I passed by two large porch swings as well as three or four large picnic tables under the front porch. The lobby houses lots of SC travel brochures, and typically there are a few employees available to answer questions. The restrooms were modern with nice tile floors and touchless soap dispensers and hand dryers. It was well maintained and clean. Just outside the restrooms, there were several soda and snack machines in case you want a snack. If you need a quick break, this is a great place to stop.

They have a three story parking deck (free!) and a ground level overflow lot. Both are accessible from South Boulevard. The platform is elevated, so you might want to consider taking the elevator or feel free to climb the stairs if you feel fit. There is a ticket vending machine on the platform, but you may want to use one of the two that are in the garage if there is a line. Not a whole lot of cover on the platform, so if it's wet or windy or cold, I'd suggest waiting in the garage until the train gets ready to leave.

The station is very accessible by road, as opposed to some of the ones closer to the city. The platform does have some covered waiting area and a full parking deck that contains a few hundred parking spaces. It is an island platform so the doors on the train will open on the left. There are audible and visual announcements of the next train in both directions. Automated ticket vending machines exist. Note that the Lynx system requires that you have a ticket in your possession - ticket inspectors do patrol the trains randomly and they do not accept "Oops." It was clean and very modern. They had displays placed around the center attempting to highlight some of the area's points of interest. Everything was tastefully done. Our first trip was to the Amalfi coast, never could I imagine a more wonderful experience. Every minute from arriving in Rome, to arriving in Positano for 8 nights, and returning to Rome was amazing. Our journey director was outstanding. Our fellow travelers were fabulous, a group of 12. We would explore the coast from this beautiful spot in Positano, each day setting out for adventure in a lovely Mercedes van. We were mostly in places where we saw few Americans, we ate at wonderful restaurants, and had an absolute blast. We had a wonderful blend of active and down time, we learned and saw so much, and laughed every day ! Amazing! The next trip was Florence, Cinque Terra, and Tuscany, amazing as well. The hotels and villa we stayed in were top notch, our journey director amazing, another perfect trip. This was a more active trip, but we enjoyed every second, we felt like we saw a very real side of Italy, not just tourist spots. The Time we spent on each spot was magical. The charming town of Lucca and the Villa in Tuscany were top of our list. We are not organized tour people, but the small group, perfectly curated Nada's trips are beyond. We could not recommend them more highly.

Upon…read morearrival, you are greeted with multiple signs in the very front, giving you any and all instructions you may need before a clerk comes out to greet you. First and foremost, their new Walk in day and time is on Wednesdays from 9-12pm as of 3/26/25 and they usually take no more than 12 people max depending on how many agents they have working that day. They do say people start lining up as early as 6am on those days, so it's up to your discretion. Upon arrival to my appointment, I was greeted by a clerk who came out to the door, and they made sure you had everything ready to go before they allowed inside to wait on a clerk. They will check the application, ID'S, signed and notorized forms, etc... If you are missing something, they will let you know and explain the corrections needed to be made. I unfortunately had to return three times for failure to fill out the form correctly (It was a lot and nerve-wracking on my part). I thought it would have to wait months again before I could schedule another appointment but the clerk Christa and another lady (failed to get her name) were both very pleasant and understanding and they saw me distraught and offered all the help and even squeezed me in the next day to come see the lady first thing next morning. They truly are very friendly. Unfortunately, they just have to follow the government rules and make sure everything is correct before submitting everything over and that's where a lot of people get frustrated, understandably so but the clerks will work with you and help you make same day, next day or even weekend appointments to return instead of just dismissing you and telling you to make appointment online again. You can also pay for money orders at this facility with a debit card unless you want to have those ready or a personal check. Overall, I had a great experience. Just make sure everything is filled out accordingly and all documentation is available, and it should all go smoothly. No less than 20 minutes from them checking over paperwork to you paying and leaving. They do go over all instructions afterward regarding the timing of passports, what to expect, and where to go to track your passport. I wouldn't mind coming back to this location if I need to.
