During a recent Parental…read moreAttachment Assessment, a service usually requested by FCS/CAS which she seems to have chosen as her "bread and butter", I was initially optimistic that her professionalism would be evident in her report. After receiving her conclusions, it was blatantly obvious that she purposely tailored her report and observations to favour the result that FCS/CAS wanted. She reported things I had told her incorrectly and "quoted" them, completely ignored concerns that I had raised about others in the study, and in doing so proved that she was not using her training to provide an informative OR honest review, but simply writing a report that was "expected of her". It is full of conflicting statements, lies, and when read by anyone with even a hint of common sense, it is obvious that she chose not to report truthfully. It is not only my information she reported incorrectly, but at least three, and she takes the word of people she concluded were "borderline, and well below average" as truth compared to people she concluded were "superior, and Highly Above Average". (I was reported mostly fairly in a personal assessment, with a few mistakes), but even though I warned her that where these particular children were was extremely dangerous to their physical and mental well being, she indicated they were best off there... I have no desire for these children as they are not mine, but I definitely care for their safety. In conclusion, Dr. Moncion will write obvious lies, conflicting statements, and generally make herself look like an uneducated fool, on top of the fact that she obviously cares more about maintaining a government contract (paycheck), than the well-being of children!! If you need a Parental Attachment Assessment, DO NOT use her if you love the children involved or care at all what happens to them! I will be looking to have her license removed, and suing her civilly, as I would hope anyone else would do with people who abuse such a powerful position!

Referrals are fairly easy to get from her, and her nurses on staff are lovely. Getting an appointment quickly is sometimes very difficult given that she has so many clients, but it's worth the wait if you can handle it.
