After a not so great experience with the first company I chose, I went back to do some more research and found Andrea. It's been fantastic so far and I couldn't be more relieved that Bowser is in such great care. Andrea and John are quick with responding, are super accommodating with Bowser, and I love getting daily photos/updates with the GPS showing where they've walked. We currently do the VIP monthly package ($350) for 30 minutes a day, but their walks have been much longer, usually an hour or so! This is one of the things that happen when you drop off your best friend to get groomed at V.I.P. CANINE in West New York . He gets bit by another dog. The owner claims he got cut up in the crate. Logan was rushed to the vet where the vet stated it clearly was a dog bite & required stitches. Thankfully He made it through surgery. The owner of V.I.P. Eventually we started using their dog walking service as her rates were more competitive than the company we had been using previously. Ok this dog walking service is absolutely amazing! Andrea has taken the time to get to know me and my dog quite well in a very short time. Yesterday she went above and beyond and at the last minute came out in the snow (we were stuck in traffic for hours) and walked our Smiley. VIP Canine is seriously the best dog walking service I could ask for. When I moved to Union City from Brooklyn I decided to get my French bulldog pup and Andrea and her whole team were with me from the beginning. I can't tell you what a stress reliever it has been to know that they come by during the day to care for my baby boy! I got my pup at just 3 months old, and within two weeks he was fully house trained and I attribute a lot of that to Andrea and her team of superhero dog walkers who came by initially twice a day to make sure my little pup could relieve himself. Now he only needs to be walked once a day, but I know that walk is something he has to look forward to everyday while I'm away at work. I work pretty long hours (typically leaving at 8:30AM and not getting home until 7:15) so it's great to know that someone is coming by to make sure my pup gets some exercise and relief. Andrea has also been great about responding right away about my last minute requests for someone to come by at night and feed him on those unexpected work nights where I'm staying late or need to go to an event. She's also walked my boyfriend's dog a few times when his pup has been staying with me for an extended period of time and it's been absolutely the most simple and easy process. Andrea really knows and understands dogs and always has great advice for nutrition and care of my boy. She just goes above and beyond! In the early weeks, my pup came down with a very serious virus, and she was super supportive during that time and very accommodating, making sure he went on solo walks since he couldn't be around other dogs and making sure he stayed hydrated while I was a nervous wreck away at work. Andrea is the best dog sitter/groomer you will ever have. Not only did she take care of my goldendoodle but treated him with love and care. Everytime I needed her she took time to attend to my dogs needs. Her vip canine club is called vip because she can actually pick up your dog while your at work and she sends you pictures or a text just to give you updates on how your dog is doing. Best dog walkers I've ever used. We've used other walkers living all over the NYC area and our experience with VIP has been far superior to any other service we've experienced. Some of my favorite things I want to mention: The App: Their app for scheduling/checking your walks is awesome. It has a user friendly interface and makes it easy to check on the status of your walks. The walkers (who are all great!) take a pic of your pup and their walking buddies and upload it to the app after each walk. Bottom line, its just easy. Schedule the upcoming week on your phone and forget about it. They take care of the rest. The Walkers: Each walker has been great. They have been nothing but reliable, extremely friendly, and send you updates via the app at the start and end of each walk letting you know what business was taken care of, how far they walked, etc. They'll also bring the pups to the dog park on some walks and let them get some energy out! Whenever our pup sees one of his walkers on the street when I'm walking with him, he always gets so excited to see them, which is a great sign! Shoutout to John, Stephanie, Miriam, and Angelica! All are awesome. Availability and flexibility: VIP has always been EXTREMELY accommodating and flexible when it comes to our work/walk schedules. Working late? Dog Sitting: We used VIP Canine to watch our puppy Charlie for a 12-day stay, and we were very happy with how well he was treated. Andrea was in the middle of moving house and still took our business despite the inconvenience it must have caused. While we were away, Andrea emailed us to make sure we knew Charlie was doing well. My daughter god Are doesn't like having thier hairs cut or bruahed and many places usually cut or nick them , but here they didnt and all were super nice. Andrea is a canine lifesaver. When we first got my mini schnauzer puppy, we had no idea where to start house and crate training. My puppy was 9 weeks old and wreaking havoc on our home and ruling the roost. Within 2 weeks of structure and guidance and private training sessions, she was completely house broken, crate trained and responding to basic commands. What started out as a very good relationship went south quickly. While I admit that I can be overly worried at times about my cat, as a client, I believe I deserve a caring and thoughtful response to any concerns that I might have. Surprisingly, that was not the case with VIP. A quick reassuring talk or text could have easily addressed my concerns. Instead, I received an anxious and angry message stating, essentially, that I was too much trouble, this was the last time that they would care for my cat, AND that I should let them know where to drop off my keys. For my money, this was a completely inappropriate and unprofessional response. Fortunately, I was able to quickly find another service to replace them and will not look back - this despite the fact that I was already on travel (which VIP obviously knew). I am writing this review to simply caution other dog owners you may be using VIP Canine. I CAUGHT ANDREA AND HER TEAM ON VIDEO LYING about the times and length of time they took out our dog. Andrea came highly recommended, and initially, everything seemed to be perfect: she sent pictures and texts with pickup and drop off times. I grew concerned when my housekeeper told me the dog was BEING PUT BACK IN THE CRATE AFTER SHORT WALKS WITHOUT BEING OFFERED WATER. One day, I decided to compare her text message times with our building's security video tapes. I paid for two half hour walks: at noon and 4. Instead, she took him for a 20 minute walk at 11:00 and a SIX MINUTE WALK at 2:45. When I asked her how the day went (already knowing the answer), she told me he went for a 45 minute walk in the morning and spent 1 hour at the park with another dog. So they came WAY EARLY and LIED, taking him for SIX MINUTES WHEN I PAID FOR A HALF HOUR. I called Andrea and demanded our keys back letting her know that we would not need her services any longer. Of course she was very concerned about what happened and offered us free walks to keep us as clients. She said that it was a very busy day and that she thought it was Julio who took our dog out, but didn't even know who came to our house to take our dog out... Who is this Julio?? SHE TOLD US ONLY SHE AND HER HUSBAND WOULD ENTER OUR HOME. I fired her immediately. Just please be warned: We don't know what really goes on when we are not at home with our pets. We put all of our trust in people like Andrea to be professional and care for our pets. She completely let us down. read more

My husband and I had the pleasure of her service for our sweet (but slightly fear aggressive) Lily. Lily was a rescue and was attacked by a smaller dog as a puppy.
