I've came to Vina Nails twice within a month where I was told there was a wait, yet others who walked in after me were taken back before I was (they were walk-ins, just as I was). Today, I waited 30 minutes and watched two people go before me. I will not make a third attempt to get my nails done here, I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Had better experience in past but last night was horrible. Had a gel manicure done by lamb chop. He kept talking instead of working on my nails and took 1.5 hours to do the job. He didn't ask me what length i wanted my nails and cut them way too short. I had to remind him to get the UV light when he started to apply the polish (did I really need to tell him that?) On my right thumb he applied so much polish that it ran onto my skin while it was under the light and then he tried to scrape and cut it off with the cuticle trimmers, but still it would not come off. While he was trying to get it off my skin he somehow marred the surface of my nail so now it dried lumpy. And on top of the horrible job they charged $35 which is way overpriced for a gel manicure. In Maryland prices are $10 less. So here we are next day and I still have polish on my skin and a lumpy thumbnail. Really, really not happy. Do yourself a favor and find a different salon. read more

I went to vina nails because of the ratings online, but I had the worst experience. They charged me extra to soak off my gel nails which I've never been charged for that at all and I've been getting my nails done for a long time. I picked out a color and it was out, then the second color I chose was out, and then at that point I just went with whatever. They guy who did my nails did a terrible paint job. There's globs of gel nail stuck under my nail where the guy never cleaned under it and and he didn't even paint my whole nail so it looks like my nails have grown out for over a week. At the end, he rushed putting on the top coat so it was all over my skin around my nails. He also put the utensils he used to take my old gel polish off back in the bag with the other clean utensils as if he wasn't going to clean it and just use it on someone else. I highly doubt he even has his license to do nails professionally. I will not be returning and I wouldn't recommend this place if you're getting gel nails. read more

I have always had a wonderful experience there! They are polite, efficient and never rush you are cut you short - i always receive their undivided attention and am pleased EVERY TIME and I am there once a week. No matter what I go in for they always to a great job! read more

I went to get gels and a pedicure last Tuesday; my gels started peeling two days later; so I went back on that Friday to get a re-do...and, they began peeling again two days later, even with a different color. My pedicure also only lasted three days. The last pedicure I received at another place lasted 3 weeks, and my gels lasted 2 weeks. I will no longer visit this place. :( read more

Rude and not kid friendly at all! My apologies I have 4 girls and we like to get dolled up, not all services just a couple of eye brow arches and manicures and they acted as if we were not paying customers cause they were little busy on a Sunday morning.. Well it is with a heavy heart I write this review. I had been a regular client at this salon and of Lambchop for over 3 years. In that time he missed one appointment, which I overlooked because the work was always amazing. I do major art and Lam is really good and always willing to take on the challenge. Last month I made appointment got there and was told that Lam could not make it, but his wife would do them for me. I was hesitant, but allowed it because I was leaving town and did not have time to find somewhere that could do the Halloween art I wanted. This month I texted with Lam multiple times and scheduled what I thought was an appointment with him. I arrived a few minutes early and picked my colors. Kept asking if they knew where he was and one other employee tried to call him, to no answer. Finally Jenny arrived and when I ask if he was coming in I was informed that she would do my nails. I was upset and told her no, my appointment was with him. She said but I have a text from him telling me to do them. I told her no and that I was done and I left. Shortly after Lam called to attempt to apologize. He kept telling me he had been very busy and could not be there. I get that life is busy and we all have things come up, but in today's technology there is no excuse for this type of treatment. You don't blow-off or just tell someone else to do your client after over 3 years. I hope whatever has made him so busy gets taken care of or he let's other clients know he is no longer doing nails. I felt so disrespected and unappreciated as a client. I am sorry to see this kind of behavior out of any professional. Just be careful if you go here and if you are picky about who does your nails, just be careful. read more

Today, my daughter and I went into Vina Nail Spa in Hermitage, TN. I was to get a new acrylic set, my daughter needed a fill in. The price for the acrylic set is 25 dollars, and you may pay the extra 5 for white tips. Any "french" service is 5 dollars more, and I agreed to pay the extra amount. After my nails were on, they informed me that they were the "solar" nails, which cost 40 a set. I explained that it wasn't what I had requested, and was dissapointed that I had to pay for them. When I went to check out, I found out that they had removed my daughters acrylic nails and given her a new set also, without my permission. They continued to explain to me that the topcoat, that I didn't have a choice on, was gel, so that was another 5 dollars. I had to continually explain to them that they were providing services that I didn't request, and that I was extremely dissappointed. What should have cost 40 dollars before tip, ended up being 85. They took off a small portion of the cost since I didn't want the gel topcoat, but this place is a ripoff. They should be more upfront about pricing. I will never use their services again. The worst part is that these solar nails with a gel topcoat, are really nothing special, and have bubbles and flaws throughout. read more
