Where to begin, I'm shocked I haven't made a review of Wine Bar with how often we eat here. The perfect location, easy to walk to, or park in one of the many lost along Linda Street. You can sit inside or outside on the patio when the weather is nice. The menu offers perfectly portioned appetizers of mussels, shrimp scampi, salads, flatbreads and plenty more, perfect for sharing. The wine list is vast, offering variety for all budgets and pallets. Personally service is hit or miss, most of the wait staff are friendly and personable, but we have had a few rude encounters but they won't keep us from coming back, everyone needs wine, even on a bad day. read more

This was the perfect spot for our girls night! Everything was delicious but the favorite dish of the night was definitely the cauliflower with kimchi! The drinks were strong and I liked that you could try a small pour of multiple wines. The bar is stunning and as an avid cheetah print lover I had to snap a pic of the adorable bathroom that was also very clean and well stocked. Fantastic Wine Bar Experience in Rocky River! My girlfriend and I visited this past Sunday in the mood for charcuterie and wine, and everything was excellent. We both ordered the Moscato, enjoyed a charcuterie board with a delicious selection of meats and cheeses, and each of us had a bowl of their soup of the day - roasted red pepper soup. Everything was perfectly prepared and flavorful. During the holidays, the wine bar transforms into the Nutcracker Wine Bar, and it's tastefully and beautifully decorated. The shelves above the bar are adorned with nutcrackers, and the ceiling is covered with big, stunning gold ornaments--it's a magical, festive atmosphere that makes the experience even more special. 3.5 stars! Kind of weird vibe so I'm rounding down but the food was solid and service was good! We got the truffle fries which were very good. Mom and I split a Caesar, a little overdressed and not a super light dressing but good. Also split the caprese chicken sandwich, which was fine, pretty much exactly what you'd expect. My dad got a the Brie flatbread with pepperoni, which in my opinion was the best thing in the table (but I say that as a Brie lover). Overall fine experience! read more

This place is my favorite, always and forever. (I know I've written a review for here before, but I've found Yelp has deleted several of my reviews, which is so frustrating. ) Anyway, the patio is the best in all CLE. They have a covered all season patio with a fireplace which is always open (so cozy) and also an open air one that's open in the summer. The vibes inside are upscale and cozy as well. You cannot go wrong! (The fireside room is open occasionally when there's not an event going on. They tried seating us in there once but it was right under an air vent and FREEZING) The menu changes occasionally, which I LOVE! Being a typical Aries, I get bored easily, so I look forward to trying new menu items when they change. Although, I miss when faves get taken off. But that just means we have to go often before they leave the menu! I'm a vegetarian, so sometimes it can be challenging to find something I can eat on their menu. But there's usually a veggie burger, an entire, and a flatbread that's meat free. (Depending on how strict you are, make sure to ask, since I didn't know until the French onion pizza was made with beef products until I've been there several times) We've noticed that the food is a little inconsistent sometimes (different bread used for a sandwich, different potatoes on the pizza, etc.) but I'm just assuming they are using whatever's fresh and on hand in the kitchen. Fine with me! The wine selection is great. Their fries are herbed and fantastic. The waitstaff is usually very friendly as well. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in all of Cleveland. Quality food, amazing vibes, great service (usually). We come here for every birthday, celebration, as well as frequent date nights. And the patio cannot be beat! You can make a reservation online too, which I highly recommend for the weekends, especially as the weather gets warmer bc you WILL have to wait ! read more

Visited family in Cleveland and returned here for our second visit. Lovely evening to be outside and the place was hopping with a crowd that ranged from twentysomethings to octogenarians and everything in-between. Great weather and a fun crowd were accented by a guy playing the guitar with some electronic/pre-recorded background -- a lot of 70s and 80s rock that suited the crowd just fine. Started with the buffalo cauliflower which was delightful if a little stingy on the portion size. All four of our entrees were fabulous -- thumbs up for the watermelon and feta salad, the speck (like prosciutto) flatbread, the caprese pasta, and my soba noddle bowl. Service was a little slow, but only because the place was slammed, and as we were in no hurry and our server was delightful, that was not an issue for us. Struck by two things that are in the "minus" column, though...one was having the most expensive Cabernet (by the glass) on the menu poured into the same glass in which I'd just had a Chablis -- I'd have expected at least the offer of a clean glass. The other was watching a couple a few tables over on the patio as they shared their dinner with their dog (which was in a stroller...). Not quite what I signed up for at this pretty fully priced (especially for Cleveland) spot. We'll be back nonetheless.... A bit disappointed with our service last night. The food was top notch as per usual, and the wine selection suited our needs. The peaches and chicken flatbread was excellent and the Mediterranean farro salad was good. I highly recommend the outdoor seating at the Wine Bar. Our only gripe was our server. Always love coming here for a good patio vibe. They also had live music at 6pm Wednesday!! Honestly...was very disappointed in the cheese board. We ordered a large and added meat for more money and for $35 you can tell in the pic we got mainly all carbs. Do not order unless you really are craving charcuterie. They really give you nothing. I really enjoyed my birthday dinner with friends here! While the weather was chilly, the patio ambiance was wonderful. There are inside seating options also. The wine list, not surprisingly, is very extensive. They have a Cabernet Franc, one of my favorite reds, which I don't often see on the menu. Perhaps my favorite appetizer is the tempura buffalo cauliflower (not pictured). It was a perfect balance of crispiness and gentle spiciness. Came here for a fun girls lunch and it was wonderful!! Obviously we had our fair share of different wines! I truly don't think you can go wrong with a wine selection here! I've been here many times and tried all types of wine.... I've never once been disappointed! My friend got a simple salad, that she described as being the perfect summer salad to pair with wine!! My friend got the Chicken sandwich and said it was cooked perfectly! The chicken had a lot of flavor but was still juicy!! and bonus... her fries we served extra crispy liked she asked! I've been in Cleveland for over three years and finally made it out to Wine Bar Rocky River a couple months ago! When I came here on a Thursday evening, this place was surprisingly busy (I recommend making a reservation if you can!). Luckily I was able to find a parking spot in their relatively large lot. They have a super cute patio here, as well as tables that are well spaced apart inside the restaurant so you can eat inside or outside during these COVID times. My friend and I ended up ordering a small cheeseboard, as well as the truffle flatbread to share. Everything was delicious, including the wines we ordered. I wish I got the name of our server because he truly went above and beyond our expectations with offering recommendations, even giving me a couple samples when I couldn't decide on which wine to get. I was personally looking for some lighter wines so I ended up trying a couple white wines (the Domaine and Chevalier), which tasted light and refreshing, complementing the meal perfectly. This is such a cute spot for wine, apps, or dinner. they have an extensive wine list for glasses or bottle. they also have a long list of wines on tap thag can be turned into a flight or samples of 1, 2 or 5oz. I tried a flight of 3 and all of the wines were delicious. Absolutely horrible. We were super excited to go for our first time as the weather is nice and we've been wanting to go since moving in to the neighborhood. We got there and they sat us right away which was nice, however once we sat, the hostess asked to move us to another spot as where she originally sat us was meant for four people. We obliged but the place she sat us was in the corner on a deck where we could easily fall off (we moved the chair and table a little to avoid falling off) however also the deck every time someone stepped on it our chairs and table wobbled. What annoyed us the most was after moving us, the same hostess sat two people at the table she just told us was meant for four people. We had to ask for a dinner menu since they didn't give us that. They brought our wine out which felt like forever and the wine had cork in it. We are paying $13-15 a glass of wine so at this point we just asked for the check and a new glass of wine. Sat in the covered patio on a Tuesday night and was excited to see the amount of people here. While still following all Covid guidelines, I was excited to eat and drink here based off how many people were here on a week night.
