Second time bringing my brother here and no issues so far. They're really good about reminders texted us the week before and again the morning of, which I appreciate. Staff has been professional each time. Waiting area is clean and pretty spacious, and I didn't mind the wait since they had the news on. Even brought my dog SantaPaws with us he was comfortable just laying on the clean wood floors, calmly watching everyone in the office. Overall, smooth experience. read more

Horrible absolutely horrible.At first it was okay everyone was kind and nice the only problem was the price for contacts were unreasonably high,until one day I went for my appointment for an exam where I completely forgot my contacts which i needed.Yeah that was on me I apologized and asked to reschedule with the young lady at the front desk.Soon after this more elderly lady broke into our conversation and with a very harsh and rude tone told us it was unacceptable to make this mistake.I do agree it was my mistake but the contacts were already used well past their use but she kept arguing for absolutely no reason and behaved very childishly.For some reason she ran to get the approval from the lady who overlooked the glasses station where she agreed we should have brought the contacts.I understand i was wrong but there was no reason to act so rudely over a mistake where we had already agreed to reschedule I 100% believe she just want to argue with us for no reason.I ended up not rescheduling.This altercation completely ruined my experience of this establishment and i will never be coming again.She should totally get fired for her horrendous behavior.BEWARE this establishment you might come across a HYSTERIC women trying to make her day better by ruining someone else's. read more

The hours listed on the website is a total lie. They are open when they feel like it. The cost of eyeglasses is absorbent, in my case $700.00. I took off time from work on August 27, 2024, and arrived there expecting to pick up my eyeglasses, based on their hours of operation. Despite it clearly stating on the website that they would be open from 8:00 AM thru 4:00 PM, they were closed. A total waste of my time because of their incompetence. I for one will never do business with them again. I would absolutely never trust them to perform surgery on my eyes, when they don't even know when they are open. read more

called 2 days in row trying to get an appointment due to pain and swelling in eye. they never returned call 1st day so I called again as soon as they opened. at 3pm finally got a call back from a very rude individual named holly who said her next appointment was 9 days from now. I again explained this was quite painful and she said well you can go to the er if you want. absolutely no customer service or compassion at all. only reason I was considering going was they accepted my insurance. really bad business. read more

When I called for my very first appointment, I had 10 weeks of Daily Contacts remaining. I could not get an appointment for 8 weeks and thought, wow-this place must be fantastic! I was wrong. Came in for contact lenses exam, had preliminary eye tests and was then brought to exam room where I asked if I should take my contacts out. Tech says you have contacts in? Now we have to do the tests again. Proceeded then to get eye exam. Neither Tech nor doctor had my currents lenses in their computer database which are state of the art and I have been wearing for two years. They ordered my sample lenses and a week later I picked up and couldn't see. Now I am down to one week of contacts and panicking. When tweaking they took me down to a level so low I could not see, was not a "tweak". I called and tracked the deland optical gal in Daytona and she said she would order me samples asap of my original prescription which is what I wanted. Meanwhile I went on 1800contacts and ordered a years supply of what I wanted with a substantial discount. The doctors office did not offer this, even though my old doc in The Villages did. I called two working days later and asked about my samples, I also asked for a printed RX and asked them to return call to 1800contqcts to confirm my RX. Later that day I received a shipping confirmation from 1800contacts and as of this review have just received product. Please note: I have not received my sample contacts requested a week and half prior from this doctor. I had to wear a pair of contacts from 2020 for just today until I received my order. Not a word from doctors office that my samples to "tide me over" have arrived. I will never go here again read more

I have been to this office at least eight times this year. I just had cataracts removed from both of my eyes. I didnt once wait to be seen longer than 5, maybe 10 minutes. Everyone i came in contact with, from the receptionist to the surgeon where very nice and were very happy to answer my questions. Everything they had to do to prepare me for surgery was explained to me before they did it. No surprises. I have also been seen twice at their Port Orange office and i would give them 5 stars as well. read more

worse staff ever, can't make a appoint worth a damn, been going there the last two years and this is the last time i will ever go there. your appointment is a two o'clock, t you finally get in there at 2:45 then you wait another 30 minutes to 40 minutes before the doctor comes in, now you have spent 3 hours of your day just to get your eyes examined, i guess they think we seniors have nothing to do but wait around and die so why rush right, and don't dispute or say anything to the staff about being upset for waiting so long, god forbid they will get beligurate and obnoxious with you, whoever schedule they appoints need to find another job, she is terrible, every time they make a appointment they are 15 mins apart, so if the person whose appointment is in front of you starts yapping to the doctor you can kiss that time goodbye, and another thing the outside of your building and grounds is disgusting good lord clean it up not very professional to say the least. so this will be my wife and I last appointment with this so called professional vision center and so called professional and friendly ha ha yeah right staff. and i will be reporting your conduct to Humana, i will be looking for another vision care center, one that really cares about my time and my eye health. and forgot to say they screwed up my wife's prescription so we had to take two trips there in less than a week but so what Seniors time is not important right?, so be warned, and the lens in my new glasses i got fell completely out thank god it was on carpeting and not concrete, i was told the lab probably forgot to tighten the screw on the frame, like i said good quality people and workmanship. my advise find another Vision center that's what i am doing read more
