Lot of tables and I can assume it gets crazy loud during top hours. It is pleasant inside though. The food was also a mix. Lobster Bisque wasn't the worst We've ever had, but close. Not a busque. Not a chowder. More like a heavy soup. Flavor was more imitation crab than Lobster. But like most bars nobody complains as they drink with their food. The Gnocci alla Vodka however was amazing. Best I've had in Ohio. The gnocci wasn't perfect, but the sauce was fabulous. Gritty, full of sausage and the bite of the vodka sauce was very reminiscent of a good bolognese. Bread was a poor choice for this meal. Pretzel bread is great for burgers and beer but not for delicate flavors. Miss there too. Low review for service and food. I'd go back to try it again to re-review but it's a firm 2. Better places in the area to go.

One could easily spend the day at Emilie's, the perfect blend of caffeine, small plates, pastries and kitschy hats, candles and clothing for gifting or the perfect weekend set up. The baristas are pleasant, friendly and quick for the busy pace of walk-in traffic. We opted to sit down, with a chai, espresso and a cold brew, for quick eats we opted for two different toast pairings perfect for sharing so we each try the other, the lox toast with salmon, lemon dill cream cheese was fantastic, the toast was sturdy and crunchy holding up well for the heavy toppings. The avocado was good, I would add coarse salt and pepper if it was available l, definitely needed a kick with the avocado. My husband loved the nitro coals brew, the foam settled perfectly, he said it was the best in the area, which is high praise for someone who lives on black coffee and espresso. If you are looking for a local coffee spot, they offers wine too, cozy corners and family fun, yes there are quite a few kids in-house, then make Emilie's your next spot. Today I ordered the Portobello burger. The portobello mushroom was marinated in balsamic. I'm not typically a fan of balsamic, but since I love Portobello I gave it a try. Unfortunately the balsamic marinade was too much, I almost choked with the first 3 bites. Both of my daughters tried the mushroom and agreed that it was too much balsamic marinade. This was the first time I returned a meal. Our waitress, Brenda, was AMAZING. She quickly had me order something else, which was promptly brought out to me (and it was delicious). Throughout the rest of our meal she continually apologized. I was not angry...I understood. She made this possibly bad experience a good one. My daughters enjoyed their meals. (Unfortunately my granddaughter did not enjoy hers - she ordered mac-n-cheese - and according to her it was tasteless.) Regardless, I love Bistro83 and I will go back, and the wonderful way we were treated is one of the reasons.

That was honored , so thank you . However , The food was underwhelming at best . We were sat immediately but didn't get our meals until almost 645 . We ordered hot chips for an appetizer and they came on a salad plate? They practically slid off the plate when placed on the table . A basket of some type would present a lot better IMHO like most restaurants do w like apps. I know it seems picky but I feel as though this is supposed to be a little more upscale than an Applebees . My mom and I ordered the Garlic Shrimp scampi , the noodles were Al dente which I prefer , but they all stuck together in a ball , both dishes and there was zero flavor and the dish was hardly hot temperature wise . My fiancé had the chicken Marsala and he said he should have just had a burger . The kids meals were enjoyed more than the entrees ~ chicken tenders and fries were good ! The waitress acknowledged and apologized for the long wait and manager comped us desserts . My mom had the crème brûlée , she did enjoy. I tried a white strawberry type cake , it was awful . It looked great but it was dry and watery when bit into the cake . It's like it was in a too cold refrigerator too long . The consistency was like packed cold sand that fell apart in your mouth . Just not good . I really wanted this to be a great experience, NR is my hometown and my mom still lives there , we visit a lot . I'd hoped it could be a better than it was because the atmosphere is beautiful and the server was great ~ but what is up w the food an experience that wasn't worth the price tag unfortunately.

The concept--part winery, part brewery--definitely intrigued us, and I'll say right off the bat: the service staff was truly fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and clearly putting in the effort to make guests feel welcome. That said, the overall experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The seasonal mixed drinks were creative and fun, and the fries were surprisingly solid. Unfortunately, the spicy chicken sandwich was underwhelming--bland, without much heat or flavor--and the buffalo chicken dip was just decent. With a pretty limited food menu, we found ourselves wishing for a few more standout options to round out the visit. To be fair, we didn't sample any of their craft beers, which could very well be the highlight of the place. But for a Friday happy hour at 5:30, the sparse crowd (just eight people, including us) made the atmosphere feel more quiet than energetic. I genuinely want to root for a local spot like this, and I admire what they're trying to build. But based on our experience, this feels like a one-and-done for us. I'm still giving it 3 stars , largely because the staff really did make the best impression of the night--and that counts for a lot.

I ordered the Crispy Brussels and she selected the Roasted Garlic Whipped Mascarpone. The pasta was delicious. And so were the Brussels. The Whipped Mascarpone was OK, although both of us thought the combination of the cheese, garlic, lemon, and pretzel crackers were a little too much. Both thought the garlic was too forward, and the mascarpone would have been better with just the lemon and/or perhaps with a touch of honey...even hot honey. I especially loved the whipped fig honey butter. For my entree, I got the Thai spicy chicken sandwich and it was sooo good. I wanted to finish it but I think I filled up on too much bread lol. I felt like the fries didn't really add anything to it and were a bit plain and meh. I liked the fingerling potatoes a lot more. Their desserts are amazing.
