The staff is always super friendly and welcoming (bonus for +21: they hand you a beer while you shop, which just feels very Nashville). It makes the whole experience fun. Most of the time we go in thinking we know exactly which pair we want after stalking the website, but trying them on in person is a must. Sometimes the pair you didn't expect ends up being the one. And my favorite part? The boot branding in store. Such a cool personal touch. Since moving to Nashville almost two years ago, I may or may not have built a small Tecovas collection. No regrets. Just a heads up: because it's right in the middle of Broadway, it gets busy. We've learned to go on weekday evenings. I'd skip summer and weekends unless you're okay with waiting in line. Great boots, great vibe, great people. We'll definitely keep coming back.

Souvenir items are in the front, with the shoes and boots further back from the street. This is a clever way to pull folks in with the knickknacks and then get them into some new boots! What had prior to 2021 been the abandoned Nashville Convention Center is now a modern mixed use development that has brought life into Broadway west of the "Honkey Tonk Highway" stretch. It features a shopping mall, Assembly Food Hall, a retail scape fronting Broadway, The Place at Fifth, the National Museum of African American Music, and the towering landmark 501 Commerce Street Building. It has brought an Apple Store, Sephora, Shake Shack, Hattie B's, Prince's Chicken, and more to Broadway. On my vacation, I had caught it's act several times. The one sight that always stood out was the consistent long line to Hattie B's. My visits here included Assembly Food Hall, Prince's Fried Chicken, the Twelve Thirty Club, visit the Apple Store, and walk around. My impression was that the stores and restaurants are reasonably priced. Although the restaurants and stores provide decent value, to me the greatest value here was the photo opportunities. The focal point of the development, the L-shaped mall which bridges Broadway with Rep. John Lewis Way gives the gift of a prime photo spot for the 1) Ryman Auditorium where the original Grand Ol Opry performed and 2) Bridgestone Arena. The restaurants, especially in the Assembly Hall provide an opportunity to photograph food. I recommend the Assembly Food Hall Bridge to photograp the historic Ryman Auditorium. Additionally , I learned that if I stood on Broadway by the Bridgestone Arena, that Fifth Plus Broadway made a dynamic photo showing modern and historic Broadway, with the modern Fifth Plus Broadway architecture including towers contrasting with the historic Honkey Tonk Highway streetscape. As far as safety, I felt safe. The one annoyance that I saw were street hustlers at the Rep. John Lewis Way entrance aggressively bothering passer-by. During all of my visits here it was busy. There is a safety in numbers. On the subject of safety, the hot and humid summers need to be taken into account. On a few occasions we had escaped the excruciating heat in the air conditioned Assembly Food Hall for a couple of hours. I rate Fifth Plus Broadway "Four Stars." It is doing a remarkable job extending the lively Broadway restaurant and entertainment scene beyond the western edge of the Honkey Tonk Highway.

When I tried to return this, the receipt was somehow lost so they would not take the dress back. Within 7 days, they were evidently unable to pull the purchase from my account. I keep running into issues with the sizing and selection of clothes so haven't been able to find anything that worked to return on previous purchase. The other top I bought for $60 has shrunk after one wash and no longer fits. So many items are way too cropped or transparent. I think the quality here has gone way down. I also purchased a denim skirt with shorts under thinking the shorts would help with the length of the skirt. Because of the return policy, I don't have the option to dispute the transaction from my credit card since I've had to use store credit.

The layout of the store is open, bright and clean. The service is friendly ... Mike is a shoe expert, very knowledgeable. I came in to purchase boots for my wife but after 10 minutes of no help and seeming like I was a bother for wanting to purchase something I left empty handed. Boots are nice but definitely not nice enough to endure such poor customer service. I don't understand their business model as anyone who can afford to shop there expects a minimal level of customer service and will happily spend their money elsewhere. Instead you get a bunch of lazy and snobbish employees who couldn't themselves afford a pair of Lucchese boots yet treat customers beneath them. Based on the number of reviews RE the poor customer service, it seems like a deliberate top down strategy and a serious managerial problem. I would avoid this location at all costs.

I collect vintage Christmas ornaments (old school satin pushpin style), and there is an amazing vendor at the flea who stocks them in spades! I almost don't want to share that as I want to keep that secret to myself so I can get my favorites every time. She is so kind and even let me dig through her back stock for ones not on display yet. Next month is the Christmas flea and y'all know I'll be back! Check it out.

This is the former Eighth Avenue Antique Mall that previously had 40 reviews & 4 stars on Yelp after being open 15 years. Due to a hefty rent increase, operations moved here. This building is spacious & clean. There is plenty of aisle space, & red carts are available for use-- see pics. Currently, not many primitives are available. And vintage glassware is sparce (other than the overproduced Libbey Gold Leaf pattern). Also, vintage jewelry is almost nonexistent, but there's some of everything else, including a booth of musical instruments (often absent from antique malls). I also noticed a few booths of vinyl (albums) & vintage clothing (in very good condition). There are two dressing rooms to the right of the front checkout area. I posted 52 PICS of this new business. Post covid restrictions, all small businesses need a boost! There is no usual discount here as w/ most Florida antique shops (20% off anything $25+, if requested); HOWEVER, I was told by staff that a discount may be requested & will be considered. I was given a 10% discount on the Duncan Phyfe-style pedestal table I brought home for $75 (prior to the discount). A friendly young man walked the table out to my vehicle. Sales ladies Wendy & Pam offered up true Southern charm-- two friendly, helpful, lovely ladies. If you're a connoisseur of mid-century artifacts, at the current time this antique store is especially for you.
