My previous doctor treated me like a number, Dr. Soliman is the complete opposite, he actually cares and I'm so thankful that I was able to switch to Dr. Soliman. The clinic is great as well, appointments are always on time, they always answer their phones, and the office handles prior authorizations with urgency. Due to complications -- my baby measuring in the 1st percentile -- I was advised that all imaging and high-risk care would be handled through Dr. Brar's office. From early on, I was repeatedly told they were convinced the issue had to be genetic. We went through more in-depth NIPT testing, and everything came back normal, yet that assumption never seemed to shift or be further investigated. Starting in January 2026, I was seen weekly at Dr. Brar's office. During this time, I rarely saw Dr. Sadjadi and trusted that between both offices, my care was being properly managed. Looking back, that trust feels incredibly misplaced. Despite being seen every single week for a high-risk pregnancy, not once was my blood pressure checked. I was later diagnosed with preeclampsia, with blood pressure reaching 158/102 -- a serious and dangerous condition that should have been caught much earlier with routine monitoring. Instead, it was missed entirely. This ultimately led to an emergency induction and the devastating loss of my baby at 26 weeks. There are no words to fully describe the pain of that loss. What makes it even harder is knowing that something as basic and standard as checking blood pressure -- a fundamental part of prenatal care, especially in high-risk cases -- was completely overlooked during consistent, weekly visits. Follow up with Sadjadi regarding this care left me feeling dismissed and unheard - she would simply tell me "oh honey don't stress" and never addressed my concerns. I feel deeply let down by both Dr. Brar's office and Dr. Sadjadi at Optum. The lack of attention, oversight, and accountability during such a critical time in my life is something I will carry with me forever. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend their care to others.

None of their staff listens to their patient's and they will hold your medications hostage if you don't visit at least 2 times per year. A nurse at their Yucaipa office told me that if I needed my meds in a hurry, that I could visit the urgent care or make an appointment, which was a month out. I did that and not only was I ignored by the entire staff, but that same nurse ignored my call and never called me back. What is a person supposed to do when they're out of their meds? I have had back to back UTI's over the last 5 years and they're just now putting me on an antibiotic that works and they have continuously lied about my UTI results. Their response is always "lose some weight". I tried going to another urgent care closer to my house and they wouldn't take me because they have a contract where they will only accept patients after hours. At this point I have enough evidence to report them to the medical board and I intend on doing it.

There is a lot to complain about regarding the whole Optum care system (previously Beaver)…read more However there are some amazing people working at all of the offices. So any positive experiences are due to individual persons and their work ethic and dedication, but not the company they work for. Physicians have said to me that they are frustrated at how limited they are at being able to care for their patients. It is also very sad and discouraging to see how many good providers have left Optum in the past year. Beaver wasn't perfect, but it offered more choices than Optum.
