I even went in and personally left a message for the doctor that was written down by the receptionist because I was having such a hard time getting my prescription and there was still no follow-up. I ended up getting my prescription filled by another clinic. There was no contact with my doctor or LVHA until my next appointment and needless to say, I was pretty bitter. It felt like a money grab to me. Like patients are no longer important after the check clears for their appointment. Las Vegas Heart Associates and Las Vegas healthcare, in general, needs an overhaul.

He also has depression which he has no medication for the depression so he is depressed! He's waited patiently for over 2 mos. to finally see Dr. Michelle Stacey and yesterday when he finally got into see her, she finds his heart rate to be 35 which is normal for him ( he's always had asymptomatic bradycardia ... all his life! ) so she does an ECG and misreads the ECG and misdiagnoses him to be in 3rd degree heart heart block ! She FAILED to simply LOOK AT HIM AND SEE HE IS NORMAL, he's walking , talking , works a job which is physically taxing... every day ... and SHE DID NOT LISTEN TO HIM when he told her ... this is my NORMAL ... then she FAILED to check his history which clearly states that he has already been worked up several times by cardiology at St Rose Hospitals for asymptomatic bradycardia and found this to be normal for for him, Plus she herself has been his Dr for several years now, & has seen him in her office previously with asymptomatic bradycardia ! Dr Michelle Stacey looked at my X-husband ( who is not dizzy and had not even one single symptom, he had no chest pain and is walking and talking and physically, HE HAS NO CARDIAC SYMPTOM ) and she told him he would " DIE IF HE DID NOT GET INTO THE AMBULANCE AND GO TO THE HOSPITAL WHERE SHE HAD A CARDIOLOGIST READY AND WAITING for him to have an EMERGENCY PACEMAKER placed in him!" She said that if he would not get in the ambulance, then he needed to sign an AMA ( Against Medical advice form ) and she would then refuse to take care of him! ) So he gets in the ambulance which takes him just blocks away to the hospital ( Siena ) where they do a complete Cardiac work up on him and find the same diagnosis that they found 3 years ago ... "asymptomatic bradycardia" And they did another ECG on him and found him to have absolutely NO HEART BLOCK , and a NORMAL bradycardia ECG ! He went back to Dr Michelle Stacey so he could get the care he's waited for now for greater than 2 months and her Nurses tell him " SHE's TOO BUSY TO SEE YOU NOW!" No Apology ! No Care ! But her people said that she'd call in some prescriptions for him... as of today... no prescriptions called in!!!! BEWARE OF THIS DOCTOR ! SHE IS A DISGRACE TO HER PROFESSION!!!

I was in need of a new primary care physician, so I ended up here on a recommendation of a friend. My first appointment with the primary care physician, I found out that they had a cardiologist next door. So, I switched cardiologists. One building with two different services. Very convenient for sure! After three visits, the doctor found out my heart was working properly. My blood pressure was being controlled by three different medications. I mostly like that Dr. Chander only sees patients in one office. The staff is friendly and helpful as well.

What I actually wanted were solutions to what we could do to aid me with natural means, lifestyle changes, and nutrients. I was doing all the right things and I became fairly educated on how blood pressure works. It did not mean that I was 100% correct but I took my personal care very seriously. A lot of patience don't listen or make any effort to change things to improve their heart issues. In the past, I have dealt with an unhealthy looking cardiologist as well as condescending ones. I did some research in Las Vegas and initially I was reluctant to go to another cardiologist because of my previous history with them. This practice had a fairly long wait for some of their on staff cardiologists, I was given the option of a practicing nurse with thorough cardiology experience. I actually was not reluctant because I had good experience with practicing nurses before. Jessica was absolutely professional and listened to me and we reviewed my history together. That day they did an EKG and everything was good with that. My next visit will be an ultrasound as well as bloodwork. So far, I have been happy, but I am cautious because of my history.
