kids, a band, food, a photo booth, and face painting. It really was a great time! So happy to see this mall start to get more stores up and running and I can't wait for more stores to come! read more

Longmont,CO replaced the AMC Theaters with Regal Theaters (Village at the Peaks) and now the escort for a handicap person is no longer allowed in for free. The old AMC Theater would allow the escort in for free so that the special needs person can see the movie THEY want to see. Now the special needs person has to spend twice the amount, or the escort has to pay for the movie even if they don't really want to see the movie. Another example of corporate greed trying to squeeze money out of everyone... Even the special needs. Shame on Regal. read more

This review is for the regal movie theater in the Village Peaks mall. The theater is new, clean and the recliner seats are comfortable. The rpx screen is large, it's full screen/wall to wall, great sound-only way to view a movie. Can't wait to visit Longmont again and go to this theater. Only addition I'd recommend is alcoholic beverage service ;) read more

I am at this movie theater almost every week. If you go here you have probably seen me come in with my book bag, LOL. Although I am a huge anti-assigned seat person and that truly does bother me because it screwed up the whole Star Wars experience I am a fan of this movie theater. I enjoy the comfort of the seating with the space it provides between seats (this is a big deal, no one can kick your seat) and the fact that the tickets are a little cheaper during the day. I think the theater is doing a good job keeping the best movies showing even though they have in the past struggled with providing good show times and maybe they need a little more work on this. As a Longmont resident it is great to be able to see a movie in the city without driving to the inconvenient city of Boulder or Flatirons mall. Regal definitely beats AMC hands down. I look forward to seeing more improvements in the future. Thank you Regal for coming to this town and filling that empty void. read more

Colossal boondoggle. What a waste of taxpayers money. Little to no retail shopping, Whole Foods put off opening for a whole year to get away without paying Longmont taxes for year. The movie theatre is good and a couple nearby restaurants are decent to good but that's it. When your anchors are a Golds gym, A liquor store, pet store and a Sams club the only reason to go is for the movies and a dinner or dessert. The old mall was pitiful and needed to be replaced but not with this. So many great local businesses we supported were forced to close due to the higher rents and lackluster customer turn out. We miss Applebee's, 3 Margaritas and it appears Burger King is in dire straits as well. Looks like a bridge to nowhere hustle and the only winner was the construction company and contractors. They got their millions and Longmont got the shaft. . read more
