They had a guy sing & play an accordion one time of "oldies but goodies" & it was in their activity room. And yes, we sang along!! So fun! At times, I'd bring us an "indoor picnic" (food from home) to a small dining room area for us to enjoy. My sister felt like we were visiting her in her home. I could tell that she was treated with respect and kindness. The Nursing staff & even the Welcoming Greeter Terri who has visitors sign in, knew my sister well. They make time for each resident to get to know them. I'd recommend anyone wanting their loved one needing skilled nursing care as a final residence to consider Halcyon Senior Living.

To start, the community is so inviting and really does go above and beyond to make it a wonderful place for their residents. All of the staff we have met so far have been friendly and incredibly helpful. If you have any special requests they really do accommodate them. You can tell the extra time they spend each morning getting the residents ready for the day and making sure they are well fed and entertained. She has been at other facilities where you barely see management. That is not the case here. I regularly see management out interacting with the residents and their families. They are all approachable and willing to help at the drop of a hat. We honestly can't be happier with this location and plan to keep her here as long as needed.
