I get my child checked in and I'm waiting near the check in window for her to be called back. The lady look at me funny and is like ok I got your child checked in. So as a busy woman I motion to the door and ask ok so I can go? Now it's not uncommon for me to run my errands or handle other business during these appointments... as soon as I make it to my destination I get a call. Apparently, all of a sudden a parent has to be present. Keep in mind my child is double digits not a toddler! Also, it's not like I'll get to be in the room while the service is done. So basically, the hygienist was uncomfortable doing her job unless I sat in the waiting room? I have no problem waiting for my child, my issue is where I asked the lady at the desk and she looked me dead in my face and told me I can go... only for me to fight through traffic, make it all the way to my destination just to get a call telling me to come back. So I had to fight my way back through traffic AGAIN just to have the appointment rescheduled damn near another month out. I'll have to schedule time to waste more time like I did with nothing to show for it! As a divorced mother of 4 with many different obligations and responsibilities I wasn't the least bit amused! I guess the random lady that came from nowhere must've been the hygienist. I'm literally fighting back tears trying to get my bearings and push on. This lady literally stops me in my tracks to say some crap and I could tell she was trying to be funny. "Sweet "in the manner of words but smug and crappy in intent. I mean my eyes are turning circles in my head trying leave silently and not cause a commotion. I didn't want my children witness me being distasteful. I really try to handle things with tact and grace. I guess she was trying to be funny after they all wasted my time and played in my face and over my time!!!! Like ma'am please let me go now. This isn't the time for you to try to be funny after you played a part in wasting my time, my gas, and costing me money (cause I had a full day of work). This isn't the first time it's been some bs with this place. (Joke's on me for giving the benefit of the doubt) Last time they cancelled my child's appointment on the Day of and gave me some bs excuse as to why they couldn't complete a service and they referred me to another office. The referral wasn't even a credible one cause it was for children with autism (again wasn't sure if they were trying to be funny or not). It was the only place they referred and I didn't even get a list... I'm not sure, maybe I've offended someone or something cause baby when I tell you these folks played! They played.

She has an excellent bedside manner, is knowledgeable, and has state-of-the-art equipment. She is very compassionate and makes herself available outside office hours as needed in the event you have a painful emergency and need her help. I went in for my 6 month checkup, and I asked if I owed anything and the receptionist stated I owed $130+ dollars. I explained my insurance covered all my cleanings and the receptionist stated they no longer take my insurance. I asked why they no take my BCBS and she stated she didn't know and I needed to pay for my cleaning. I asked why they didn't call me and let me know prior that they were out of network. She stated it is not required or policy to call patients and let them know in advance they are no longer in network and will have to pay out of pocket. If I wanted my teeth cleaned today, I needed to pay. I then ask if they were going to tell me prior to my cleaning that they no longer take my insurance. She said all bills are paid after service. If I was to not have asked, she would have not told me and I would be out of pocket for anything they would have done that day. I explained that I would not get my cleaning done there From this point forward and they should have called me as a courtesy and told me that my insurance was no longer taken by them. I would recommend going somewhere else for my dental care. If you are like me and my family that are on a fixed income, then you need a dental office that is reliable and professional. There are too many good and better dental offices around the area to go to a place where they don't put their clients first.

My dental hygienist and I have an understand that no eye contact shall be made during my appointments. I get "Mr. Nose"... If you know, you know... And I just breathe deep and look to the left. I wear glasses with a big prescription so I can't see during this whole experience at the dentist. Today's visit was a cleaning and impressions for a night guard. Totally appreciate the fact that the impression goop was strawberry flavored. "How does that factor in when you don't eat it?", you might ask. Well, at just the time you feel like your gag reflex is going to kick in, the scent of strawberry flew into Mr. Nose and it was amazing and familiar from the old days of the pediatric dental office I went to. There was a moment where the dental hygienist and I made contact during the impressions and both immediately looked away in fear of explosion. Took some deep breaths from Mr. Nose and I was able to stable myself from my odd fear. Other random discussions occurred about tongue placement which was humorous for sure. I'm looking forward to future days of flavored toothpaste, maybe some flavored Mr. Nose, and chaps stick (some of my suggestions/requests). Plus side for the kids, there is a toy chest and they do carry some flavored tooth paste. Ended up at check out to discuss some Star Wars and I got to say, today was a good day.

Not only that but the front desk tech told us we had to pay a $50 cancellation fee since we told her we don't want to pay out of pocket if we have insurance. A few months later, I was speaking with a friend who also carries the same health insurance and she stated she uses the same dentist office that told me they no longer accept my insurance. When I found out that I was lied to, for whatever reason, I contacted the office and told them I need a refund of the $50 fee we both paid because I was lied to about not accepting my insurance. The front desk tech spoke with the dentist (wife) and she stated I could use that money as a "credit". A credit!! Why would I come back to this office when they are obviously fraudulent and scamming people out of money. I would not recommend this office.

I have finally found my dentist after a 7-year search!! Matt Limbaugh is fantastic! I had both a…read morecleaning appt. and a dental implant which went quickly and smoothly. The implant was a perfect fit and I experienced zero issues. Dr. Limbaugh and his assistants actually listen and take the time to talk to me even though they are so busy. During the implant procedure if I experienced any pain they would address it immediately. They cared about my experience and comfort level. They did everything they could to make sure I felt as comfortable as I could be given the situation, lol! A doctor and his medical staff actually listening to a patient... a reasonable expectation to me, but this is not what I have experienced in the past with other dentists which were highly recommend it to me but we're absolutely horrible... so much so that now I immediately experience severe anxiety when visiting a dentist. Dr. Limbaugh understood and did all he could to make this experience a great one. I have finally found a dentist I can trust and feel comfortable with in fact I'm transferring my son's dental care from pediatric dentistry to Dr. Limbaugh. I told Karen my son needed medication and I was having trouble getting a doctor to see him for a refill, and she got out the phone book and started called pediatricians for me. WOW! I'll never forget that! I'm so impressed with the entire staff and highly recommend... and I'm hard to please and hold professionals to a high level of expectation. Dr. Durham's assistant, Claire was awesome! She was very thorough with explaining the steps of getting my braces on and she made me feel at ease throughout the process. Dr. Durham himself was very personable and efficient as he rotated to/from each patient. Out of 5 consultations in the area, Dr. Durham and his staff had me at "Hello". From the staff in the front end to the staff in the back end, the hospitality and professionalism remained consistent. After completing my consultation, I called back a day or two after to schedule my initial treatment. *They provide you with an electric toothbrush, t-shirt and some other goodies after completing your initial treatment. Also, there's no additional charge for adults to have clear braces. They also have a reward program that I'm SUPER stoked about. The program allows you accumulate points and redeem for gift cards.
