Attentive. No problems. Had the beef sliders with fries. Sliders are sliders so they are small. You get two. They're cooked well done and needed something to make them less dry. Ketchup. Fries are the thick kind. Steak fries. Really good. Very salty. No Newcastle beer which was disappointing. Especially given the sign outside says "Newcastle" beer which made me want it. Oh well.

The pub has a really cool vibe, but it became extremely loud as more people came in. Unfortunately, it got to the point where we couldn't even hear each other to have a conversation. We had planned to order dessert, but decided to leave instead--the noise level was just too much, and it gave me a bit of a headache.

I then cut me a piece and proceeded to eat. WOW! Talk about a great tasting vegan piece of steak! I actually told my wife "babe I think they made a mistake and put a real piece of steak in my meal. I was so taken back by the taste of this steak. I offered my daughter a piece and when she ate it she burst my bubble and said she could tell it wasn't real. As a meat eater she has keen taste of real meat. I on the other hand would eat this chunk vegan steak in place of a real steak anytime. Horrible , disrespectful and unprofessional. I came here with my boyfriend and some friends on Aug 31st we spent about 350$ on two bottles and some drinks and they didnt even let us have our second bottle. I was harrassed by the girl in the glasses in the photo because i wasnt wearing my heels only flats . (My feets were killing me from walking around their casino all day and spending money there) When i asked where this heels only rule was in the clubs Terms and service or even on a sign outside or the website she told me "lets talk to my supervisor shall we". When i followed her to the supervisor and i asked the same question i was told "if you keep pressing this im going to asked for you and your friends to leave " by the female supervisor . I want to make it very clear i was not drunk (hence why i can recall every single detail) I also have been to manyyy high class clubs in newyork city. Ive never heard of such thing as a heels are mandatory rule. Expecially at a club that was BARELY FULL. The girl with the glasses who started all this and was yelling so much at her coworkers to get me out that veins were comming out of her neck. I also took a photo of the female supervisor who kicked us out with out us even opening the second bottle my friend brought. As you can tell the workers here are very much sarcastic and unprofessional from the male security guard waving at me in my photo. The 2nd floor was for the reception, which boasted insanely scrumptious food (I had risotto; the man, a chicken dish), and a live band. Personal and beautiful touches of the couple were strewn througout the gigantic room. The decor was just beautiful and there were two big bars, with great bartenders. Updated---Customer service at the event service is terrible, Marianne doesn't even listens to your concerns and doesn't go back in her words, as your speaking to her on the phone, she hangs up without a good bye. Terrible management skills. They had 5 stars due to shows we have attended, but now down to 2 stars due to there customer service. Who ever does there hiring must understand that there are not the only entrainment place in PA, and there management needs a communication class if they are dealing with customers.

Part of the GA issue was a non-issue as I forked out for the meet & great package so we were guaranteed to be on the rail as close as you could be. Everything in the email from the 3rd party company that handles the meet & greet stuff was all spot on: Show up at time X. Buy merch if you want before you are let in. You are let in at time X. You are given bag of swag. Band plays a single acoustic song. You line up the 1st time and the band will sign whatever and briefly talk to you about whatever you want. Art loved that I wasn't bringing the kid and that it was more that the kid brought me. You line up the 2nd time for pix with the blast furnaces in the background. This was well all executed. At time Y, the rest of crowd is let in and then you wait an hour until it's time to start except it wasn't really time to start as there was an opening act that no one seemed to know about. The show was the show. When you're that close, the sound is hard to judge. To me, it's all a sludgy mess musically although Art's vocals were, all things considered, excellent. At the end of the show the band came down to the rail and they were talking/selfie taking with everyone there. Art was beyond generous and gave my kid his setlist and a pick. Overall this was good. The staff got everyone in and out easily. Parking was a non-issue as we got there early and parked strategically to get out quickly. Art and the guys are pros-pros who know what they are doing. Another show here? Yep. Why not.

Lanes where you have to manually lift and lower the bumpers. Some people find this outdated, but I'd say that this just means this place is classic and has longevity. I had a great time bowling here with good house balls, good lanes that I could continue to practice spinning on and not be completely baffled, and seating that was not super painful. That being said, there were some technical breakdowns between our two games. Our lane wasn't resetting at one point, and at another our ball return got stuck. Both ended up being resolved, and seem to just be par for the course if you come to an older place like this that's not running full cylinder like it used to. Final upside? A lot cheaper than the city, and honestly if anyone complains about the prices, then they need to get their bar reset.

Venue Atmosphere & Layout If you're into a club-style concert vibe, this place nails it. It's basically a big black rectangle of a room in the best waywith a wide open floor that gives you a clear line of sight from almost anywhere. There's also a slightly elevated second-tier area behind the main floor with its own bar and standing space. Great if you want a little more breathing room without sacrificing the view. Bars run almost the full length of the building on both sides, which makes grabbing a drink pretty convenient (I didn't grab any this time, so can't speak to pricing). Security & Entry Here's the one thing you must plan for: entry takes time. Both times I've been here, I missed the first song of the opening band even though I arrived around 6:20 for a 7 PM show. Security is thorough but slow-moving, so if you want to see the opener or get a good spot, show up earlier than you think. Sound Quality & Experience The sound inside Archer is surprisingly good for a venue of this size. I've seen: * Magnolia Park * From Ashes to New * Set It Off * Autumn Kings * Vana * Fame On Fire And every show felt tight, loud, and balanced not the usual muddy wall of noise you get at some club venues. Lighting and production are also way better than expected. Ticket Prices & Value Another huge win: tickets are cheap. Most shows I've gone to were around $50 with fees, which is practically a miracle these days. For the level of talent they bring in, the value is incredible. Extras * Coat check available * Bathrooms clean-ish (for a concert venue, that's basically a compliment) * General admission only -- which I personally love Overall Archer Music Hall is a fantastic GA concert venue with great acoustics, solid sightlines, friendly staff, and ticket prices that don't make your wallet cry. The only downside is the entry line, but that's fixable by showing up a little earlier. I'll absolutely keep coming back. Perfect for fans of rock, alt, metalcore, pop punk, and high-energy live shows who want an intimate venue without sacrificing production quality.
