I am an avid hiker and the hikes I do are not those walk in the woods kind. I am also a 'gym goer'. This had been going on for the past 10-11 years. At past 70 yrs, I am very physically active. The past couple of weeks I felt some pain on my left lower back and thighs. Tried to 'fix' myself with stretches, hot tub, yoga and massages. The pain subsided but came back. I woke up in a huge amount of pain from an old shoulder injury, and knew I needed help right away. I didn't want to drive anywhere because using a steering wheel seemed out of the question. I started looking online for a chiropractor, and to my surprise, Dr. Dembicer was available to come to my house. An hour later, he had arrived with the table and everything else that would be necessary. Before he actually adjusted me, he examined and evaluated my current status. He looked at my posture, watched how I get up from sitting to standing position, and watched me walk. I don't remember any other chiropractor being quite that thorough beforehand - usually they just start popping and cracking stuff pretty quick. This felt like it was a lot more tailored to me as an individual. The adjustment itself was very therapeutic and exactly what I needed. I was kind of afraid that it would hurt to get moved around in ANY way due to the pain I was in, but that wasn't the case at all! I immediately had a lot more mobility and a lot less pain. He also gave me some advice on how to stand and move to decrease future pain levels (and hopefully minimize the chance of me waking up in that state again!). I am planning on seeing him for a few routine adjustments to get back on track and will have his number on speed dial for any other emergency situation. I cannot recommend Dr. Dembicer highly enough. I've never met a chiropractor also trained in massage, so just imagine. I am a massage therapist of 25 years so I know chiropractors AND massage therapists.. Not only are his hands incredibly strong and gifted, but I've never quite had an adjustment like his. He is so thorough and determined to make you feel your absolute best. He can find things out of line I didn't even know could happen. He is a true diamond in the rough. But the best part is, he comes to you! What chiropractor does that? I threw my back out before I drove to vegas so by the time I arrived, I was already a mess and came to town to WORK, so I was desperate! Doctor Josh took charge and really is a master. He even gave me a great mini massage on my low back which was really killing me. Wow is all I can say. I predict he will be phenomenally successful in Las Vegas since the number one reason people end up in their offices is because of freaks in the bedroom. True story. I had a very sore neck and lower back, after travelling around the US for over a month. I stopped in at Las Vegas for a week, and booked 3 appointments with Dr Dembicer. Conveniently Dr Dembicer makes house calls, so each appointment was held in my hotel room. Very handy for working in with my holiday plans. I am impressed with Dr Dembicer's techniques and results. He is very attentive, precise and knows what he is doing. I am pleased to say that my neck and back pain have subsided and my range of motion in my neck has greatly improved. The sessions were in depth and thorough. A range of stretching, mobility exercises and adjustments were incorporated. Dr Dembicer also taught me some basic exercises to do while travelling. To avoid getting myself into this state again. I have had neck and back pain before, which was aggravated by travelling. My Chiro back home would have had to perform at least 6 sessions to get me back to normal. However I noticed large improvement after the first session. There is nothing worse than throwing out your back...on a weekend...a holiday weekend, no less. But we were lucky enough to find Dr. Josh through an internet search for a chiropractor who might see my husband on a weekend. We left a message and within a very short time we got a call back from doc, himself, and had an appt scheduled for a Sunday (and he was even coming to our home)! My husband had never worked with a chiropractor before and was a bit hesitant, but Dr. Josh was so kind and patient as he thoroughly explained every step as he worked, earning my husband's complete confidence in the process. He didn't rush and thankfully, he was able to give my husband (and thereby me and the kids!) some immediate relief. He also spent time showing us both proper ways to sit, lie down, and get back up in ways that put the least stress on the back. My personal problem was internal pelvic twist and lower back scoliosis arched to the right. One morning I woke up with a pain in my lower back. It hurt, but I was still able to move. But by the middle of the day (while I was at work) it had gotten worse. Severe spasms! I left work early and went to my sister's house. By the time I got there, I could barely walk. Sister's boyfriend recommended we call Dr. Josh. Best recommendation ever. He came over and diagnosed me with a displaced hip. Before he did anything, he explained what he was going to do. Dr. Dembicer has been working on me for several months now and does a great job. I am 50 years old, workout daily (P90X2 or P90X3, HIIT at gym, etc.), hike on weekends, backpack about once a month, snowboarded for the first time Christmas 2013 then again a month later, dance West Coast Swing, and generally stay extremely active. When Josh works on me I let him know what I've been doing and where I am feeling pain/stiffness and he performs his magic. After he's finished I feel MUCH better and am ready to go out and do it all again the following weekend. Josh definitely has his work cut out when he works on me. Dr. Josh has been a friend for several years. I never used his services in the past. However, I recently hurt my shoulder badly and was in severe pain. I couldn't even use my right arm. We were out of town visitors!I had about 2 degrees of movement in my neck... no amount of pillz, whiskey or CBD allowed me to move at all! I was basically crying in pain! This was a Sunday. Dr D.... came to our hotel, checked me out and found out that I had 2 ribs in neck pulled out at the neck. He did a dozen very painful adjustments...and wow did it make a difference. Was I cured? I had been having pain in my shoulder for over 4 days with my ankle bothering me from driving to Las Vegas. Upon arrival I checked yelp for a chiropractor and josh popped up I read all his reviews it seemed he had awesome reviews and would be able to help.
