Always a good time when I come here. They had a DJ and he was bumping!!!! Bar service was fast and the drinks were on point. Food was open as well. Will try that next time.

Really fun experience. We sat outside. It was nice to be able to visit and hear each other. Charcuterie tray was ample and well priced.

Great place for an early cocktail or beer. Tons of local and craft beers available as well as some quality cocktails. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and friendly. Appetizers and flat breads are pretty good for bar food. Tonight we got the burrata and prosciutto. Roughly 25 other people here saturday at 7pm

Cooling off with great drinks, food, and company at VSB is always a wonderful time! The bartenders are always super helpful with drink suggestions and friendly! The staff in the back making food always bring it out hot and it always tastes great! I really appreciate that you can order food and drinks at the bar, then go grab a spot on one of their comfortable Couches or chairs in the open seating spaces - inside and outside. You will be given a buzzer that will go off when your food is ready so you know when to head to the back to pick up the food. They also have pretty solid drink and food deals every day that customers can enjoy. PS you can get a really great charcuterie board here as well for you and friends to enjoy with a bottle of Prosecco or unique cocktails It's a great daytime or nighttime spot to hang out in Winston!

Hip, casual, cool vibe bar with mix of yuppies and artsy types young crowd! Bartender was attentive and drinks were well prepared! Place has several sofas well placed for maximum seating and create lively and cool vibe. There was a pool table and a few customers were playing rounds of pool, including one in party who we high five several times for being a really good player as he won each few rounds with different opponent seeming to unseat him as the best player of the night, to no avail... Our NC friends hosted us here and a few other bars we hopped on and off til the wee hours---it was an enjoyable fun day and night of gears and guitars weekend! We met new friends and got to reconnect with old ones, and this place was a great catalyst part of the night and facilitated many laughters and story telling visit!

Vintage Sofa Bar is always a solid cocktail spot to visit when we are in town. Affordable, comfortable, lots of drink options, and the service is consistent. I'm very particular about my espresso martini and the bartender took great care into making sure that it was made perfectly for me-nice and bitter! We love to sit outside and people watch, so their patio is perfect for that. Make sure to follow them and keep an eye out for the speakeasy coming soon next door.

The auto grat is at "their discretion"

Will I go here again? HELL NO The good: the drinks were cool and funky. The burnt end quesadilla was delicious. The bad: they decided to auto grat a 20% gratuity which is apparently at "their discretion". Fun fact: we ordered the food at the bar but we had to go get it ourselves. As anyone who goes out with us, we usually tip more than 20% and usually in cash. I had to do half of the serving myself, your attitude was CRAPTASTICAL, and your going to charge me 20% The ugly: they took Bill's bar stool when he got up to use the men's room. When we complained, they were rude. When we moved, someone came over to apologize. Which seemed decent. Until we got the tab with no mention of imposing the 20% auto grat. There was a line for an additional tip. Here's a tip: don't treat your customers like crap. You act like jackalopes, take our chair, then decide you deserve 20%? POUND SAND. We will NOT be back.

Vibe. Best way to really describe Vintage. A big appreciation for their food menu but I mainly go for the vibe and just a really good place to chill with friends. The food menu is always bigger than I expected but hard to say many of the items really made in house. The empanadas I would highly recommend though; some of the better empanadas I've had but also the salsa verde is really good as well. Would recommend

Love this cocktail bar!! The drinks and food are amazing. Open air concept, great place to meet your friends or start date night out!

Not just for drinks!! Next time you're looking for a fun spot to grab drinks and dinner with friends or a date - consider Sofa! The food here is scratch made and actually super good I always enjoy the dishes My highlights were the bruschetta, jerk chicken wings (my favorite!!) and the truffle fries. Usually the crab dip and empanadas are also bangin' but they were not the highlight this time but I'm not holding that against them. The food is pretty fast and you can order right at the bar. It's easy and there's something for everyone. Try it out - you won't be disappointed

My husband was assaulted inside the bar, and the people responsible left before police arrived. To make matters worse, we were told the cameras only livestream and do not record, which was incredibly frustrating because it meant there was no recorded footage available to help identify the people involved. Everyone deserves to enjoy a night out without worrying about their safety. Based on our experience, I would choose a bar with better security measures and recorded surveillance instead.

My son and I were in Winston-Salem for the International Black Theatre Festival with Visit Winston,…read moreand when I learned we had free time for lunch, one recommendation immediately caught my attention. Between the rave reviews and the beautifully designed space, I knew this would be our stop. The first thing I noticed when we arrived was that the parking lot was on the smaller side, but any concern disappeared the moment we checked in. The hostess greeted us warmly, asked for my license plate so she could validate our parking, and had us seated almost immediately. It was such a thoughtful touch and set the tone for the experience. On the way to our table, I couldn't help but notice the inviting patio, perfect for lingering over lunch on a beautiful day. That said, I had reserved an indoor table, and I'm glad I did. The dining room is intimate, stylish, and effortlessly chic. It's the kind of restaurant that feels equally suited for a catch-up with friends as it does for a date night. The tables are close together, creating a lively atmosphere, so it's worth keeping that in mind if you prefer a little more privacy. Our server, Aundria, made an already wonderful experience even better. She was warm, attentive, and knew the menu inside and out. It was also refreshing to see the entire team working together so seamlessly, with everyone stepping in to help one another throughout the meal. I ordered the lobster roll with shoestring fries, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The lobster was fresh, buttery, and generously portioned, making it one of those dishes I'd happily order again. Before we left, I asked Aundria what she reaches for when she dines there. Without hesitation, she recommended the Korean Beef Bowl, which has already earned a spot on my list for my next visit. As if the experience couldn't have ended on a sweeter note, it started raining just as we were leaving. The hostess grabbed an umbrella and walked me to my car, a simple gesture that perfectly reflected the hospitality we experienced from start to finish. Great food is memorable, but genuine hospitality is what keeps me coming back. This restaurant delivered both, and it's officially earned a place on my list of Winston-Salem favorites.

The "Korean Beef Bowl" came with about a cup of each beef, rice, cucumbers and maybe 1/4th of an avocado for $24. This looked and tasted like a $14 dollar plate at best (seriously, no kimchi even in a Korean bowl?); I left hungry. My wife got the Thai coconut curry, $30 bucks which included an $8 up charge for chicken, in which there were maybe 8 paper thin slices. The curry part was non existent both in volume and in taste. There was barely any sauce, very bland, and it essentially tasted like unseasoned noodles and vegetables. I would gladly come back for a happy hour and enjoy their other drink options and appetizers, but I just cannot justify paying the exorbitant prices for how mediocre the food ultimately was. I wish I had taken a picture of the food to add weight to the review but it was so lackluster looking that it just was not worth photographing in the moment.

A few people were playing card games at one table, others were hanging out near the pool table, and a handful were just vibing to the music at the bar. They have an extensive beer list and some fun New Orleans-style tropical cocktails. I was happy to see an Aperol Spritz on the menu--and it was made properly, so I ended up ordering a second one. It seemed like a few friends of the bartender came in and started picking the music, which shifted into a mix of dance tracks and rap. The vibe fizzled out a bit after that, so we decided to head out. Overall, it could be fun little spot, we will check back later. If you're in the area and miss Hoots Brewery, definitely check out Bar Nola. I can only imagine how great their Mardi Gras party must be or Super Bowl day. On the other end of the building, there's a huge open space with beautiful hardwood floors and a another bar. It looks like the kind of venue where you could easily host a party with a live band--maybe they even rent it out for weddings or holiday events, though I'm not sure if it's officially part of the bar. There's also a large outdoor area with a TV and an uncovered bar, but since it was cold last night, everyone stayed inside. It seems like you can take your drinks out into the alleyway between the two buildings. Definitely a beautiful area to be when the weather is nice.
