Have been going there for 3 yrs now and it gets worse and worse. MD's leave every few months, referral dept can get things done right much less in a timely manner. This Dc I flew home from vacation with a broken leg that the ER @ Dvh said I need a STAT referral to Ortho. Took over 10days to get referral, then another 10 to see Ortho. Recently I learned my past 2 PCPs were overdosing me with medications. Even the Pharmacists never said a word about the high dosages Rx'd. This town's medical care sucks big time. I wonder if Vegas is any better at this point. All I know is Intermountain Health isn't worth anyone's time, much less considerations Stay Away for your own safety. read more

So far one of my specialist doctors dropped Intermountain Health Care and one of my referral specialists dropped them which really complicates care. It is difficult to get follow-up care with your doctor, even after a major procedure like an abnormal cardiac heart cath. I had to finally call my insurance to get them to have my doctor see me sooner. At that point I was in congestive heart failure, where I didn't make it through the walk test, and the senior clinic Nurse Practitioner diagnosed me in the senior clinic where I had an Oxygen level in the mid 80s, swelled up, and gasping for air, unable to get into see my cardiologist, who really is a very good specialist, but unavailable a lot of the time because of the incompetence of Intermountain Health Care obviously not able to handle their patient load. In early December they did a TEE procedure and broke my front dental work off and said they would address this and they never have to this day. I walked into this cardiology clinic the end of May 2025 totally healthy with a new onset of A-fib. I worked outside every day 8-10 hours a day at my age of 74 then. Nine months later at 75, I have a dead heart with a jumper cable hooked to it, an implanted clot plunger, swollen and short of breath in Congestive Heart Failure with no AV node, broken teeth, and fat. I have a really good cardiologist there if I ever get to see him. They seem to have a very hard time keeping doctors on staff there. I am on my third cardiologist, third electro cardiologist, and third primary care doctor since going to Intermountain Health Care. For a while I had no doctor assigned. The doctor I was assigned to was on paternity leave. However, he was well worth the wait. This primary doctor is excellent in all aspects. I relied on the Nurse Practitioner at the senior clinic while awaiting an available doctor. The second electro cardiologist resigned the day I went to my appointment at Warm Springs office. It was his unannounced last day. The third electro cardiologist did the pacer and ablation the next week. I had the pacemaker and ablation done in mid-January. Was to follow-up with my cardiologist in 1-2 weeks. That appointment turns out to be June 8, (6 months, still waiting). I drove to Las Vegas to Warm Springs office to see if I could get follow up any sooner and was given an appointment with a nurse practitioner on Jan 29 in Pahrump. He was efficient and caring. He saw me and insisted I see the doctor who put the pacer in regarding my questionable progress before he would intervene. I will see that cardio procedure doctor toward the end of April and then the Nurse practitioner will see me after that again. I can't get in for follow-up with my regular cardiologist at Intermountain Health care for another 2 months yet. That will make a 6 month wait after my AV node ablation and pacemaker insertion. The receptionist told me that was normal to see your cardiologist only once or twice a year. I have been going here before they opened their doors on Loop Rd and the level of care and availability of treatment is at an ALL-TIME LOW. read more

Tonight I walked into Intermountain urgent care at exactly 7:39 PM. There was no one at the counter when I came in. About a minute later the receptionist came from the back and looked at me like I was from outer space. After a few awkward seconds, she said, "May I help you?" I said yes I need to see a doctor. She said ," We have reached our patient quota for the night, sorry about that. " There was exactly ONE person in the waiting room. I told the receptionist," I thought that you were open until 8 o'clock, it is only 7:39 PM. 7:39 PM is not 8 PM. " She told me , "We will be open at 7:45 a.m in the morning." I told her that I needed to go to work in the morning. I guess that whenever you are the only urgent care in town, you can afford to blow off your patients This is just one of three incidents that I have had with Intermountain over the last two weeks. My family and I will be looking for healthcare elsewhere. For us, the 45 minute trip to Las Vegas will be worth it. read more

Why do I have to talk to three people a i oh they'll help you with appointments referrals blah blah blah spend all that time and then get transferred to a live human being and have to tell the same thing over again and then will you wait or should we call you back while I transfer this information to your provider who changes every two or three months cuz nobody stays worst place ever can't believe what's happened even before it was intermountain as soon as the place was built you kept your providers what three 6 months maybe a couple years shame I've had 10 since you opened, yet they got us cuz it's the only place in town! read more

We were really happy with the urgent care we received for our elementary schooler. It's really nice inside, lively- lots of patients waiting or interacting with staff, but with lots of staff so zero wait time to register. Once in, it took me 10 min. to fill out paperwork on my phone- they text you a link after you first show up; and we had about a 5 min. wait to be called in. Once in the exam room after all the vitals were taken, it did take a while to be seen- luckily our situation was important (ear infection), but not an emergency. If you're accustomed to getting care via your own doctor/PCP, you'll find this a long wait. If you get your care from ERs, this will probably seem a lot faster. Super nice staff, competent care providers, answered questions well, no rush. Very connected (has wifi for customers), multiple options for getting your Rx (electronically, written). Very new/well kept facilities; I would highly recommend. And Intermountain Care is known for their innovative, evidence-based approach to health care delivery- I remember reading about it during the health care debates in the late aughts. read more

I've always had good luck with the urgent care, radiology, and the blood testing areas of What is now Intermountain Health Care. One of the issues I had recently, is not typical of this facility, and the reason for my 4 star rating. When I have to stand at a desk, and not even be acknowledged, while a person behind the desk continues to ignore me? That is not cool. There wasn't a single person in the waiting area, so it's not like he couldn't have looked up, and said, hello, just one moment please. I think that Brandon has forgotten who writes his paycheck. Went to the Urgent Care at 11:30 AM for a swollen hand and I could not bend my fingers. After 2 hours, I started to get light headed due to low blood sugar levels. There is no vending machine there. I had to leave and get something to eat so I didn't pass out in the waiting room (pre-diabetic) and asked the doctor call me after he reviewed my X-ray. I told the receptionist I needed food because I was getting shakey and she said I would need to come back if my hand was broken. I told her that would be fine. The doctor never called. Still waiting for him to review my Xray 15 hours later..............very poor service. Maybe I should have passed out. read more

I went in last night to pick up a copy of a xray I had done last week then I had to go get another xray of my hip but forgot to request the copy for my Back Surgeon. So I went in to the front desk and a couple of the receptionists that are usually there the girl said that she had it ready for me and I told her I forgot about requesting the other, She told me to hold on as she headed to the back see if they are still there. She came back a little while later and said here you go! That was so nice of her to do. She had the other done without me having to wait another few days, So now I am all ready to bring to my other Dr's for my Surgery Clearance. I went to urgent care on Sunday afternoon for an ear infection. I was prescribed ear drops which I picked up from pharmacy. Used them all day and night that did not help. The next day the infection was 10x worse. I was in extreme pain. My ear was throbbing along with swollen jaw, lymph nodes, headache and neck ache. I went back to urgent care the following night and was not greeted by Dr Allen at all. She came in saying "you were here yesterday. What's going on?" I said I've been using the drops given to me but from prior experience antibiotics helped clear my ear infections. She said oral antibiotics will not help. You need to use the drops for 7 days and if it doesn't work then come back in 7 days. I told her I'm in extreme pain. I can't eat, sleep or work and the antibiotics would help tremendously from prior experience with these ear infections. She checked my ear & said yup the canal is completely closed. I said OK if the ear canal is closed how are the ear drops going to get through? She was then saying why are you arguing and being condescending? I AM A DOCTOR! Oral antibiotics will not help! I asked her then what do you suggest? She said use an ear wick. I have no idea what that is. She wrote me a prescribed paper to take the pharmacy for an ear wick. No pain medicine, no antibiotics that will actually help me! The pharmacy said they don't carry ear wick. I need to go to a medical store in Vegas. Nobody carries ear wick in pharmacy. I thought wow, doctors were supposed to listen to patients not send them off feeling worse. I've never had an experience so terrible read more

I am not happy with what they called a treatment. Three Prednisone pills for something that has lasted 14 days and counting. Then they call and ask me to do a follow up and expect me to pay another $80. If they misdiagnose allergic bronchitis as the Flu, they should be covering their mistakes. At this point how can I trust that they didn't misdiagnose on purpose to try and get a second visit. Save your money and go to the ER or Vegas. These people are NOT willing to help you. read more

I literally just went there. Waited patiently for 4 hours....YES I SAID FOUR!!!... paid cash up front because my new insurance cards arent in yet. Got called back for vitals and sent back out for another 30 min. Then they finally called me back. It wasn't an emergency (impacted toenail) so I didn't complain about the wait time. Then the "doctor" (MARCIE CAIN) came in and looked at it and said to soak it and that she "didnt have time to cut it out" and was SO rude. I explained to her I paid cash and waited 4 hours and that I was on my feet all day and that it was making it hard to walk comfortably. She said "sorry I dont have time to do it." I said well I want my money back...she looked me in my face and said she wasnt giving me my money back. HAHA boy was she wrong . I asked to speak to the supervisor who gave me the hotline to complain to and she told me she actually would take me up front to get a refund and she apologized many times, almost like she was use to having to clean up after this "doctor". This is the worst place ever. It's a corral for the cattle, herd treatment. I've been there 3 times in the last year. Every time, I fill out papers on my allergies. They include steroids and Nsaids, anti inflammatories, the first item they want to give me is a shot of steroids, it won't help my problem, just make me feel better. That's what they tell me. I refuse considering it could kill me, then they give me a prescription for Nsaids. I throw it away, cause I can't take them either. But what gets me they ask me to list my medication allergies. But no one has yet to read it. Maybe they can't read. Or it's just for the billing stuff. If there is a way to avoid going to any of those PA-C. I'll find a real doctor MD or DO. I'm not a cow. Medical treatment sure has gone to the full litter box!!!!!!! read more

I've been to their urgent care clinic twice for a sudden onset of tendinitis. I was seen immediately, even before I had completed my new patient forms on my first visit. This is a beautiful state-of-the-art facility. The doctors, nurses and medical assistants/front desk staff are amazing. Both times I was in and out in about 40 minutes, unheard of for this ex-Angeleno - I'm accustomed to spending hours in an urgent care facility with frenzied impatient staff and medical professionals. The urgent care is part of their full medical facility with general practitioners and specialists. I will be using them for all my medical needs from now on. read more

After every dr my husband and I have seen here has left for one reason or another I am told they are no longer accepting new patients.....What an absolutely poorly ran facility. I have gotten better medical care from a veterinarian honestly I have I went to urgent care on friday July 10th and I must say everything went well until it was time to get prescriptions they were supposed to be called into walmart pharmacy I waited the forty five minutes like the dr said to actually I waited a little longer then 45 minutes went to pick up prescriptions and the lady tells me that there not ready to come back in an hour so I called urgent care to see if they had called in the meds and the gal says it wS showing that it had been done on. There end walmart had not done there part so she was going to call walmart and she would call me back she didnt went back to pharmacy still nothing the call tells me to check with the drop off gal so I do she says she had just got done talking to the gal from urgent care and she didnt tell her about any prescriptions that needed to be done now I have wasted a total of 3 hours she tells me to call urgent care well they are closed now I called anyways and the recording tells me my wait time is less then 4 minutes 45 minutes later I give up now I'm really upset I dont get my meds and I have waisted the whole day I drive the 70 miles home just so I can make the trip again on mon day it really pisses me off that they say on the website that they are open on sat and sun but they aren't need to change hours on web people so noone wasts there time calling or going in to find out you are not open like website says you are the phone recording doesn't say you are closed either it just keeps saying stay on the line and someone will be with you shortly I guess that means on monday if you stay on the line your call will be answered finalymaybe I doubt it what a joke of a place urgent care is not going back there ever ever ever I'll go to vegas before i go back to this place if i could take the star away i would read more

I had a bite on my arm went in to have checked out make sure I was not having allergic reaction. First time the shot me up with steroids told me I was having an allergic reaction.. ok I'm good took the steroids and antibiotics they gave me.. thought I was done. The same location started swelling up again at the site of the bite, I went back the dr spent about 3 seconds barely looked at it and told me I had shingles, which clearly was NOT right!! Would not go here again for anything!! They don't know WTH is going on and will just throw whatever diagnosis at a person without taking the time necessary to find and try to solve the problem. This is poor health care being given by this physicians and Physician Assistants. I felt it was important for me to share my experiences. I will not be returning to this faculty. We need more facilities and we need to be able to trust that we will receive the best possible medical care that these doctors have gone to school years to give . read more

I am writing to advise you of what I perceived as very unprofessional conduct and behavior experienced with one of your providers, Dr. Leila Olivera. My mother is a patient and client of your office . She is 90 years old and speaks Spanish. On Friday October 23, 2020, she had an appointment through the clinic to see a doctor. She suffers from Congestive Heart disease and is prone to urinary tract infections. Her blood pressure often shoots up, however, usually we are able to stabilize her with her medications at home. At the time that my sister-in-law made this appointment, our mother had been experiencing her blood pressure going up into the 170's and 180's, it would stabilize with her meds and then shoot up again. My sister-in-law believed our mother might be suffering from a urinary tract infection and made the appointment. My sister-in-law does not speak Spanish and was hoping someone in the clinic would be able to interpret for her. I live in California; I am also on our mother's list as a contact relative regarding HIPPA issues. At 11 a.m. my mother called and asked if I could interpret for her via telephone since the clinic did not have anyone available to translate for her. I was immediately verbally assaulted by a woman who at first refused to identify herself, telling me in broken incomprehensible English, that she could not and would not talk to me. I was never given the opportunity to introduce myself or my purpose. My mother identified her as the doctor. This woman screeched out that she could not talk to me, that she could not tell me anything. I tried to explain that I am her eldest daughter, and that I live in California. I did not need to ask her anything about my mother's condition. I was simply making myself available to translate, which was necessary. I could hear my mother s' distressed voice telling the woman, later identified as Ms. Olivera that I was her daughter and it was okay. Listening to my mother's voice caused me concern, because she was becoming agitated and upset, which in turn causes her blood pressure to shoot up. Ms. Olivera refused to listen to the complaints my mother was expressing to me and I in turn was attempting to relay to Ms. Olivera. Between the screechy yelling of this rude woman and my poor mother attempting to express her complaints, it became impossible and chaotic to communicate with Ms. Olivera, who refused to acknowledge my presence as a translator. In order for my mother to be examined by Ms. Olivera, I explained to my mother to do her best to explain and express her ills to the doctor and decided it was best if I simply disconnected from the call. Shortly after this, maybe ten minutes my mother called me back. Ms. Olivera apparently took her blood pressure and from what my mother could express to me was instructed by the doctor (Olivera) to take her blood pressure every day and come back in two weeks! Nothing was addressed! Our mother ended up being admitted to the hospital the following day for the recurring uptick of her blood pressure and was released on Monday night. She was found to be suffering from a thyroid issue. Here is the question I have for your operation; I am on the HIPPA list. Further my mother was providing her in-person consent for me to translate and communicate with the doctor on her behalf. How is this so different from a complete stranger, say a receptionist translating for my mother? Where is HIPPA in that situation? Furthermore, the totally unprofessional conduct of this woman is beyond comprehension. She spent a total of maybe 10 minutes with my mother, did no testing, no exams. She simply took her blood pressure and instructed my mother to do this every day for one week and return. She apparently did not review her file; she made no referral(s) to her cardiologist or other specialist. Where is the compassion and empathy for an old woman who does not speak the language well enough to communicate the serious ills and pains she is experiencing? I also learned from my brother, who our mother lives with in Pahrump, that Dr. Olivera refused to speak to him later that afternoon. Dr. Olivera informed my brother that the HIPPA list had expired! Where does this happen with family members? I understand if she is in facility or has private care-takers, but we are her children, she lives with my brother. In all the years, I have never experienced this type of treatment in the care of my mother. More often than not the doctors are grateful to have a family member who is engaged and translating so that our mother receives the best care possible. This woman should be fired, based on her conduct and her own inability to communicate in a cohesive sensible manner. She cannot possibly be serving her patients well. I intend to follow-up with the complaint to YELP, and the Medical Board. read more

This was a first for me. Last time I went to the Urgent Care it was a total waste of time. But Dr Marci Kane (Lane) not sure was the kindest most caring and professional NP I think I have ever seen in Pahrump. My baby girl Rottie died and she was in so much pain she bite me. And this Dr. told me her cat did the same thing and understood what I was going thru and it has only been 3 days and my arm is cool and barely pink. And for a dog bite by a rottweiler that is some fancy work doc. Thank you read more

I went here because I was having problems breathing while we were staying here I was looking for a walk in clinic. You can walk in or make an appointment. I was lucky that we went at a slower time and got right in cause when we left the place was packed. The PA I saw was very knowledgeable and listened to me. I was diagnosed with viral bronchitis and given two breathing treatments. After that I was given some medicines and told if I was not better in a couple of days to come back. Two days later and I am feeling much better. I recommend this clinic very highly. I would go back if I ever needed to get medical assistance again. I had the need to visit the Pahrump Medical Offices Urgent Care facility today. I cannot overstate how tremendous the care was that I received. From the front desk helping me with the paperwork, the wonderful nurse that took all my vitals and information specific to my visit, to Dr. Marcie Cain. Each and every contact performed perfectly. I have to give this Medical Service Office a 5-STAR rating from me, been there many times since Health Partners-Urgent Care came to be in Pahrump. Have had every test you could have there, blood, x-ray's, ultra-sounds, and if they could not do the C/T Scans, with and with out contrast dye, MRI'S, 3-phase bone scans, they would send you to a nother office either on Postal Road, or down the street on Calvada Blvd., Never had a problem picking up my medical records, of any kind, paper reports tests and or on c/d disk's, and yes there are times you can walk right in like I did this last Saturday, and no one was there, and then there are times when you wait for a hour or two, and there is nothing you can do, because its full of patients. I go thru the same thing in Vegas with my Doctors, its always a good hour wait and longer, they just are treating people as good and fast as they can. This E.R Doctor Berndt took the time to explain my E.K.G. and what was going on with my heart, and which I could not think would ever happen, he sent my report to my G.P.,, Dr. Mighty, who called me at home on a Sunday, and told me he was getting some Heart Doctor to get involved with my case. I never in 18 years of being in Pahrump, never had any of my Vegas Doctors call me in person about a health issue, and or problem, never. This is after driveing thousands and thousands of miles over 18 years, and many-many doctors, and many-many tests at many radiology places, and hospitals for tests and surgerys. I had an general check-up appointment at this location with Dr. O'rourke listed for 10:30 a.m. I arrived with my mother at 10:24 a.m. When I went to sign in, about four people were around the Sonoma desk. I waited for them to sign in. A blind lady was ahead of me still, and she specifically asked for the time. The young, blonde desk lady confirmed to her that the time was 10:26. I signed in after, citing my 10:30 a.m. appointment, and listed my time of arrival dutifully at 10:26, though I was present sooner than that. I sat down then since the desk lady was still addressing the blind elderly lady. I waited, and about ten minutes later, around 10:36 is when the desk lady deigned to ask me about an I.D. and insurance card which I gave her. This is when she checked me in on the computer. At the time, I did not know this would be used against me. I was soon taken to a back room where I waited. And I waited. About an hour later the nurse lady stepped inside to tell me that the doctor will be in soon, AND that she would have been inside sooner had I, "not been late." I said, "excuse me?" Genuinely shocked. I was not late. And I told her this. I explained to her that the desk was busy when I arrived, though I still signed in before my appointment time. The nurse assistant then relented begrudgingly to say she'll ask the front desk about it. She obviously wasn't going to listen to me, which was frustrating. When she came back, she absolutely insisted that I had been late, and that the entire hour long wait was, "My fault." I couldn't believe that an employee was telling me, a patient, that they were literally punishing me for being late, except I wasn't late. The lady at the front desk signed me in late on the computer. This is what the assistant was going by, and when my mom realized this, she tried to nicely say that, "That's not fair," because it's not! All they would have to do to know we're telling the truth is to look at the sign in sheet paper! What is the paper even there for if the desk ladies do not look at it? The assistant nurse was so hostile and accusatory. She then interrupts my mom, who is being nice, and was not yelling at all, to say, "Oh if you're going to yell you can just reschedule." Mom was not yelling. She was a nurse assistant before. She knows what they go through. She was not yelling. We were completely mistreated by this desk segment and their awful employees, and we sincerely hope our review will warrant an investigation into the employees there to make them be nicer to patients because firstly the front desk lady doesn't know how to do her job and the assistant nurse with the brown, curly hair was so unprofessional! We weren't late, yet we were being treated as if we had been late. Like, look at the paper. Look at the camera's. Both show I was on time. I did my part. Why didn't they do theirs? This is so completely unacceptable. The employee's there need more sensitivity training, or something. A good reminder that kindness goes a long way. Or, you know, that yelling at the customer is not a positive approach? Something! I've never been more wronged and mistreated at a Healthcare Partners before as I have been today and I'm still very upset about it. read more
