My husband and I have definitely become regulars at Tecovas on Broadway in Nashville... and we're not mad about it. We seriously love this store. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming (bonus for +21: they hand you a beer while you shop, which just feels very Nashville). It makes the whole experience fun. Most of the time we go in thinking we know exactly which pair we want after stalking the website, but trying them on in person is a must. Sometimes the pair you didn't expect ends up being the one. And my favorite part? The boot branding in store. Such a cool personal touch. Since moving to Nashville almost two years ago, I may or may not have built a small Tecovas collection. No regrets. Just a heads up: because it's right in the middle of Broadway, it gets busy. We've learned to go on weekday evenings. I'd skip summer and weekends unless you're okay with waiting in line. Shout out Tecovas for an awesome shopping experience. The entire vibe is very welcoming even though it may be busy as all get down you really get that personalized one on one feel. The entire experience can be started off with a beverage of choice either a hard seltzer, beer or sparking water with a tecovas branded koozie. After looking around and deciding what boot you like you get a ton of people available to pull the boot of choice and help you get a personalized fit. I knew I wanted a pair of Tecovas during my visit to Nashville and was excited to get the full in-store experience. My friends and I stopped by in the afternoon and were immediately greeted by the staff who offered us complimentary water or beer (so fun!). We each tried on a few pairs, and the two lovely gentlemen who helped us were incredibly patient as we debated our choices. They gave great advice on materials, sizing, and care, which made the process so much easier. Once we made our picks, we got our boots branded! There were tons of letters and designs to choose from, and the woman doing the branding was so friendly and fun to chat with. They have free branding available even if you add a purchase previously! (They have to be tecovas though). The prices are pretty on par with what you would pay for other real boots. When in Nashville... One of my favorite boot brands. We discovered them on our last TX trip. Quality/Quantity - Again, one of my favorite brands of boots. Too bad they did not have my size. And I tried several styles. Atmosphere - In the mall, on the first floor. Decent size location. Crazy busy, but organized. Service - 5 stars. Very attentive. So many team members, almost one for one customer. Too bad they did not have my size. The good news is that we can order online for free. One less thing for me to carry back. They even gave my daughter some beer can coolers, see picture. I just read online that you have drinks also...? We could have used one or two, lol. We went into Tecovas intending to buy boots, but the first person who helped us made it clear she had no interest in actually helping us. She didn't explain anything about how the boots should fit or offer any guidance, so we left. We decided to give it another shot and came back later. This time, a different sales associate helped us she was much more attentive and made the process better. Unfortunately, that didn't last. At checkout, the cashier was more focused on chatting with her friend than ringing us up properly. She entered my email incorrectly, so I never received a receipt. When I returned to get the boots shipped before heading home, they still couldn't find my receipt because no one had updated my email, despite me asking them to. Between the indifference, disorganization, and lack of professionalism, this was genuinely the worst service I've experienced in a retail store. read more

After spending hearty sum on several items I'd called a car to pick us up. The store was 5-10 mins from closing time and the car was 5 minutes away. A woman came and fed us a line to urge us to leave - so we did. I waited in the cold for our car to arrive because the staff was concerned about locking the door exactly at 7. I recently bought the Lynn boots in cream, orchid, and navy meadow. They run 1/2 size large. The 8.5 fit my size 9 feet perfectly. They are comfortable right out of the box. Very high quality and smells wonderful! Tecovas are worth every penny! I'm thrilled with my new boots!!! read more

She helped size me and gave me multiple boots to try on to make sure I had the perfect fit. As you can see, I could not get this boot off and needed a lot of help! I walked into this store with my fiancé because we needed to kill some time waiting for a dinner reservation at Blanco. We left with $1000 of boots... and no buyer's remorse. First of all, the place is so damn charming. Compared to stuffy, pretentious Nashville boot stores like, idk... let's say... the Lucchese store in the Gulch. For real though, every time I walk into the Lucchese store in the Gulch, I get treated like a guy who has never seen money in his entire life (i.e. I'm not worth their time). On the contrary, at Tecovas, we walked in and were immediately greeted by friendly folks! We were offered Ranch Waters on the house. The owner came over and spoke to us. We made it clear that we were not looking to purchase anything - due to the amount of Ranch Waters we were kicking, we felt this necessary to disclose. They didn't care. Ranch Water, Ranch Water, Ranch Water! Then, all the sudden, we were laughing and trying on boots and BOOM... we purchased $1000 worth of boots with no buyer's remorse. AND they'll clean your boots for free anytime you decide to drop back in... might even give you a Ranch Water while they do it! I have seen ads for Tecovas and been curious about them for years. When I found out that they had a store in Nashville, I knew that I had to go. The store is very nice - spacious with good seating and the products are well displayed. I did not end up buying boots, but had a great experience with Diego. He was polite and attentive and really listened to my questions and provided thoughtful answers. Based on my experience with him I would feel confident ordering online in the future. The boots are beautiful and I felt that the prices were very good for the quality. Very solid customer service here. We had just come from Lucchese. The quality of the boots were very good and the pricing was affordable in comparison. It was really nice though to be invited to sit down at their bar and have a bourbon because it gave me a few minutes to talk to them about their company and how they compare to other companies out there. I was offered a beer while I browsed and Caleb and Holly offered help, but encouraged me to browse and ask questions if I had any.
