We had planned on buying several bouquets of flowers from a farmer's market in La Crosse which we would have had to cut and arrange, but I am so glad we met Faith instead! Faith came over to the barn to plan what we needed and what time to deliver. She cut the flowers fresh from her garden the morning of the wedding, made at least 30 beautiful arrangements, and delivered them to the barn. We got so many compliments on how they turned out and had gorgeous flowers for about two weeks following the wedding. I would absolutely recommend her!

The half share is more than enough for one (maybe two). Thus far, I love it. The vegetables are as fresh as can be and I get to try all sorts of different vegetables. Who knew I would like kale and Swiss chard so much? Kohlrabi? Different heirloom veggies? It definitely makes cooking every week a lot more fun when you get to experiment. i wanted to chime in to address some of the poor reviews that sweet earth has gotten. i have had a…read moreshare with sweet earth for 2 years now, and it has been on the whole really great. the most important thing to me is the quality of the produce--and it is fantastic. everything is fresh and perfectly ripe, and renee grows heirloom varieties of cabbage, peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, etc.--she chooses varietals for their excellent flavor and it pays off. there is also a great deal of variety throughout the year--radishes, garlic and onions, greens, potatoes, melon, many kinds of squash, even fun stuff like dill blossoms, concord grapes, and indian corn. seriously, everything is delicious. my fiancee never liked cucumber or cabbage until we started getting them from sweet earth. it has changed his--and my--relationship to vegetables! yes, they have have truck problems that prevented delivery, but the few times it happened over two years, renee always emailed with the information and packed the shares extra full the next week. and yes, this year deliveries did not start until july, but it is late november now and we are still receiving shares. last year they started in june. it just depends on weather and growing conditions, which are not really predictable! all told, i am happy to support this farm!
