I slipped and fell on black ice, injuring my neck and shoulder. When I contacted Caldwell to verify if they accepted Medicare, I was able to schedule an appointment for the following week. My first impression was okay and the chiropractor seemed knowledgeable. After a brief "getting to know you" appointment, he proceeded to adjust my neck, shoulder and spine. When I returned home, I was in more pain than before I was adjusted. I immediately contacted my PCP who suggested that I try physical therapy. I did and it worked, I noticed immediate relief of my neck pain which improved with my on site and at home treatments. I guess my recent fall was more serious than I thought, however, chiropractic treatment can work for most, just not me at that time.

I had previously gone to both the ER and urgent care where I was referred to Dr. Ray by the urgent care doctor who had seen Dr. Ray for the same condition. Everyone's condition is different but after only 10-12 effective visits I was back to normal. I continue to refer Partners in Health to anyone looking for quality care related to chiropractic, acupuncture, dry-needling and massage therapy/physical therapy.

I have had a bad experience with Dr. Ray for the treatment I received for my car accident. He…read moreovercharged my insurance company for my appointments without ever providing me any statement or receipts for the treatment sessions for over 2 years, after which he claimed that I owed him more money, even though he had already received over triple the amount of what my treatment was going to cost - according to himself! At the start of my treatment, he had said that $2K would cover my treatment, then he found out that my insurance would cover up to $5K - which he charged them and got paid for. Then he claimed that I still owed him over $1,700. All in all, he got paid $6,800 for the same treatment that he had quoted me for $2K. He made me pay for my initial visit, and later I found out that he had charged my insurance for the same exact first visit. When I asked him about it, he agreed that he would reimburse me for that visit. However, to this day, with many back-and-forth emails, I have not received any payment. He just uses different excuses and plays games to avoid paying what he himself had agreed to. I do not trust Dr. Ray any longer. I will no longer get treatments from him nor will I refer anyone to him.
