My final day here in Lawton, so I had to try one more coffee shop. I had trouble finding this coffee shop, but I'm so glad I did. For me the coffee shop is a bit hidden. Viridian is uniquely inside a building sharing an open space with a pharmacy. The young lady who was the barista was very helpful & friendly. She guided me to an Apple Pie latte. The drink was excellent! If I lived here I'd for sure return to try their other flavors. They have a huge number of flavors, so deciding can be difficult. Great coffee experience. read more

So I just wanted to comment to say make sure you check what milk the customer said because I am severely lactose intolerant and this is the 3rd time i've received Whole milk instead if an alternative. i ended up at work before seeing the mistake and since they have never handed me a receipt I dont know if they would honor me even taking it back. This coffee shop is a local gem. I'm from out of town and I always love trying out local places because they just hit you different than the average chain coffee shop. When I went inside I was immediately struck by how large this shop was. It has large tables which is perfect for studying or working. I also absolutely loved the rustic country vibes of this place. It was too perfect ! I just got a standard caramel macchiato which was delicious, not too sweet - just right. I appreciate that I could taste the quality of the coffee. My brother got a caramel frappe which was also delicious but very sweet - definitely a drink for someone with a sweet tooth. Still delicious though and worth it. I loved how nice the workers were and how quickly we got served. They had a ton of baristas working and they had a system so multiple drinks were being worked on at once. They also had a drive thru which was impressive for a local coffee shop! Made it even more impressive that they were able to get our drinks out in a timely manner. read more

Viridian Coffee is amazing! From the moment you step in the door they are friendly and know their stuff about coffee. The craftsmanship with their brews is fantastic and the depth of flavor in their locally roasted beans is a joy to have every morning. If your not a coffee drinking I would suggest their hot chocolate, frozen lemonade or their frozen hot chocolate. Don't even get me started on their bakery items! read more

I really like this coffee shop. They are very organized & the location is great. The plaza this shop is located in is a lot nicer than the rest of lawton. I have noticed close to Ulta is nice & Target is nice. This shopping center is the "hole in the wall" that is nice. My husband ordered a medium sized Mocha & I ordered the Kids size Hot cocoa. I really wasn't in the mood for coffee that day. I very much did enjoy my beverage it was actually quite tasty. My husbands drink was pretty good too. Very strong. One of my favorite things about this coffee shop is that they INDIVIDUALLY package the pastries. I hate when I go into a Starbucks, and immediately get turned off by seeing flies inside the food container. It's useless. The barista also told me that the pastries just arrived there that morning which is nice to hear. Glad they don't serve old dried up pastries. I enjoy the decor of this coffee shop it is quite pleasing to the eye. I also admire that they sell small items around the store. Candles, hand/body soap & a small candy Kiosk. They also have a Pharmacy. I would definitely come back here if I had the chance to. Maybe in the future when I move back. read more

Great friendly service. I usually get a latte, much better tasting than Starbucks. Their Chai Tea latte is also excellent.

How do I start this? I've had coffee all over the world; well ok, maybe not the whole world. If there are 194 countries in the world I've had coffee in 7% of the world. Being in Lawton, OK I needed coffee. I'll go to the big green franchise if I can't find anywhere else or if I'm in a hurry , but I prefer a local place. Veridian Coffee Co looked good, good reviews, so that's where I went. Ordered a quad cappuccino. The barista (say it slow, feel it roll off your tongue) asked me if I had ever had their cappuccino? I told him I had not. He says "we make it the traditional way." And lifted a small 8 ounce cup. I smiled and said "that's exactly how I like it. Thank you for asking." I went back the next morning and the same guy says "good morning Kerry." Next time I'm in Lawton I'll definitely go back. So, if you want to visit a real coffee shop, go to Veridian. Oh, they have really good scones and they welcomed my travel companion. Even offered her a free drink. I like this place. read more

The coffee is Pretty good and the ladies working there are really cool but the A-hole guy running the place gets a 1 star from me.. treated me like my money wasn't good enough and gave the guy that ordered AFTER me my drink since we ordered the same thing and it was his buddy..we all noticed what he did being that the lady was going to hand me my drink but he said No" give that to him" ( his friend)..I didn't say anything but it made me feel uncomfortable and not welcomed.. he made an OVER THE TOP effort to be super friendly to everyone that came in before and after me, great eye contact with warm welcomes and "have a blessed day" goodbyes .. he not once looked my way or acknowledged me.. not that I wanted him to at all but I do expect to be treated like the rest of the customers...these little low level racist acts usually don't phase me..but this weighed on me for a couple days.. one love read more
