Having suffered a Texan summer with naked windows made me intimately understand the necessity of tints and I was keen on having them done right. A fairly extensive search led me here to VIP Tinters because (1) the quote for ceramic tints were reasonable, (2) the work would be done indoors to mitigate the possibility of dust and grime, and (3) they seemed to stand by their work and always offer re-dos for customers if there were any problems. If there were any downside, it was that it seemed a little difficult to get an appointment, but I also took that to mean that they were high in demand. I took my Civic in and they got to work right away, quoting a wait of about an hour. The small waiting room by the garage is sparse, with little else besides a lavatory and a TV, but I found it fine for the relatively short wait. Before I knew it, they were handing my keys over to my darker, cooler car. I've been told that air pockets are normal for the first few days, but I was extremely glad to see that there were absolutely no imperfections in the work from the start. The post-tinting directions are relatively simple - don't roll your windows down for a few days and avoid ammonia-based cleaning products. Having abided by both for the first week, I'm happy to report that the tints are as pristine as their first moments out of the garage. read more

Bought my Silverado in July 2022 and Buckalew Chevy salesman told me that GM had just gone up 30% on all their accessories. Then they were gonna send me to the VIP place in Conroe that apparently gives them (Buckalew) a nice little kickback. Joe and Mark at this VIP on 242 put a nice Tonneau cover, oem running boards, bug shield and mud flaps on my Silverado and tinted the two front windows. Saved me over $900 bucks from what GM and Buckalew were gonna charge. Also, over the last year a couple seals and bumpers on the tonneau cover needs to be replaced. They took care of everything! I have sent several friends there and wouldn't go anywhere else around here for pickup accessories. They will take care of you! read more

I was referred here by the dealer where I purchased the truck. Quote was given quickly and I was also scheduled in promptly. The reason for 4 stars vs 5 is that the truck is brand new, less than 20 miles on it. Drove from the dealer to them. The inside of every door was left dirty and with drip marks. They even wet the driver seat. A little more care should be taken with the car. Put plastic sheets or something. read more

This is the third time I have had work done here. First was window tint and I have some peeling. Second was an external fuel tank that had a leak at the pump fittings . The third time I purchased running boards ahead of the holiday weekend and was told I'd receive a call to set up an appointment for installation. I never received a phone call and when my wife called to set up the appointment there was confusion at first when she was told that there was no upcoming work on a truck like mine and then told that we had never set up our appointment. The appointment was made and the boards were installed today. I parked behind a truck that was parked diagonally across the parking spaces in front of the door since there was no parking on the sides of the building and I didn't want to park in front of a bay door. After a little bit of time had passed an installer came in and complained to the manager about my parking (in Spanish which is my first language even though I am white). When the installer finished he literally chucked my keys on the desk to the manager. Up to this point I knew I probably wasn't going to come back to have more work done here. When I get to my truck and step on the running board it sinks and I can tell the bolts are loose. I crawl underneath the truck and am looking to see what the problem is when the installer walks up tells me it's all good. I tell him in Spanish that the running boards are loose and he crawls under the truck and gives them a shake. Now all trucks will have some movement when you shake them but the running board is moving more than the truck is so it's loose. He gets his battery impact and you can hear and see that some of the bolts weren't fully seated after which the running board felt better when you stepped on it. The installer from start to finish attached a bad attitude to my truck all because I didn't park the truck where he wanted it instead of parking in the only available spot when I pulled into the business. I am not interested in doing business here again. read more

Great customer service, I arrived 15 min early, they took me right in after asking me a couple of question of the type of tint i would like. They were very helpful in helping me choose the best option for me, i liked that they did not pressure you for an up-sale to the best option, just told you the options and let you choose which you felt is the best for you. 45 minutes later my car was done and looks great. I called a couple of places in the area that got good reviews on Yelp! and decided this was the best. It wasn't the cheapest (about $100 more) but the reviews on here and other sites made me feel good about this place. They also had an appointment for the next day instead of next week. I arrived a few minutes after my 2pm appointment and was greeted outside. I confirmed I wanted limo on the back and legal on the front. There is a nice waiting area. There are two bathrooms in the waiting area and lots of examples of after market accessories they sell. They were all super friendly. If you check in on Yelp! you get 10% off. They have a large bay window so you can watch them work. It was cool to be able to see the action. What was really the most impressive was I was out by 2:50!! Less than an hour! Amazing!!! It may have had to do with they were hungry as they hadn't been to lunch yet. I've had other places tint my vehicles and it was several hours. So this was worth the extra money. I got the ceramic tint because it gets H-O-T in Houston. This will really cut down on the heat. I would recommend VIP Tinters Plus and will use them in the future. read more

My dads a dealer at planet Ford and this is who they use to tint the new purchased cars. I have a Hyundai Sonata and my tint was coming off so I just took it there to get it replaced they had stripped off all my old tint and had it replaced in 2 hours.
