So much to drool over. So much!! I will have to save some for next year and spoil myself with some really neat finds. There are lots of different styles and types of things being sold. Things for children and adults. Unique items and antique items. Some true artisans making fabulous items. Expect to pay for them. There were original painted and sculpted pieces going for hundreds of dollars. And then little vintage tins for 50 cents. One range to another price wise. I loved some things that I wish I could have gotten. There were food trucks INSIDE the sports complex and coffee and popcorn and more. It was really fun for me, but I love looking at all the different and unique items. Everyone there seemed to enjoy it and were walking with bags!!! All a good sign that the venders did well. There was an Old Fashion candle I now wish I had bought. Can't stop thinking about the smell. Ahhhhhh! I plan to go again.

Held at the Franklin Sports Complex, the space is large and parking lot was full when we arrived just after 10am. There's a small entry fee, but it was well worth it to access all of these creative vendors in one space. With 150 vendors, it's impossible to list everything that's available but a short list might be: handmade soaps and candles, jewelry, paintings, postcards & magnets, upcycled wine bottle candles and glasses, repurposed metal and wood art, salvaged antiques, creative air plant displays, and much more. There's a good mix of vendors to please the young and old. My parents and I both found things to fit our tastes. There's plenty of Wisconsin love and local sports team products to check off anyone on your Christmas list. While we missed the consignment area in the front, there are hourly raffles that are free- so put your name in to win some of the objects on sale in the hall. There's a small amount of food offerings, which could be expanded! We didn't see that there were beer and Mimosas until we were leaving. That might have loosened our wallets! Looks like this event happens again January 28-29, 2017, in April, and perhaps again in November. So check their website or 88.9 Radio Milwaukee or WMSE for announcements.

As you make your way around the upstairs where she has laid out the beds (pun mildly intended), will have you longing to walk off with all of them at once, while their prices are nothing short of astounding. If there was ever a time to focus on buying local, this post-COVID time is it, and if you are looking for a place that is going to be fair, where you will find something that will last, this is the store. More importantly, Linda's knowledge of interior design means when you walk in and jabber as incoherently as I did, she will cheerfully help you find what matches your style and/or make your significant other happy without breaking the bank. When you go, tell her Guy says "Hi."

I purchased a plaid flannel sheet set, you can visibly see they go together, they were all on the same hanger AND had one price tag on one sheet....I was charged TWO separate prices. When I asked what the extra charge was for she told me they were two separate things...that "the fitted sheet came in a day later." I said they clearly match, we're hanging on the same hanger, and only one is marked..maybe they should each have their own price tag then....what a joke???!!?!

I am seeing dollar store items priced at $2.99, broken glassware priced at ridiculous amounts, and donations from stores that marked their items half off priced at the original amounts in this store. I understand that everything is going up in the world but these price hikes are insane and I will no longer be shopping here. I should not have to pay $3.99 for a Dollar Tree drinking glass. Because of these prices I feel the shelves are still filled with the same items I saw 6 months ago because not people are buying. I've spoken to many guests in the stores who feel the same way. My business is now going to St. Vincent DePaul and a local thrift store just a few blocks from here.

It was an older man and woman, and a young 18-year-old girl. They showed up, took a couch from the house and a table and chairs from the garage. They refused to listen when I tried to instruct them how to get the large couch out of the house. Instead, they forced it around a built in hutch, into the front hallway, and bent the light fixture hanging down. The guy constantly kept moving even though I told him to stop and that I would take the fixture down first. He was extremely rude to me and mumbled that he's done this "a lot." Well, I'm the one that knows how the couch got in, so at least pretend to listen (is what I was thinking). Then the table and chairs in the garage... the young girl wasn't strong enough and instead of asking for help, she just dragged the table across the cement on its side. That was extremely painful to watch. I'm kicking myself for letting that table go after seeing the lack of care this company treats the pieces people donate for FREE. Good quality pieces that lasted 40+ years, four kids, six grandkids, and a cat. Unbelievable. We had much more for Revival Thrift to pick up. They said they would be back in a half-hour after unloading back at their shop. They never came back. After 1.5 hours (ish) I called and left our cell phone numbers... no response. Waited another hour. My sister called from the neighbor's phone and the young girl answered (probably because it was from a different number) and she had no reason as to why they weren't coming back. She just seemed like she was lying rather than just saying, "Hey, we got a look at what was there and we just don't need it for our shop." That would've been perfectly acceptable and my sister and I would've been on our way. I mean, we took vacation time from work to have this company clear our mom's house. The remaining stuff was boxed and ready for them to take. This was a complete waste of time and now we have to do it again with another company to finish up. And for a place that claims it wants to help people, Revival Thrift did nothing of the sort for my family. It's extremely difficult to clear your childhood home and Revival Thrift made the experience 1,000 times worse. Don't waste your time with these people. Call Purple Heart, Easter Seals, Salvation Army, or Good Will. We wanted to contribute the remaining quality items of our mother's to a local organization that helped people in need. Unfortunately we picked the wrong one.
