The food and staff were the worst I have ever experienced. I would not recommend the Wagon a box to anyone. we ordered our food after sitting and waiting to have someone acknowledge that we were sitting there, when someone did finally get to our table it was the manager, we ordered our food waited forever to get it also had to ask for water and bread! the manager was rude when she brought us our food it was cold asked for a Togo box left without eating there. This was our second experience the first one was no better food was horrible. WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ONLY TO NOT GO !!!! read more

I have an issue with the service and the food. We were having a family birthday dinner and the server brought out my mother's food well before the rest of us received our food. As a matter of fact my mother was done eating when our food arrived. The server indicated that the cook was not yet skilled enough to put out all entrees at the same time. My other issue is with the food. They have an Italian section on the menu which would indicate they could cook pasta. My meal came with angel hair pasta that was so overcooked it was like eating goo. I will not venture back or recommend this place. read more

Went for Sunday brunch. It's hard to pull off hot food in this fashion. We thought it was good and fresh. Can't wait to try the food hot off the menu. Service was excellent. All were friendly and courteous. It's good to have Italian food in Sheridan. We will be back! read more

The place has a rustic ambiance and the service was OK. But the food was a big disappointment. We drove 140 miles for the buffet and found none of it appealing. The meatballs lacked flavor and sauce, the risotto balls were barely warm and quite mushy, the pasta entrees were about the same as you might find in the freezer case at your grocery store and the dessert tray included Oreo cookies!! Certainly not worth the drive or the expensive price for an Italian buffet. read more

Just wow!! My husband and I celebrated Mother's Day early, and I'm so glad we picked the Wagon Wheel. What a great experience!! It was super busy because they had Dinner and a show going on, but we were just there for dinner. We ended up having the Risotto Balls for an appetizer, and we each had ribeye steaks (with compound butter!) Everything was really good, and I enjoyed a couple of great Manhattans, while my husband had a couple of Roadhouse Lagers. Kristy (sp?) was our server, and Chuck, the General Manager, was helping out all of the customers. We were highly impressed with how busy it was, and what great service we saw happening. We will definitely be going back!! read more

We celebrated our 40th anniversary tonight here. Everything was wonderful from the moment we walked through the door. I was handed a single red rose . We went to the bar since we arrived a little early on one of the busiest nights of the year...Valentine's!! Before we could order a drink we were seated in a nice quiet private area and greeted by our lovely server Ashley. She was great and immediately brought us our drinks. The pour is above average for sure! My husband had the lasagne which was amazing. The sauce and the meat were delicious and very authentic. I had the surf & turf. My lobster was so sweet and filet was cooked to perfection. Then came our desserts. We had the lemon cloud cake so light & fluffy and also the berries & cream. Both were fantastic. We were never rushed and truely enjoyed celebrating our anniversary out for a change. And did I mention Elvis & Marilyn were in the house? It was dinner & a show night tonight. Food is fresh-fresh-fresh! Vincent does his own shopping & prep, & even makes his own mozzarella, so you won't get the can from Sysco you do at so many places! Vincent himself is a talented & passionate chef, doing an amazing job of learning about a locality that has been craving just what he has to offer. You'll see him checking in with diners throughout the evening, in an effort to make every dining experience a fantastic one! First year may need some patience as he develops staff to his precise requirements (we've always found service warm, welcoming, & working hard to make our time there great!). The atmosphere is fantastic. We have been regulars since he first started, & look forward to watching it continue to evolve throughout the summer. My husband and I went to Story Wy to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary. we ate at Vincent's The stuff mushrooms were bread crumbs. I doubt that Vincent was the chef the food was bland to say the least. We had the Shrimp Lemon Marcellathe first night. It was ok. The next night I was seated facing dirty dishes and a door way with a yellow bucket with a mop hanging out of it. The piano player was enjoyable. The Chicken franchisee was advertised falsely. it said thinly sliced chicken breast my husband and I received a thick slice of chicken barely any sauce the potatoes had no seasoning. The vegetable was boiled zucchini and some other squash absolutely tasteless. We traveled from Cody mainly because I had Vincent's food in Cody and it was amazing. I was extremely disappointed to say the least. I was told on Thursday that there would be seafood specials on Friday night the waitress barely talked to us. I asked about specials and she said there were none. I gave it a 2 because of the piano player and the Shrimp Marcella was edible of course with lots of parmesan and red pepper seeds. read more

We used to love going up to the Wagon Box for cold beer and a burger when the temperature in Sheridan got too high. Today was one of those days. We arrived ready for cold beer and great burgers only to be told that the deck was closed for a private party and, OH YEAH, they don't serve lunch anymore. We were told by, Chuck, that you only have your dinner menu because no one was coming for lunch and food was getting wasted so they only offer the dinner menu now. In our opinion they are not serving their local community and are not in touch with their local community. We don't know anyone that wants their heavy dinner menu for lunch. Vincent, we recommend having an invite to your local community of every lunch and dinner menu item. Let them get the word out about your lunch menu instead of your dinner menu being the only thing people know about. Treat them to the menu for each service instead of cutting the rest of us off because the community doesn't know about your lunch menu. read more
