This coffee shop is a local gem. I'm from out of town and I always love trying out local places because they just hit you different than the average chain coffee shop. When I went inside I was immediately struck by how large this shop was. It has large tables which is perfect for studying or working. I also absolutely loved the rustic country vibes of this place. It was too perfect ! I just got a standard caramel macchiato which was delicious, not too sweet - just right. I appreciate that I could taste the quality of the coffee. My brother got a caramel frappe which was also delicious but very sweet - definitely a drink for someone with a sweet tooth. Still delicious though and worth it. I loved how nice the workers were and how quickly we got served. They had a ton of baristas working and they had a system so multiple drinks were being worked on at once. They also had a drive thru which was impressive for a local coffee shop! Made it even more impressive that they were able to get our drinks out in a timely manner.

Visiting Oklahoma and was recommended to this coffee shop. Ben was the one helping us out and he was amazing ! So friendly and knew a lot about coffee! I had the pumpkin spice blended drink with a little extra pumpkin flavoring, way better than other pumpkin spice drinks . By far the best I've had in a long time.

How do I start this? I've had coffee all over the world; well ok, maybe not the whole world. If there are 194 countries in the world I've had coffee in 7% of the world. Being in Lawton, OK I needed coffee. I'll go to the big green franchise if I can't find anywhere else or if I'm in a hurry , but I prefer a local place. Veridian Coffee Co looked good, good reviews, so that's where I went. Ordered a quad cappuccino. The barista (say it slow, feel it roll off your tongue) asked me if I had ever had their cappuccino? I told him I had not. He says "we make it the traditional way." And lifted a small 8 ounce cup. I smiled and said "that's exactly how I like it. Thank you for asking." I went back the next morning and the same guy says "good morning Kerry." Next time I'm in Lawton I'll definitely go back. So, if you want to visit a real coffee shop, go to Veridian. Oh, they have really good scones and they welcomed my travel companion. Even offered her a free drink. I like this place.

Great friendly service. I usually get a latte, much better tasting than Starbucks. Their Chai Tea latte is also excellent.

Great place! The cowboy blend coffee is fantastic and so was the pumpkin spice latte. The baristas were very friendly too.

I found out about The Spot when a girl's night craft event they're hosting this Friday popped up on…read moremy FB. So I figured I'd stop in for lunch and see what these teas and shakes were all about. Small little corner shop located on Ferris between Cache and Sill, right beside the old theater. Exterior isn't flashy, just white sign on the curb out front and a decal on the door. Inside is very modest , but hip decor. Bright and clean. All they have are protein shakes, "teas", and a couple other high protein type drinks/snacks. I'm not really hip with the Herbalife stuff, but I guess that's the line they use. So I got a combo for a shake and a "tea". I keep saying "tea" because it definitely didn't taste anything like tea. But they use herbal tea extract then add in the healthy stuff (I'm assuming it is healthy but like I said, I dont know anything about Herbalife..) The teas come in levels (1-3) based on what additions go in. (I posted pics of the menu, the descriptions are there.) I went with a Level 2 Freedom tea. I'm not really sure what was in it or what flavor it was.. but it was tasty. Dark reddish on the bottom layered with something blue on top. And it was slightly fizzy, like a sparkling something. The shake was a strawberry cheesecake flavor. It had the classic slightly gritty/chalkiness typical of protein shakes, but the flavor was spot on. I had absolutely no trouble swallowing down every bit of it. That's all I had for lunch today. For just $11 I was completely satisfied with no hunger cravings until dinner time. And no after lunch laziness either! I was energized the rest of the day! It's so easy and convenient and feels so much healthier than a fast food drive thru. It's probably my new lunch time go-to.
