He came from basically bedridden, in his room, with no social interaction, to walking to/from meals on his walker and wanting to spend a lotta time in the living room with other residents. To me, this is a miracle. Yes, he does have a DPT come in three times a week, but if he didn't have the WILL to get up and walk to meals and living room, well, PT would have no impact. My family member feels safe, happy, and loved here at Sunrise and he prefers their meals to take out! I feel incredibly blessed and gifted. You have no idea what it is like to finally feel that I have made the very best decision for his care and happiness, and this time, I made the right decision.

With her own room and bathroom she has the privacy she wants, with the supervision she requires. Able to go out to the beautiful grounds and not worry about getting lost. Just push the button and they come and guide her home. The care givers are great at getting her out to activities and eating her meals. It is so nice she still thinks she is out to eat and needs her wallet to pay. Wonderful you can decorate with their own things to make it really their home. So glad we found them!! Giving the family the peace of mind she is taken care of .

In 6 days of being admitted to EncompassRehab, his BP wasn't checked timely, his oxygen wasn't addressed properly, his workout too vigorous and now I have the worst decision of my entire life of either ending his life support by hospice or watch him suffer, while hoping he can recover. My father's last phone call to me was of him screaming in pain and his last text I'll ever read was in the form of the word "HELP!" Neglect at its finest and I WILL know what occurred no matter what the cost... Once a brilliant intelligent resilient kind man, who as of now, has no memory of his existence and little ability to speak, think, see, move or function.
