Luis was very prompt. He came out quickly to give us an estimate. They were cheaper than other bids I got. They showed up the next day promptly on the agreed time to remove the tree. They worked incredibly hard while removing the tree and had it done in an hour. I asked them to leave me a few logs and they neatly stacked up the logs for me. The rest of the logs and branches were either ground into mulch or loaded via a bobcat onto a trailer for haul off. The stump grinding had to wait a few days because it had been raining and it was too damp to grind. As soon as it dried up a little, Luis contacted me and told me I could expect the stump team the next day. The stump team showed up exactly on time and they ground the stump very deep. Luis responded quickly, gave me a very fair estimate, and cut two mature trees the next day. The crew worked fast and efficiently---It was clear they knew what they were doing and understood teamwork. They also were equipped with all the necessary and reliable equipment. One of my trees only needed trimming for safety reasons, and Luis made sure I was happy with the results. In all, the crew, including Luis working along side them, cut one tree to the ground, cut off the annoying stump of another without hurting its new sapling, removed two limbs of a third tree that were hanging over the house, and then cleaned up the all the debris including the fallen leaves and sawdust. Luis and his team did a beautiful job trimming a large Ash tree which had never been trimmed, picked up and planted 3 large crab apple trees, installed a drainage pipe to reroute some water that was flooding a main path, and got a replacement cover for one pipe where it was missing. He actively asks questions on what you may need then offers suggestions along with whether it's something they can do or not. They did not damage any plants in my garden, removed debris, and even cleared out a compost bin I had filled with sticks. All in a day. My yard is so beautiful now. They were all so professional, courteous, helpful, and genuinely nice people. It's so hard nowadays to find nice people you can trust with such important tasks on your property. They are true gems. The storm earlier this weak cracked a large tree branch, which had begun to hang over the neighbor's fence. The owner arrived on time for an estimate to cut down and haul away the branch. He offered to do it for 40% less than another service, and he pointed out another tree with a low hanging branch and offered to include it in the price. He also came prepared with proof of lincensure and insurance. Although he estimated he could do the job the next afternoon at the earliest, he messaged me the next morning and said he could come that day. He and three workers arrived before 9 am and did the job in less than an hour, leaving no mess behind. They were professional, safe, and quick. I would hire them again. read more

Luis and his crew did an amazing job on my trees today! First off, he came exactly when he said he would for the quote. Gave me a fair price. Explained everything that he needed to do to properly prune my two large trees (one oak tree and one tulip tree). Secondly, his crew came back a couple days later on time and did their work and cleaned up within 5 or so hours (they are very big trees) and did a fantastic job! He made sure to answer all my questions and made sure I was happy with everything before leaving. It really made the whole process relatively simple compared to other tree people I have used. I had a large Chanticleer Pear tree in my back yard come down during one of the recent heavy windstorms in our area. Luis came out promply and gave us an estimate for storm damage which was lower than others. I agreed to hire them for the job. I got a later estimate that was lower and I call Luis back to cancel. He agreed to do the job for the lower amount and scheduled it for the following day. He and his crew arrived after the rain stopped and worked very hard to remove the giant fallen tree. I needed a tree trimmed and a couple of the larger branches cut down as they had split after snow storm and were just hanging....I was very pleased with the quality of work as the tree was pruned and shaped well and the cleanup was very nice... also the value for the work was good. Villagran removed a tree from my yard that was damaging the fence between my yard and the house next door. They arrived promptly to provide a quote, and they removed the tree when scheduled.
