Carols was the only one that wanted to do it in person so he could be as detailed and precise with the quote. Gave me a quote Monday and started work on Tuesday. I feel if I had gone with an another person they would not have seen that it needed extra prep work prior to painting and the walls would have had rough spots and lines. Carlos and Carlos Sr. Worked on the project and got it done quickly but correctly. We a super happy with results and cost. We've already got a quote from them for our living room and will be getting that project on the books shortly. Overall very happy customers and can't recommend enough.

Didn't clean up properly (I had to clean their mess-and that was after buying them lunch and $300 in tips). A real contractor would have been here the next day, no matter what, to fix HIS mistake. Our family friends couldn't believe their eyes when they saw how much better the entire house looked. What stood out about Jay's work was that he and/or his crew (Harral) were there every single day from the day the job started till the end. Having worked with laminate flooring myself, I found that odd, not to mention unprofessional. Within a month, i.e., by October 2020, the vinyl plank had snapped like a cracker right by the entry door. I called Mark Mateev, emailed him, texted him - all to no avail. I called the local office of floor coverings international and later called the national office - again, no response. Before hiring Mark, I recall asking about the other review on this site about their poor customer service and he dismissed it saying the parts took a while, but he had fixed their problem. Based on his experience with me, clearly I was had.
