But this one dish in particular had so many red peppercorns in it all I could taste for miles were red peppercorns. A floral, hot, spicy, rose-like flavor that only went away 30 minutes after I was done eating. The dish I believe was the scampi spaghetti in a light tomato cream sauce perhaps with saffron? That's only going by the menu description because all I could taste, again, were red peppercorns. The other dish I sampled, their curry chicken apple fettuccine concoction was created using what I can only describe as a Westerner's version of curry (powdered form?). Not Jamaican, not Thai, not Cambodian, Indian, Indonesian or Vietnamese. Slightly sickly sweet....heavy on something, perhaps Tumeric? At any rate, pretty much a let down for me and my traveling companion. I wish this place the very best, but along that route I suggest they really adjust the balance of their ingredients.
