You get small town gossip and careful, leisurely attention to your hair including warm shave cream and a razor trim at the end. The ladies pay $50 for this kind of treatment (and probably less salty commentary from the town elders and wise guys who wander in and out). We get it for $15 plus your generous tip. Don't expect to walk in and plop down without an appointment, however. The online reservation system is easy. Then just be sure you keep that appointment. The original barbers from my youth have retired but I believe one of their kids bought the place and is running it now. They even have the same furniture, waiting chairs, barber chairs (though without the ash trays), and I think a few other things. Either way looked great but moving it up was just what I needed. I think he asked because my hair is starting to get light up their () but it was a great move to ask me for feedback on the cut at an abstract level, so I could just guide the process while he does the real work. Parents coming in with young children were greeted immediately and made to feel welcome. I have had many haircuts in the Clifton Park / Saratoga area, however, when I met Anthony about ten years ago, I knew I found a gem!
