I payed for a friend of mine in advance, I planned to give the lady her tip at the end to see how my friend felt after her services, regardless I was going to tip $5. IF YOU WANT TO COME make sure you keep in mind that the tip is 10% minimum. I gave her the $10.00 because I didn't want her to give my friend bad service for an hour. She also expected more tip at the end and I told her I had already given her 20% tip and I had to pull of my phone to show her the math. Came in for the first time today. I went to sleep the night before knowing I was getting a massage the next day as soon as I woke up. So I slept in. Just to be on the safe side, I called before I went to make sure I could be seen. It was fairly so I was assured I'd be seen. Got there a wee bit late which I totally felt bad about. I was greeted by a chirpy woman who told me to come in. I walked down a red lit hallway and was led to the very last room, next to the door that leads to the back where their storage area is. The younger woman was the one who massaged me. I forgot to catch her name. Throughout the whole session, she made sure to ask if I was ok. She checked in on the progress a few times. I thought that was nice. She found a couple knots on my back and went to town. I know the massage was great because I remember dozing off momentarily. I was handed a cup of water when I got back out front. The two women who were there were super nice. I actually ended up talking to them longer than usual. The only con is how much you can hear everything because of the thin walls. And because I was in the last room, I could hear whenever someone opened the door. Im giving this 2 stars ONLY because my masseuse, Devon (?), did a good job but it was so hard to relax when every time I'd start to feel relaxed some lady (worker) in another room kept coughing and hawking up phlegm. This is a Chinese massage parlor so if you are new to this kind of massage, it is a bit more informal than your typical Massage Envy or resort style massage. Smaller sheets and a varied amount of pressure. You just need to communicate your preferences up front. These ladies are super sweet and will attempt to accommodate you. These providers (Sophia and Lily are the best) will literally put you to sleep it is so relaxing. I go here with my wife for 90 minute massages once every 3 weeks or so. I enjoy the medium/relaxation massage and she likes the hard pressure/therapeutic massage. We both leave relaxed and satisfied. Many Chinese massage parlors have a negative association due to inappropriate or illegal activities. Made an evening appointment for the following hour and came to the establishment for the first time. I was greeted by a friendly woman at the front desk. She asked me to pay in advance and led me into my room. I appreciated that she informed me on where to put my clothes, how and what direction to lay down on the table, etc. (other places I've been to, they just usher you in the room and close the door behind you). After getting comfortable on the table, Cindy walks in and greets me in a friendly manner. The massage I received from her was very good, especially the hot stone. I gave her an extra tip since it's rare for me to find this quality of a massage at such a rock-bottom price. During the massage, she would ask me if I was ok with the pressure, which was perfect. I can be a little ticklish/sensitive on certain areas of my body to which I would flinch. When I did so, she asked, "Are you ok?" It sounded like she was a little worried that I might be feeling pain, but I assured her that I was fine, and just to continue as normal. In this way, I felt that she really cared for my comfort.
