The guy doing my pedicure massage kept falling asleep. The guy doing my nails didn't make them even and left my fingers a mess. Then the lady came to do my actual pedicure and I asked if she could do my ingrowns. She had no clue and left them half cut and painful. The paint job was awful and I asked them to redo. I'm a special needs homeschool mom... I don't get out much and decided after years to get my nails done. I went in and asked for SOLAR NAILS. What I got was a very fast dip set and was charged for solars. They looked awful but I didn't have the time to get them fixed. I had to go home and fix them as best I could. I'm going to have to find a better place and will NEVER go back to VIP. I was taken advantage of and what's worse was it was supposed to be a nice break for me. This used to be my main place to go to for getting dip nails. Went back to this place and was reminded quickly why I quit going here. Not only do they not care but are always in a hurry even when it was slow. Nina got my skin 3x and now I have an infected blister on the side of my finger. Over crowded and careless service. I do not recommend this place. Very unprofessional and poorly trained manicurists. I went in for a Pedicure which generally takes about an hour. Since they seemed to be busy, I asked how long the wait would be. One of the manicurists immediately put me in a chair -- where I sat for a full 2 hours and 20 minutes waiting for them to finish my Pedicure. When I arrived I showed the technician a picture of what I wanted and she said she could do it. For the next 90 minutes she worked on my pedicure while going back and forth to other customers. I was relieved when she finally started polishing my toenails -- however, she did not polish my big toe because she couldn't do the design! She told me I would have to wait for the manicurist who could do it to finish with another customer! Another 40 minute wait!! The most frustrating thing was the manicurist who finally did the design had an attitude and acted put out that she had to do it. I was more than frustrated at sitting there so long, but even more frustrated at the poor job she did and the fact that I had to pay $52.00 for a crappy pedicure! I have had this same design quite a few times over the years and have always received a beautiful pedicure with never a problem. I will never go back to VIP Nails. Beware if you do. I always leave a nice tip so this was the first time I did not leave a tip. With service such as this, I didn't feel they deserved one. Sad. I had high expectations when I went in. read more

I went there for a $20 manicure just to tidy up my nails and put a clear coat on, and the result was not what I expected. The staff kept wandering off and then coming back, and when they finally decided my nails were done, I had to point out all of the nail polish that was still all over the skin around my nails - in addition to them not looking any better than I could've done myself (and I'm terrible at nails). That alone would've made me never come back, but I witnessed other clients receiving the same indifferent and subpar treatment, and that on more expensive jobs than I was getting. Many places are closed on mondays but they are open 7 days a week with varied hours. They have a good variety of services as well. They do not care about your time!! They shift you around from person to person. It should not take over 4 hours to get your nails done. My daughter got there at 1:30ish and it is now 5:40. I called and complained why my daughter was not done yet. The lady who answered apologized and said they had too many appointments booked today. Over booking is a thing in this place. Horrible experience if I could give negative stars I would!!! Went in today with my 2 sisters for a girls day. Myself and 1 sister got pedicures and 1 sister got her nails done, or should I say got half way done nails at full price! My pedi was okay, other sister said hers was wonderful (two different techs) the sister that got nails done they kept stopping on doing her nails and helping other people. After sitting there for over 40 minutes with only getting old nails off she was still not done. Nail tech/owner kept going to help other people and then the real b.s part is nail tech then said you and your sisters were drunk when sister getting nails done started to say something about sitting there for so long and kept getting pushed aside all while we were waiting on her. First off only 1 of us had A small cup of wine, others had water, I am beyond pissed off being accused of being drunk when I was just having a fun girls day with my sisters!!!! Finally sister getting nails done said we were waiting on her to finish and she needed to get done to go, nail tech said okay $50 and you can leave. Horrible customer service and will NEVER go back!!!! So if you want to pay full price for not even 1/4 of your nails completed sure go. read more

I wrote a review about this place in 7/19. After that I did give them a second chance and was pleased, for the most part. COVID 19 happened and here we are. I made an appointment Sunday for an appointment on Monday. I was told any time because they were available. I chose 10 am. I arrived a few minutes before 10 and I was told another lady was ahead of me and she was waiting in her car. I told Nick my appointment was at 10. "It will just be a few minutes." Nick told me her appointment was at 9:30. There were already 3 people in chairs and 2 workers. The 9:30 lady came in. I asked how long it would be for me? Nick told me just a short time. I asked how long, again? He told me 10 minutes and I repeated it. Nina came from the back and put the 9:30 lady and I both in pedi chairs. Nina, Nick, and another lady were all working on other customers. That left 9:30 lady and myself waiting. At 10:10 I got up out of my chair and told Nina I was leaving. She said they didn't have enough workers and one would be there in 10 minutes. I told her again I was leaving. She got in my face and was trying to get me to stay by being aggressive and telling me they can't get people to work, etc. and I told her not to over book. I told her it was not my fault they don't have the workers and it's simple math. You schedule appointments for the number of people you have. She followed me all the way to the door rattling off stuff about COVID 19, etc. I told her they over book all the time not just during this period (what nail salon doesn't?) I told her I was done. They are violating the rules for salons to be open for people to be waiting. There are nail salons on every corner. Not going back to this one. Nina is such an unpleasant person who never smiles. My husband and I went for a pedicure and a dip for me. When we arrived at 10:30 in the morning, we were told they could do the service at the same time. We were seated and they wrapped my fingers. An hour later they my fingers were still wrapped and untouched. While they did complete the pedicures, they did not touch my nails until after. We have finally left at 12:55 pm. I have been more than 10 times at this point . It's usually myself and one or both of my daughters every time. At the beginning when they first opened I was happy because the service was great. My pedicure was great and dip was great. However, at first they took their time to take care of their customers. Nina does not listen to what the customer wants and rushes through so that she can move on to the next person as quick as possible. I have left multiple times with my cuticles cut, and unhappy about the shape and overall end result. They are more concerned with getting as many clients in and out as possible and no longer care about the final product. Reel them in when they opened to get repeat customers but once those customers kept returning the service has declined. It's unfortunate because the atmosphere is nice and it's always been clean but I spend too much money to keep leaving unhappy with the final product. Lastly, DO NOT let NINA wax your eyebrows unless you are into having the extremely thin, almost nonexistent eyebrows that you can draw on later. read more
