Had a great experience picking out new frames with Angela. I had a 5pm eye exam and the store closed at 6pm, but she stayed late to help me find new frames and make sure everything was taken care of. As someone in the younger working class in Naples, it can be really difficult to leave work early enough for appointments, so I was incredibly grateful for her patience and willingness to help after hours. The staff was wonderful -- I just wish the Naples Visionworks locations would return to their typical 10am-6:30pm hours like many other locations, as it would make appointments much more accessible for working people. read more

I don't know what happened to the this place. It used to be great. I needed to get 3 pairs of glasses and I already had my prescription. I arrived at the store and there were about 3 people waiting to be helped at the front desk. There was one poor man trying to help 2 people and answer the phones that were ringing off the hook. I thought he was alone and doing the best he could, so I started to look for glasses in my own. After awhile I saw a woman wearing glasses walk out from the room in no hurry what so ever. She would go to the microscope thing and look at glasses for awhile and then go back to the back room repeatedly. All the while all of us were waiting for help. Finally I went to her and asked if she can help me with my VSP insurance. She rudely said she can't right now and Steve I think will be with me shortly. I used to get excellent service and was ready to leave. I found later that the lady is Angela and she was the manager. I was shocked. She acted like she was a temporary worker. She had no interest in what was happening in the store with customers and the phones. She works as though she couldn't be bothered and couldn't care less about customers. My car wouldnt turn on after I got them so I went in and asked him if it was okay if I could leave my car till the next day but instead he offered to help jump start it without me asking! Dr. Caraballo is super smart and professional, saw my husband and me back to back, and fitted me with the best contact lens prescription I've had in years. Appointment time was at 11:30, after filling out paperwork and taking preliminary test I was asked to sit and wait or peruse the glasses. After 12:00 I asked how much longer until my appointment. Staff said they didn't know and asked me if I wanted to reschedule. So that's my only option? You can't go knock on the exam room and ask the Doctor the estimated finish time? They had no problem calling me yesterday to confirm my appointment. They couldn't call me today and tell me the Doctor was running late? We no longer have to tolerate bad customer service, there are plenty of other places to go. Canceled my appointment. read more

Staff was friendly, great selection, there is always a "sale" cough cough. My last visit was for a pair of Armani glasses and Guess Rx sunglasses. It took 14 day's for the lenses to arrive, ridiculous because this is supposedly a "about one hour" make them while you wait store. My script is easy, single vision -1.75 -2.25 55.5PD. The in house lab screwed up the PD by 3mm on one pair making them unusable and cracked a sunglasses lens on the other. I wasn't going to wait another two weeks so I cancelled the $450 order and went elsewhere. read more

In previous years, I would go to the vision works on pine ridge to get an eye exam by Dr. Henshaw and then be chased out the door by hungry salesman. I would then purchase my glasses at eyeglass world. Well this time was different. I went hunting for Dr. Henshaw since he moved stores to the one near the mall and I had full intentions to purchase my glasses at this location due to my new insurance. I still felt the overwhelming hunger from one of the sales people, but by the end of the exam I had the whole store telling me what glasses looked good and didn't look good. The lady who helped me in the beginning had to leave, but the manager Joseph finished my sale and worked with me on prices. Overall, I had a great experience and will be happy to return to this location next year considering that I still have my vision insurance. read more

Currently at the visionworks location off of pine ridge rd by airport road, they don't have that location on yelp. Me & my fiancé had a 10am and a 1030am appt. It's now 11am and we are still waiting. I cancelled my 1030am appt just now and hopefully she can be seen soon since her appt was an hour ago. Customer service does not exist with visionworks! read more

I would do zero stars if I could. I purchased their more expensive lenses with anti reflective coating. Within two months my 21 year old daughter who has been wearing glasses since she was 7 with the coating and type of lenses that is the lightest because her script is so high. Within 2 months the lenses started to scratch and coating came off. My daughter has been taking care of glasses since she was 7 and never had these issues. She was using their special cleaning supples the sales person asked her to. We thought perhaps it needed more cleaning as it became more and more blurry. By month 3 she was literally seeing glare everywhere and rainbow colors. We were nervous that it might be her vision and found out that the script was fine it was the glasses. Here we are 3 months later and $300 later and the glasses was useles!! When I spoke to the manager he was rude, kept mentioning why I didn't bring them in for them to give her new lenses. I kept saying for what? So I have to come back 2 months later, your lenses are clearly of poor quality. In addition we were able to get better quality lenses that had the coating in the inside by covering up the coating to prevent it from being scratched. He said no such thing in an arrogant know it all fashion. I stated all I want is some type of refund considering I had to spend another $200 on lenses. He continue to be unprofessional, rude and kept harping on the ridiculous stupid notion that I should have returned the glasses for another pair. Why would I do that? I don't have the time to go back and fourth when it gets scratched again a few months. He than said it was her vision and try to say the glasses she has is fine. He than said, "the ones you bought here were too"", what the h does that have to do with her vision. It just reinforces her vision isn't an issue. It was clear that I was wasting my time with him and he wasn't or didn't have the power to refund me. Either way I will never go back there it's a waste of time and money. The lenses are of extremely poor quality and their customer service is horrible. Don't waste your money go somewhere else. There are lenses with better coating that is protected so it's not exposed like the ones they have with the same price or slightly higher although the obnoxious manager tried to prove to me otherwise. The facts speaks for themselves!! So does our experiences with glasses for the last 14 years!! Terrible place! read more
