The windows are great, and about 8 months after install I had a tough time getting the windows open, as they are heavy and i am not that strong. Joe sent out his most experienced installer Randy and he fixed everything for me. He continued to work on it until I felt they were easy to open. I refer him to all of my friends or anyone needing windows or Lanai doors etc. Joe has been great! Even when I was a pain! LOL I highly recommend them, as they are the most honest, professional window company in SW FL. And, if you live in Florida, you know that is very hard to find! Longer story: Our house is 2000 sq feet there are a total of 10 standard windows, 3 small bay windows, and 6 sliding glass panels. Not a huge job. Total cost just over $50K. We signed August 2022 (before Hurricane Ian) and paid the deposit. Hadn't heard from them so 6 months later called to see the status. Turns out with a divorce in the company and turn over we were forgotten about and the windows weren't ordered because no one from Window Geeks contacted our HOA back. So now we were going to be backed up with Hurricane Ian delays. July 2023 windows arrive for install in Sept should take 4-5 days. First they showed up unannounced while we were out of town to install in July but returned in Sept. One installer showed up instead of two. One window was missing. After 1.5 weeks 9 windows installed but they decided they couldn't all of a sudden install the bay windows. One slider had been damaged so wouldn't open so they ordered a replacement. Took a month of back and forth to find out the house bracing was good and bay windows installed Oct 2023. During this time I called to say how unhappy we were and the manager called my wife to yell at her because I complained about him. Took them months to admit they broke the missing window when they first arrived but forgot to reorder it. Finally Feb 2024 the missing window was installed. Nov 2024 the damaged slider was replaced. I spoke with the owner about how outrageous our experience was and he offered a 10% discount. Which by the way was less than our original cost was going to be. When they forgot to order the windows originally standards changed so we had to purchase higher rated/more expensive windows. Also originally we were going to do 0% financing through the company. Nov 2024 that was no longer an option. So his 10% discount didn't even add up to the savings we were going to have. Absolute horrible experience.

I'm being generous by giving this company one star. It's been a miserable experience from the…read morestart. After receiving several quotes I went with this company because they told me they could recess the header in the soffits. That turned out to be false. I reluctantly moved forward with the project as hurricane season was fast approaching. They did the initial install on 08/25/25. It was horrible. They attempted to install them tight to the soffits and wound up bending the headers. I was then told that they would replace the covers. They came back several weeks later with new covers. The result was exactly the same. Several more weeks passed and they came back, removed and lowered the units. while this did correct the warping I now have a big ugly gap between the header and the soffits. Additionally one of the shutters is making a loud popping noise. The other item is the missing snap covers for the vertical supports. They have tried to install these twice without success. We're going on a year since I initially ordered these shutters. Support covers are still missing and I fear that the one shutter is going to soon fail. It's evident that the unit was warped during the initial install. One other item is that the final inspection was never completed per the city website. I've made countless phone calls to the company. They never return my calls. I've also sent numerous text messages to the owner Waylon. Again, he never responds. It's clear that he has no interest in customer satisfaction. It's been almost a year and the job is still not complete. Do yourself a favor and go with Storm Smart or anyone else.
