First I highly recommend that you purchase tickets in advance because this place is popular. Tried to go at the last minute one weekend and tickets were sold out on Saturday and Sunday. Ended up having to purchase tickets a week in advance. There is lots of parking on site. There is a lot to do outside of the corn maze itself. There were pony rides, zip lines, slides, swings, a hayride and more. The corn maze was a lot of fun because there are locations in the maze that you have to find and you use an app on your phone to track your progress. They have food trucks there and my daughter and I enjoy our guilty pleasure....funnel cake!! Overall we had a great time and will definitely go again next year. read more

I think this spot is great if you have kids! There were photo opportunities, a petting zoo, horse ridding, and playground/jungle gym like structures for them to play on. My adult friend group mainly went for the corn maze, which was a little small but still fun. It took us about 25 min to do the difficult course. First, most importantly, order tickets ahead of time online- otherwise you're likely to show up to a 'sold out sign'- 'sold out' with reason, the location was a great family fall activity spot! Lots to do for all age ranges; as they offered first most the corn maze, but also lots of food options, loads of side activities -including: bounce house, swings, slingshot, zipline, petting zoo, slides, photo op sections, horse rides, and more The corn maze, in past years, was admittedly better- as this year they moved towards 'smart technology' with QR codes to find throughout the maze, unlocking 'next steps'- I far preferred the previous years 'find the billboard' or 'secret post with a code'-kept the family engaged without relying on technology, which was meant to be the perk on an outside fall day. We got some apple cider donuts-well priced, well sized, freshly made. They also had a pizza truck, general food (burgers, fries, hot dog) truck, funnel cakes, cider, and lemonade. The side activities were a blast for our 15month old- she could partake in most of them (adjusted to her age level) Parking was a bit of a nightmare, but they did have youth directing the parking lot- I suppose if they aren't old enough to drive that explains why they didn't understand parking concepts haha Overall, this was our second year attending, we enjoyed our experience. What an amazing experience! I have never ever ever in my life been to a corn maze. I have always wanted to go, but I have bougie friends who think this is too dirty. I finally found An amazing group of people who didn't mind going to an old farm and riding on tractors, eating funnel cake, and getting lost in a cornfield! I had a great time and I ate everything from the concession stand except for the $30 pizza. That's where I draw the line. $8-$10 funnel cake is okay and $6 lemonade, but that pizza was not worth the price. I enjoyed everything and I had a great time. I honestly felt like a kid again and I almost forgot we were in the middle of a pandemic. They had so many things for kids and although I didn't make it to the petting zoo ( I draw the line at farm animals) I hear it is very nice and well maintained. On the way out they sell pumpkins by the pound and they are very friendly. Parking is hit or miss but I found a sport up close. It's all grass and dirt parking so bring your big boy toys! read more

I should preface this by noting that we visited during the pandemic (first weekend in October 2020). That being said, there was ZERO social distancing being enforced anywhere, almost no hand sanitizer (certainly not well advertised), and no enforcing of their own mandatory mask policy. Fortunately, most of the patrons were better behaved, but there were still the odd families (yes, entire FAMILIES) refusing to wear masks. I swear if I get COVID... Anyway, petri-dish issues aside, how was the maze? Well, the maize maze (sorry) was decent enough. I've been to some iffy corn mazes before, but this one was nice. There are two paths for two difficulty levels. We had our kid (4yo) with us, so we chose the lighter one. Even so, there wasn't much in the way of directions about it. Still, pretty easy to navigate all the same. I feel like the staff are overworked there. You could just read 'tired' or 'hurried' on their faces. I don't think they were staffed up for the crowd, which was clearly made up of RenFest regulars seeking some form of early-Halloween-esque amusement. Thing is, there really isn't any comparison. Despite the beautiful Fall day, it was hot. There's zero shade (since you're basically in a field), so you're kind of in direct sunlight the entire time. Refreshments? Yeah, not so much. $5 lemonades that did not taste like freshly squeezed (coming out of giant green bins... yikes). $5 also buys you a "Witch's Brew!" Don't get too excited... it's cream soda with butterscotch flavoring (I think) and a whipped foam topping. We didn't even try the food, aside from cotton candy (because what's a fair without some cotton candy?!). Pizza by the box? Okay, I guess that makes sense if you have your family there (like most people did). But, there wasn't much else. They could use more food and beverage vendors in the worst way. But, again, the games and attractions were horribly monitored (line-cutting was rampant), no sanitation was happening, and it was ghastly attractions like "the broken down car that your kids can play on" and "giant tires that we've attached a slide to and also added gravel" and who can forget "barely functioning slingshots with again zero oversight by the staff!" I can hear you say, "Come on, man... what do you expect for the price?" Honestly, more than we got. The hayride was scary as heck. The driver kept looking back to make sure we were still attached! Bumpy is one thing... crash test dummies would fare better than we did, though. Yeesh. So, if you're looking for a family-friendly event, it's okay for what it is. I love this time of year, so with other major autumnal attractions having to shutter due to COVID, this was an okay alternative. Honestly, though, I don't see us returning in the future. I did not feel valued as a human being there, except by the staff itself. For instance, the folks running the pony ride were outstanding! By the way, this is a ticketed extra item, but it was a lot of fun if your kid likes ponies. Great staff there. Oh, speaking of staff, I probably shouldn't say they were ALL great. At one of the beverage stands, two guys were plotting how to share one's phone number with another staff member... by faking the recognition chits they offer for good service! And what were they not doing? Attending to customers. Sad... Well, like I said, one-and-done. If you decide to go, for heaven's sake, BRING HAND SANITIZER AND WIPES! Police your kids, because they sure won't (not that it's technically their job). And watch out for rampant unattended children and teenagers. read more

it's got everything you're looking for when attending a fall festival: Fun Maze. Convenient Location. Friendly Staff. Food/Snack options. the BEST Kettle Corn i've ever had. plus, they do this thing with a WHOLE slice of cheesecake on a stick and it's dipped in chocolate. it's a meal and it's incredibly delish. We got lucky last weekend b/c the weather was perfect, but what really made it amazing was that it was well staffed and organized and everyone seemed to enjoy making it a festival like atmosphere. read more

So many activities to keep the kids entertained! There are at least 10 different things for the kids to do not even including the cornmaze. Good value for the admission price. Food options are good too with a lot of carnival-type treats (deep-fried PB&J!) and I had a pulled pork sandwich which was one of the best I've ever had. read more

The maze was great but I missed out on the qr scanning stuff, but it was my fault since I had seen the sign but chose to ignore it. The food was good. They should have more bubbles sections though! We had so much fun at the MD corn maze on opening day- the weather was perfect too! Everyone was wearing masks & sanitizer was available at multiple locations - we appreciated it due to the concern of the pandemic and this being our first outing in months. The corn maze was challenging but not overwhelming- the young lady working the corn maze entrance did a great job explaining it (all ages) & ensured everyone was wearing a mask- thank you! Although advertised in this manner and we were given a map with clues from Harry Potter, the maze this year does NOT have a Harry Potter theme. It is Haloween movie-themed. We would not have gone here had we known this. However, there are lots of other activities that were Harry-Potter themed and we ended up having fun. It was just not as advertised. read more

Yikes. We went in early afternoon and social distancing was non-existent. You have to reserve a visit in advance but there were undeniably way too many people at this cornmaze ignoring general COVID principles including staff members serving food without masks. The Harry Potter theme while amusing was not well executed. The clues given on our map had Harry Potter questions entirely unrelated to the clues in the cornmaze. There were also swaths of bees circling our heads and my magic spells failed to cast them away. read more

They said they were enforcing social distancing but other than letting people into the maze there were no staff at any of the activities and all the "games/activities" were very close together. It also felt like there were A lot of people allowed in. The Harry Potter theme wasn't terribly prevalent and the maze had no indicators or clues if you were going the right way, but apparently that was the mystique. It was a little...sloppy? People had seemingly gone through sections in the maze they shouldn't have which have created "paths" they shouldn't have. It caused us to go from trivia question 4 to 8...all of the activities are for very young kids, outside of maybe the hayride. There are other mazes which cater to kids of all ages. read more

IF YOURE LOOKING TO BOOK A BIRTHDAY PARTY HERE - DONT! EXTREMELY OVERPRICED!! I will be the first to admit that I did not attend MD Corn Maze before booking a birthday party - we were limited to "farm" locations for a November birthday and I had heard so many great things about this place we decided to just give it a try - HUGE Disappointment to say the very least. I spent about $650 for a small grouping of picnic tables and that was literally all that was included. I had to pay an additional $6 per kid to ride a pony - there wasn't even a trash can supplied! Not 1 single person asked if we needed any kind of assistance - Pricing per person was MORE expensive than General admission and this was considered to be "off-season". Clearly all adults were there specifically for a childs birthday - I shouldnt have had to pay for them to stand around... I have sent an email and never heard back from them. Most definitely visit for a fun family experience but not to host your Childs birthday! read more
