This salon is 5 minutes from my house and I generally go here 4-5 times a year for a pedicure and sometimes manicure. Unfortunately today I got stuck with a new lady who clearly does not like her job. She gave me a speedy pedicure with no attention what so ever to dry or rough skin and left sloppy blue polish around many of my toes. She seemed to not understand that we all like to leave the salon with pretty polish and smooth feet. As for my manicure I had to remove the polish the moment I got home as it was way too thick and I needed to reshape my nails after her hatchet file job. I will never go back here again. Ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing self care treat. read more

Out of a time crunch to get my nails done before an event, I ended up at this nail salon. The place was not that busy so I knew I could get in and out relatively quickly. I was seated right away and a nail technician was able to work on my nails. A new nail file was used. My tech was chatty with me in English as well as with her coworkers in Vietnamese. She knew what she was doing technique wise very well. No short cuts there. At the end of the service, she finished off my nails with oil from container with a brush dipped in it. That part I would have preferred oil from a squeeze bottle instead for hygienic reasons. My tech was great but I question the cleanliness of the equipment they are using. There are better and more hygienic ways of doing manicures. 3.5 stars because my nails look great, and my nail technician was friendly and thorough with detail. This place lost 1.5 stars because I am not sure how clean this place is with the nail equipment. Prices are comparable to other similar nail salons. $40 for my shellac French manicure. Ambiance is a bit dated. read more

This place is horrible. The only reason I went there is because I received a gift card from a long time ago. They use the same 'pedicure' utensils on all customers!! Gross. Nail file, brushes, even skin scrapers. They are not clean and shared amongst customers. The 'spa' experience was difficult to enjoy at just a dirty place. The hot water to fill the bowl to put my feet in was yellow and didn't run properly. The girl was clearly rushing and half did everything. Now, currently waiting for my feet to dry they don't have dryers to help dry my toes. read more

I have been going to Vision Nails since 2007 and have been very happy with the price and service. I have had waxing, acrylic nails and pedicures. On Thursday I had a deluxe pedicure and really enjoyed it. I've booked a massage and facial for Saturday and will let you know what I think of that. I have to say that they do clean & sterilize their tools & equipment. I've never had a problem in all the years I've been going. Something shady about this place, they consistently tell you to pay cash and say their machine is down. Wife been here and they don't properly do nails. Another thing is they overcharge you and pretend they haven't changed the prices on the board. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I had my 1st visit today. I found the people to be very friendly. They have Asian ways when it comes to the money park, but the overall experience was good. I plan on going back. I had a eyebrow tint and waxing done. The price was 25.00, a whole 15 dollars cheaper than going to the mall. Considering I am on pension !5 dollars is a lot of money. There other prices seemed reasonable as well. The lady doing the service, kim, had a very pleasing way about her, and I felt very comfortable and relaxed. I've had a few manicures and pedicures at this nail shop and I noticed the instruments for manicures and pedicures are not taken out of the sterilizer fresh for each client. Nail files are shared with everyone else; as are scrubbers for calluses and other instruments. If an instrument is dropped on the floor it is just rinsed in water and then it is continued to be used on the client. I have never seen anyone properly clean out the basin after a pedicure before someone else uses that same basin, which doesn't mean they don't do it - I have never seen it. With the way they treat the manicure instruments I would imagine the basins area treated in the same manner, just my opinion though. I won't be going back to this nail shop anymore because I am do not care to catch a fungus or whatever. Today was the last test to see if this place can get its act together and it did not. Professionally it is disrespectul and rude to keep a client with a booked appointment waiting a 1/2 hour - never mind all the rest about cleanliness etc ... I have girlfriends who have complained of the same issues with this nail shop and they go elsewhere now. I will also. I cannot honestly recommend this place. read more

I beg you do not go here and waste your time and money! This nail place has the absolute worst service the place is dirty and the workers are such cows! I went there with my little girl to treat her to a pedicure and they said they would be willing to do it and charge us money for it, but while she was having it done the nail tech was getting SO mad at her for being excited! They had no problem taking full price for her little feet but they acting like a bunch of bitches. They speak to only each other and when it's time to pay and give a tip then it's all "okay hunnay" They use their finger nails to push down your cuticles, and it's disgusting and it hurts. I dropped in to this salon for a full set of acrylic nails. The girl said it would be a 10 minute wait, which of course was actually 20. When the nail tech (who turned out to be the manager) came out of the facial room in the back, she started on my nails. I mentioned to her that I had to pick up my husband at noon (1 hour away). She said no problem. Throughout the appointment, she got up and went to the back room to finish the facial client who was having a service in there. Meanwhile another customer came in and to my shock, they told her to have a seat, they'd be 10 minutes! At that moment, there were 6 customers actively having services and 3 staff. They couldn't handle the customers they had, let alone starting on new ones! At 11.50 it was clear I was no where near finishing on time (as my nail tech was doing 2 other clients simultaneously) and I said to the manager "I'm not going to be finished in time to pick up my husband. Can you give me a discount on the work you've done and I'll come back to have it finished later today". To my utter shock she said "No".!! Not wanting to barter over $10 in front of a room full of people, I paid the money and left, with a set of nails that was not filed, buffed or polished. I left the salon very disappointed. I have been having my nails done for years, and understand that these types of salons try and get as many clients in as they can. But to refuse a discount on a service that was CLEARLY not worth full price was the worst customer service I've had. And to top it off, I noticed as I was driving that my ring finger nail was bleeding where, in her frantic rush, the tech had cut me. Would highly recommend NOT going to this salon. The Manager is very bossy, and went on and on about my thin nails, relating that I should go to see a physician which I found very insulting. My nails just need a break from using nail polish and gel nails and applying appropriate nail growth oil found in health food stores. read more

Been here twice - both bad experiences. I got my nails done and they tried to lie and tell me they didn't have real gel only "solar gel" (which is basically acrylic) .. then I spotted it on the counter and then they said at first they don't have time for gel nails then afterwards decided they could. I feel they could have been honest from the begining and said that there wasn't enough time booked off in my appointment for gel nails. Took 2 hours for a fill where I do clear, not even white tips because I like to paint my nails. They also passed me around to 3 different girls to work on my nails so I had to keep moving stations. I went back for a pedicure 6 months later before a trip and I had a fake toe nail put on due to a crack in my nail to keep it from breaking.. took an hour and 45 mins and she made the fake toe nail twice the size as my normal one... and it cost $70 in total for the pedicure. Vision nails is awsome I will not go anywhere else for nails, eyebrows and pedicures. The highly skilled nail tecks make art on my nails. I threw away my tweezers, only Kim does them. They use high end products, the salon is clean and the service rocks!!! Great prices too. read more

Worst mani pedi I have ever had. They scraped the skin off my feet so much it is sore now. My fingernails are all crooked and she took so much in off,the sides of 4 of my fingernails and my big toe it is red and super sore :( every nail looks diffrent and uneven. It looks pathetic. The lady filled the coffee maker with the hose from the foot soaker tub... gross!!!!!! Also none of the utensils were steralized! The worst is the bottom of my foot. It is jagged because they didnt even out the hunks of skin they cut off and its so incredibly sore!! Dont go here!!!!!!!! read more

The prices are more than reasonable for the superior level of service. I recommend Visions to my friends. Came here for a pedi a couple days ago. To begin with, staff was rude.I asked if I could pick a polish color while I waited and the reply was "as long as u keep the polish in order".I shouldve left then but my mistake. I came straight from wrk so I didnt have my flipflops. A staff member was very pushy in trying to sell me cheap dollar store flipflops for $10 more. I asked how long id have to wait if I didnt buy the flipflops and just let it airdry, she said 30mins.I said id wait. She came out with a dryer and all of a sudden 30mins turned to 10 mins. Why lie for a sale? Too bad for this establishment, they will lose business because they have no customer service skills. I also had to wait a while to get served. Do not go here! read more
