Family members have been taking their pets to Evansville Veterinary Services for something nearing 30 years. When we got our puppy (Sam) in July of 2011 we realized we couldn't find better (or even equivalent) prices in the Madison metro area, so we decided to bring our little guy to the "family vet." Dr. Joyce Brown's love of animals shines through her care and she has been simply amazing. From her gentle and friendly manner during regular visits to the intense empathy she shared with us when facing a potentially fatal illness, I couldn't imagine bringing our "baby-dog" or any of our other pets to anyone else. The depth of Dr. Brown's compassion for both us and Sam, after watching him grow into a fantastic dog together over the last five years, literally brought me to tears. She's a good and amazing woman who happens to also be everything you could want in a veterinarian. In every case, Dr. Brown, Dr. Stephanie Kvalheim and the fantastic staff at EVS have worked with our needs to provide the best care possible. Dr. Brown's recommendations during the illness I mentioned took us to an equally stellar emergency veterinary office in Madison, and we knew without a doubt that we could trust anyone she recommended to have the same considerations and high-quality of care when it comes to the little creatures we share our lives with. We've occasionally considered locating a closer vet for the sake of convenience, but we simply can't bring ourselves to leave EVS for our regular small animal care. If they're convenient to you, I recommend their services 100%.

Cats hide their sickness, so we did not have any warning signs. We did not have a lot of time, but did not want to have him pass scared at the emergency vet. We were lucky enough to be able to bring him home and have Full Circle come over the same day. Carrie has the perfect demeanor and was so kind through the process. She explained what would happen and made sure we were ready to do so when the time came. While I hope to never have to call/use Full Circle again, I am very thankful that we were able to be with Milhouse at home while he passed. He was comfortable and did not need to suffer longer than necessary.

But after calling for a nail trim (last time done by a groomer there), we were charged $39.80! This is a small town in WI with a not very wealthy population. I called another vet and was told they'd charge $15. I'm done with this place. I just had our pets records switched to our new vet. If you want to overpay, give them a try. But personally--I'd rather pay a fair fee and donate the rest to a rescue or the humane society!

I really wish I would have been made aware when I purchased and had installed the system that their replacement collars were so stupidly expensive.
