Not everyone in this season of the COV-19 is willing to go beyond the normal to help someone…read more However, upon my arrival at the, Bordeaux Drug Store in Fayetteville (NC), I couldn't ask for better customer service if I tried. In my attempt to find gloves to protect my hands during the Coronavirus pandemic, I decided to try smaller businesses within the community I live in, rather than stores further away from my home. Thus, my visit to Bordeaux Drug Company. I remember during the hurricane season three years ago, I was able to get all the water I needed from them because of a bottled water shortage in other stores. I thought to myself that I would seek them out again for medical gloves. Not to my surprise, they were able to help me in my dilemma. Unfortunately, the gloves weren't the ones I was looking for (as they were out of a traditional medical glove) but, I was still able to use the ones they offered and carried at the time. With this said, the representative that helped me is, Ms. Jennifer Bass. She was not only kind and concerned about my predicament, but was eager to help me in any way she could. So, she suggested a different kind of glove with the same benefits as the ones I was looking for. She took the gloves out of the box to show me what they looked like to aid in my decision whether or not to purchase them. The gloves I purchased are "Dermatological Cotton Gloves." Per the label on the box, these gloves are notably "comfortable, soft, and sanitary protection for hands." Likewise, the gloves are "100% cotton, hypo-allergenic, hemmed for a neat appearance, and packaged for easy use." The name of the glove is called the "Cara" Dermatological Glove. Needless to say, I purchased two each, a large and an extra-large. If your fingers are long like my sons' figures are, then you will probably need the extra-large though the glove will not fit snug. That's okay, although the glove doesn't fit snug, it isn't so big/loose that you're having to repeatedly adjust the glove (or pull it up) for it to fit. Ms. Bass told me the price of each glove, (which is $2.05) and stated that she could order more for me if I needed it. I told her "yes, I would like to order 4 more pairs of the gloves." As promised by Ms. Bass, someone called me the following day to inform me that the gloves had arrived and are ready for pickup. My suggestion to anyone looking for anything because of the shortage of items on shelves everywhere...let us not forget the smaller local businesses. They are a great source to meet our needs and it will help to keep their businesses thriving (preventing closures) until things are better.

Maybe you'd like a lunch plate and a fountain coke. Good, fast grill service keeps this place packed on weekdays at lunch, and I suspect the grill keeps the pharmacy open. Stop by for a chance at recalling a memory from childhood... and some great food.

Im extremely disappointed with how this Pokemon event was managed by Sam's Club…read more I arrived and waited in line during severe weather and was 53 in line . The store reportedly received only 98 boxes, making it clear that strict adherence to the published rules was essential to ensure fairness for all members. During the event, I personally observed a family accompanied by several minor children who each possessed membership cards and were each issued tickets to purchase boxes. To my understanding, Sam's Club membership requires the primary cardholder to be at least 18 years of age. These children appeared to be of elementary school age, yet they were each permitted to participate in the purchase process. The family ultimately left with more boxes than the stated purchase limits appeared to allow. If Sam's Club establishes eligibility requirements and purchase limits, those rules should be applied consistently and equally to every customer. Selective enforcement undermines the integrity of the process and places members who complied with the rules at an unfair disadvantage.

Sam's Club Pickup & Delivery - Not Reliable…read more Worst service I've experienced with Sam's Club. My delivery order was cancelled last minute. I rescheduled for curbside pickup, and the order was not ready at the scheduled time. After checking in, we waited over an hour with no updates. I called the store multiple times--one call was answered and immediately disconnected, and the rest went unanswered. Member Services routed me through an automated system that redirected me back to the store. After holding for 25 minutes trying to reach support, the system then increased my estimated wait time to 52 minutes--moving backwards instead of forward. When I finally reached a store associate, they said they couldn't help and told me to call Member Services again. There is no ownership between the store and corporate--just a loop with no resolution. If Sam's Club doesn't have the staffing or infrastructure to support curbside and delivery, they shouldn't offer it. At this point, the membership is not worth it--those services are unreliable.
