The tickets were $40.00 for adults for unlimited drinks. We purchased our tickets thru Groupon. We received a nice discount. The weather was perfect. A nice Sunny day and they had plenty of tables and chairs to eat at. I think this was a huge success and would not hesitate to come back in the future for another event. Again very nice turnout.

The reason I prefer to come to this one is because there are more miners at this show instead of jewelers. The fairground indoor space is limited with restrooms both inside and outside. And 1 food stand open most of the time that sells burgers and hotdogs, very limited options and not the best of deal for $8 . Parking has always been an issue for this fairground hence the grass area are normally open to parking options. However, after the rain it always creates a very nasty situation. Definitely fun to visit during events, just be aware of the conditions.

Food/drinks are stadium prices (so fairly outrageous), but actually taste pretty good and there's a nice variety of options. I've seen other complaints about bathrooms, but my experience (with just the ladies rooms) is that there were several different stations and they were all reasonably clean. My only real complaint is the weather policy. I understand it's probably difficult to reschedule artists, and if it's just raining, whatever. But continuing with shows when there are tornado and flood warnings in the area is dangerous and irresponsible. At the very least, there should be an option to trade tickets for a different show when customers don't feel safe.

All told, this venue seats almost twenty thousand people. The seats were comfortable and not too tight. Thankfully, there are large ceiling fans that helped move the air under the roof. The aisles were well staffed with ushers to help you find your seats. Small purses are allowed but they are checked. There are several concession stands to the right and left of the stage. Beer, mixed drinks, soda, water and food are sold at the concession stand. The food includes hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, French fries, hot pretzels, etc There is a booth for buying merchandise. Parking is free but can be difficult. The garages are large but they are a good ways away from the stage area. Expect a long walk to get back and forth to your car and the seats The bathrooms are right next to the concession stands. The bathrooms were clean but a little on the small side. The acoustics were very good for an outside venue. The crowd was very well behaved. I rank this concert venue over the PNC Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J. The seating area is larger and more comfortable. There is better airflow as well. This a no-cash venue. I am surprised that it has only been given three starts. My wife really enjoyed this venue and recommend it

I went on a Tuesday evening and the light display opens at six I arrived at around 5:30 PM and had a little bit of a wait. They did open the display probably 15 minutes early. The line moves very quickly and we were able to see is the light show in a reasonable amount of time. I remember seeing it in the past and it was a little bit longer before they did all of the construction on the Meriwether property. Now it's pretty condensed and you weave through the actual where actual Merriweather post pavilion and lawn. Took approximately 10 minutes to go through the entire light this way. They recommended you go to the radio station to listen to their Christmas music. I found a little annoying with all of the advertisements that they had on that station so I opted to just use my Amazon music app and play Christmas music through my car radio. Overall I had a good time and my daughter enjoyed it which was the most important part. Something nice to do during Covid when you can't really be out socializing. They have a website where you can go to you and see the estimated wait time for a particular day. As it gets closer to the Christmas holiday I think the lines will continue to get longer and longer.

It was more business oriented then food oriented which tells about strong and well organized Korean diaspora in MD. Strange thing was that I did not see smoke anywhere, as all food was made in small pots and smaller grills located way back in their booths. There was a booth to learn about Korean culture (+) and dozen food vendors (Korean and non-Korean) (+), plenty stuff for small kids to jump in (+), but the eating area was too small (-). It would be great if the eating area would be doubled (that would be more enjoyable for everybody). I had octopus balls and two different kinds of fried chicken that was truly delicious. All that was completed with the Korean beer. The entertainment was a standard and good (Martial arts + classical dance + K-pop and hip hop artists). It would be even better if larger food area would have a view to the stage like it is usually done. Great festival and strong community!

The litmus test of the cost of beer ($5 for Mythos) passed (not $7 like DC). Unfortunately, a half of the fun is opening the bottle and having it there, but at this festival it had to be poured in the plastic cup by the bar personnel. The food was good. The Greek Ladies have prepared their authentic Greek fare using recipes passed down from generation to generation and producing a menu of Greek favorites like, Moussaka, Pastitsio, Manestra, and Spanakopita as well as succulent Greek pastries such as, Baklava, Galaktobouriko, Diples and Kourambiethes. Unfortunately, the cost was sometimes not justified - $4 for a small hand of the french fries is a lot - even it is "for the church." The picture shows two portions of french fries that I combined in one. The Greek sausages did not meet my expectations - yes, they were lemony and a lot of spice in them but the consistency was too soft and the final mix of taste was not impressive. Not much choice in the deserts department but the credit goes to cook for the excellent Galaktobouriko and Kataifi desserts. There was not any entertainment program going on for 60 minutes I spent there and that was a big downside, where on the other festival you have either bigger market (Bethesda) or non-stop entertainment (Annapolis). The average crowd was mostly retirees but never the less more diverse then at many other festivals. There is no entrance fee and the parking is free.

These working dogs dart around like lightning, guiding sheep through courses. It's amazing and charming. And we love the live music on two stages, one sponsored by the Common Ground On The Hill. Among the variety of performances, we heard the Walt Michaels & Co. band, playing folk, bluegrass, and old-time Southern Appalachian music. Really fun to see. The Sheep & Wool Festival had craft and skill demonstrations, competitions, classes and seminars, and many of the represented farms and ranches were happy to engage in conversations in the barns and tents. There were food booths and scheduled meals, including a focus on leg of lamb sandwiches, lamb specialties such as chops, burgers and ground lamb, sausages, kabob cubes, and sheep cheese, goat cheese, and honey. We were not overly exploratory, but we did bring home several soft cheeses. You can still find their annual catalog online with the festival's programs and participants, spinning wheels, looms, animal-care equipment and supplies, fiber and crafts including other farmed animals (alpaca, angora, llama, mohair, yak, ...), wax and lanolin. There's pointers to related organizations and businesses, and mention of many similar upcoming events, including nearby musical and cultural events in May and June-July by the Common Ground On The Hill Maryland Folklife Center. There are just as many food vendors as a county fair. And the cheese / butcher building was great. Lots of cheese samples and price point was affordable. We also liked the market place and bought so many plants for the garden! A must visit if you love county fairs!
