The massage itself was terrible and felt like the guy was just on a mission to break peoples bones. Keep in mind the lady at the start was already sketchy and the vibe felt odd. I was leaving and the lady proceeds to say i can't leave because i still owe $38 from a tip. i never gave a tip and she just made up a receipt saying i owed her money. i proceeded to say i wasn't gonna pay it. She then she uses an app to translate and basically said me and my friend stole $100 from her. she threatened to call the cops and told us to wait. she never made a call to the cops she was just pretending to, she was just overall taking advantage of my age. I proceeded to call the cops myself because she wasn't letting me go. when she realized the cops were on the line she said we were free to go. Then later sends me message saying she was sorry and that she found the $100. which is obviously such a lie. trying to get money out of a 17 year old and just overall take advantage is crazy. Once the massage started, she did a kind of body scan and she worked on all my tense areas. It was a deep tissue massage that definitely hurt but was very worth it. She made sure to ask if the pressure was okay each time it got intense and I told her yes (I can handle pain), I'm sure that if I asked to go softer she would but I was just letting her do her thing and trusting the process. I wanted to see what it was like the first time since I'll be returning for more sessions. This massage was nothing like the "regular" massage you get at one of those massage parlors where they have a routine and go about the appointment. Nancy took the time to focus on areas that I didn't even know needed to be worked on and I felt like complete jelly afterwards. She even did some cupping (my first time) and used this vibrating massage pad (heaven), my nose got stuffed halfway through and she put on some eucalyptus oil to open up my airways (very thoughtful). Nancy seems very intuitive to what your body needs so I'm sure that each massage she gives is going to be individualized to your body. She was also very informative about aftercare and what my body will be experiencing the following days and she was right. I got the massage on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I was sore and felt bruised but today I feel completely fine and I'm ready to go back lol. She worked on my knots, which by the way was my entire body. She kneaded and rubbed and pushed and pulled. She took her time and really worked on me.
