He said it was cooked perfectly, which is something even many chain restaurants struggle to get right. What really stood out was the atmosphere. The service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant has that local, family-run feel that immediately makes you comfortable. As a retired Marine family, we also appreciated the Marine Corps traditions and military pride displayed throughout the restaurant. Great food, great service, great conversation, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in the area. Highly recommend!

No greeting and I wasn't offered assistance despite the fact I was aimlessly walking around. The store isn't huge but does have a big selection. To me the prices seemed higher than the liquor stores near me. I will say I saw several promotions throughout the store, several that had a free mini bottle attached. (Which I never see in DC / MOCO) I was impressed with the mini bottle section and the prices were spot on in that department. I didn't end up buying anything since I could get most of it cheaper where I live- but that doesn't mean this isn't a good stop if you're in a jam.

Unfortunately, the first free sample lady was not friendly and rude and sassy towards us. However, every other employee we interacted with went above and beyond to be friendly and transform our experience from a trip to the store into a trip to remember! Trader Joe's hires many excellent employees who are great at their job. Spacious aisles and great selection of local and international cuisine at a great price. It's also near an Aldi, Panera, and other great stops to go after your visit!
