You want to stop and have a bottle of wine here. The selection s amazing! I got the Salmon crostini which was perfect. Impressively perfect. Service s impeccable. Ambiance is casual upscale. Highly recommend and will be back!

My partner, Jim Wallace, is a historian for Olmsted Falls. We often visit and regularly go to the Olde Wine Cellar. We recently visited with Jim's 1972 high school reunion group- yes! 50 year reunion! The owner had a live band for us to dance to and outdoor seating. We had a great time mingling with friends.

Enjoying sangria on a beautiful day!

Not a lot of seating in the cold months. Otherwise very nostalgic. The flatbread is delicious.

They have lights and signage to let you know you're at the right house. They even have a small vineyard growing in the backyard.. Upon entering the door to the winery, you will find yourself in a stairwell with stairs going down to the basement. Once you're in the basement you will immediately forget you are in a basement. It is quite a spacious and comfortable area with lots of tables and couches, a fireplace, a bar, and a bathroom. There's even a section where they make the wine in steel barrels. It's very cozy, charming, friendly and clean. The host/owners are extremely friendly. It seems that the owner's family is from Northern Italy and we enjoyed talking to them. The Wine itself far exceeded my expectations. We tasted three reds plus the Chardonnay, and we enjoyed all of it. The blueprint red blend was my favorite followed by the Chardonnay. I'm a bit of a Wine snob and I typically don't like Ohio wine. However, I was pleasantly surprised...okay...if we're being honest...actually shocked...that all the wine we tasted was excellent. I will definitely be telling all my friends and family about La Famiglia winery!

They made us feel like we didn't belong there. it was a very off night. while eating our bread te waiter took our dipping oil he said to make room for our dinner which didn't come for another 10 mins. neither of us were even close to finishing our bread. ok- we all have off nights. but I got the chicken Jo Jo Carolina which was rather liquidy. all right no big deal. it was just ok. ate less than half and asked for a to go box. they gave me styrofoam box and a paper bag. I placed my food in it. we sat for 5 maybe 10 minutes to finish our drinks. when I got up to leave guess what- the liquid seeped through and fell splattering all over on the floor. a waitress came over and said she got it and to leave. I said I'm worried someone will fall and she said we're good you can go. I know this isn't absolutely horrible but was rude. I wish I can take back my 20% tip. my $26 deal meal wasted. I'm writing this in hopes the restaurant sees this and they will remind their staff to be a little more courteous to people who work hard and want to enjoy their meal. I don't expect them to replace my meal but maybe I'm so sorry this happed instead we got hurried through the meal and then after losing my meal told to go. I think it Was just an off night but it will make me think twice before returning.

(Girl math) Vino Volo was right next to my gate so I figured I was within a safe distance to chill for a bit. I went in and sat myself at the bar and was quickly greeted by a nice woman behind the counter. I told her about my boarding time and she assured me that I was good to sit for a bit. The biz itself was really cute and reminded me of an Italian restaurant. I was really impressed by their menu! They offered dozens of wines, a number of cocktails and beers, as well as some lighter bites. I loved that they included special notations for details such as: BIPOC-owned, woman-owned, etc. They even had a special page that celebrated Women's History Month with a number of wines that are woman-owned. I decided to go with the woman-owned Petite Sirah from Shannon Ridge. It was wonderful! I had time to enjoy my wine, do a bit of work and relax before it was time for me to board. Definitely an airport fave for me!

The larger the group, the cheaper your own total will be! Your Wine Cellar is hidden inside of Brew Kettle and Top Golf in Strongsville, nearby Walmart. Don't be fooled by the outdated Google Images of a place with its own sign - it no longer is labeled clearly. Meg was our host and director of our wine making adventure. She was great! We went through a dozen or so rounds of wine tastings to decide, as a group, what we will make. Each sample is $1 and I only tried a few, sticking mostly to the fruity ones. I liked the California Moscato the best of the whites. I only tried one red, the Diablo. The Diablo was the one we ended up making. The making process took about 10 minutes. We also were able to order food from the Brew Kettle. The food I ordered for lunch will be part of the review I wrote for Brew Kettle, which will be published soon after this one. Overall, I had a fun time with my friends, learning about what kinds of wines we like and don't like. In 8 weeks, we are coming back to bottle and label our wines! The entire process ended up being $20-25 a person.

We've never had a bad experience, so I finally decided it was time to leave a review. One of my family's favorite appetizers is the fried green beans, we order them almost every visit. My youngest son always gets the poutine topped with Wisconsin white cheese curds, house smoked brisket, savory brown gravy, and scallions. It's one of his absolute favorites. This past visit I wasn't very hungry, so I decided to try the special lasagna soup and it was excellent. It genuinely tasted just like lasagna in soup form and was perfect comfort food. My oldest son ordered the Smokehouse Pulled Pork sandwich with hickory smoked pulled pork, house BBQ sauce, pickles, and served on a challah bun with fries and house slaw. My husband went with the chef's special smash burger, which he really enjoyed as well. The food is consistently good, portions are generous, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Definitely one of our go-to spots in the area.

I'm sure it saves them a LITTLE bit of money to not order paper/cardboard bowls, but at the same time - the dip is $13! If I'm ordering it to go it should be in a bowl that is easier (and less messy) to dip the bread in. The bread is also supposed to be "grilled ciabatta" - my bread was definitely not grilled. Why not serve this dip with the same chips that are served with the buffalo dip? As a former hostess, I was also disappointed with my pickup experience. The restaurant was EMPTY (it was lunch time), there was no one at the host stand so I went to the bar to ask the bartender about my order. She asked me to wait for the hostess to clean off a table. Once again, it was COMPLETELY empty, no patron was waiting for this table to be cleaned off - but I AM here! And still, I had to wait for her to clean a table for no guests in an empty restaurant, instead of tending to me, the customer who was physically there. I have to get back to work, that's why I ordered to go, what the hell? Guests that are physically there should come first, even if my order is to go. Get it together Brew Kettle.
