My sweetheart and I Couples night.

My fiancé and I went here for our Mid week date night to relax and unwind. The facilitator Mark was vert welcoming. He advised us to sit wherever we liked offered us a glass of wine and had snacks too.He made painting easy and fun! I enjoyed the night so much and think I will be making this a monthly maybe even bi monthly couples or group activity.

Mark was our host for the evening. He was extremely fun and outgoing. We enjoyed his class and his awesome vibes!

Decided to switch our date night up and take a painting class at VinoArtist with my fiancé! Asides we're an unartistic duo-- we've had this in our to-do bucket list as a couple. Since VinoArtist offers different themes each class for you to recreate, we went with the "You and I" painting which is a couple admiring a sunset at a beach. If my fiancé and I were to be a masterpiece, it would be exactly that since we both love the beach and watching sunsets during spring/summer. As advertised once we arrived we were given art supplies along with aprons and a station with our canvas. Before class started, our instructor told us they had some snacks and alcohol for sale to eat and sip during class. So glad we brought our own bottle and charcuterie-- the pours seemed small and snack selection wasn't the best! Throughout the class we were guided step by step but midway through the couples seated next to us including ourselves had a hard time catching up since the instructor decided to speed up. Definitely was a challenge for most of us beginners but a great experience. For those who didn't get to finish once he was done with the class he gave the option to stay for a bit to add finishing touches or catch up. The end product forsure didn't turn out as shown on the website which is okay since you're supposed -- but we did a pretty good job or should I saw my fiancé did. My takeaway would be that this was a fun experience however I felt the instructor we had was a bit of a miss for us.

Went here recently for a team building event. This place can be tough to find since it's inside a business building nestled in a little room on the third floor. After overcoming the hurdle of locating the actual place, everything was cool. We were able to bring in our own finger food and drinks (which included wine too). The instructor was fairly new (only two months on the job) but was very patient. Each person gets a station with an apron, thick and skinny paint brushes, a paper plate (for the paint), water cup, napkin, and a canvas sitting on an easel. There is a painting chosen before the class begins and your goal is to recreate that image onto your own canvas. Thankfully you're not on your own since there is an instructor that will guide you step by step as you're painting. It's a fun experience and I didn't realize how challenging painting can be. Recommend doing this for a date night!

We had lot of fun doing the painting . Four of us went to the for paint nite , we used groupon to get tge tickets ... got a great deal for Admission and wine . It was fun three hours . I gave four star for 2 small reasons 1. I think the place was little small for the number of people who came . 2. We only used basic pallet to create the painting which gave different shade than the actual... but still so much fun . Definitely going back there

My bf took me here for a date night for our anniversary. It was so fun and cute. I love the concept of everything especially having a cup of wine while we paint. Mark was awesome and so nice! He is why im writing this review. However I did feel the company should put a time limit of only 15 min to be late because it did seem to mess up marks flow of walking us through our painting having to go back and forth. People were rudely late and it seemed like mark couldve used some extra help. Overall I had an amazing time.

If we have, it was definitely years ago LOL. It was cool that they had a small bar and drinks were a reasonable price! Our initial impression was that we were kind of anxious, considering our lack of experience, short time frame, and complexity of the painting. However, Heather (our instructor) began the session by explaining that if it's easier for us to just paint whatever we want or not paint at all, that would be fine. We weren't going to do that but having the reassurance made us feel so much more relieved! It was very easy to follow along the steps and it was actually really fun for our group! Towards the end, we did feel rushed because we were past the session and have not gotten to the last steps, but Heather was able to quickly run us through them and then when she finished, we were still free to sit for a bit to finish up the painting. The experience was very enjoyable for my first time here and even though my painting wasn't the best, I would definitely come back!

After a few minutes, a staff member guided us to the front to order drinks before we were seated. The painting portion was a pleasant experience, especially with Heather as the instructor. She explained each step clearly and demonstrated how to paint the picture in an easy to follow way. No prior painting experience is needed, which makes it perfect for first timers. That said, the class felt very structured, almost like being back in school with constant instructions. While I did enjoy the experience overall, I think it might feel a bit stressful as a team bonding activity. Trying to keep up with the pace while also wanting to talk with friends gave me flashbacks to college classes.

We were all painting the same thing but there was not one that was alike. I thought everyone did a great job painting too. The event was held at an Italian restaurant that serves drinks and food. My only bit of advise is, I wish Yaymaker sold drink coupons on their site or as addedium fee on Groupon. I would had loved to save some money on wine too. Overall, very fun. I look forward to my next Yaymaker event with my BFF.

I finally got to try this out last summer, and first I'll just say, it was a little pricier than I expected it to be. There's usually a Groupon for this event, and even with that you're paying around $30/person, so I suggest checking that out before buying your ticket. It doesn't come with any drinks, so you'll have to pay additional prices for those. Paint Nite works by you selecting the night you want to attend the event on their website. They have multiple Bay Area cities, with an almost endless list of locations in each where the events will take place. They have multiple events per week, and each night is a different location and example painting. If you bought a Groupon, you'll enter it during the payment stage. All pretty self-explanatory. Along with being more expensive than I imagined, it's also much less glamorous. When I was younger, I thought these nights would be held at a studio or someone's home, with the wine being supplied (and not being super cheap). I really wasn't a fan of the Grill 'Em Restaurant we went to, because it's the quality of Chili's or Applebee's. I knew there wouldn't be decent wine at a decent price, so I ordered two cocktails instead. Unfortunately those were so sweet, they made me feel ill afterward. The food wasn't too good either...but that's a review for their business, not this one. I brought an old friend with me when I went, and he decided to do his own thing and painted something from Twin Peaks. The instructor was funny and knew how to explain painting to first-time painters who were pretty tipsy. Our class was mostly a large group of women who were celebrating one of their birthdays, and they were mostly all drunk and very loud. I probably wouldn't pay this much to paint again, but I certainly wouldn't choose the location we had again. It's fun to do once, though.

Though there was a schedule that listed Matiz class 9:45 am to 10:45 am on Saturdays, there was no information regarding start and end date, so I was under the impression it was on a rolling admission, or that I would receive an email with directions. I did not receive an email with instructions, thus I emailed Art Hub Academy asking whether or not I should show up the next day (Saturday) for the class. Jose Luis emailed me back and let me know that all classes start at the beginning of the month, however he was super accommodating and allowed my son to come in the next day, all due to MY confusion! I apologized for the inconvenience and thanked him for his flexibility and for being so thoughtful. We showed up to the class the next morning, and Ms. Vivian was there. I am extremely impressed with how patient she is. She provided an all inclusive classroom environment that made my son feel comfortable. So much so, that he asked if I could leave because all of the other parents were not present. Usually he does not like to be alone in new environments until he warms up, but he wanted to be alone within 10 minutes of the class! The children were already working on a clay project from the week prior, and Ms. Vivian accommodated all of the children. I watched her navigate the class professionally with an enthusiastic attitude and friendly demeanor. She was well organized and made sure to give every child attention, as well as one-on-one attention. She explained tasks well to the children, and encouraged the children to socialize. She was gentle yet firm in her teaching approach. I got the vibe that Ms. Vivian loves what she does and it truly shows through her actions. When the class was over, I walked back in to pick my child up. I asked her how my child did. It went well, he enjoyed it all while having fun and learning art concepts. I was surprised at how attentive she proved to be. In addition to telling me how the class went, she picked up on things that I was already aware of, but did not expect others to pick up on during a one hour class. For example, she picked up on the fact that my son needs a lot of hands-on instruction and repetition. She even went as far as to ask how she could better help my son. Words can not explain how good Ms. Vivian's attention to detail made me feel as a parent. I am truly appreciative of the professional and patient demeanor exhibited by this facility. I am really happy with the choice I made to bring my child here. My son would not stop talking about how fun the class was, and walking me through the process of "wiring" for his clay model. It has only been one class and I can see the impact that this establishment has made on my child's self-confidence. The developmental gains that my son (and I'm sure other children) are making from this establishment are substantial. Thank you for the love and confidence that you pour into our children, Art Hub Academy!

Thank you, FlowHaus, for creating such a memorable evening and awakening the artist within us! As someone who is far from an artist--I can barely manage stick figures--and who doesn't practice meditation, I found the sessions incredibly relaxing. Watching myself create 'art' by choosing and applying colors, seeing them flow across the canvas under my control, was immensely satisfying.
