Working with The Robert Half Creative Group gave me the opportunity to land my DREAM JOB at…read moreStarbucks Coffee Company. As I read through some of the other reviews, most were positive but some expressed sour grapes. I think there are some misaligned expectations as to what a staffing agency is. A staffing agency makes their money by supplying companies with workers either on a temporary are permanent basis. Unless you are paying a staffing agency a fee to find you employment, then the staffing agency's fiduciary responsibility is to the company that is paying them. You need to understand and accept this if you are going to work with a staffing agency. Here's how you benefit from the relationship... Staffing agencies can give you the opportunity/connection to network, learn, and build your resume with world-class business organizations that are extremely challenging to get your foot in the door. Once in though, it's up to YOU to prove yourself and work toward finding your dream job. You can't walk in and expect your dream job to be handed to you. Competition for good jobs in good markets is tough. You have to come at it by assessing the situation for fit, figuring out where YOU can add value in ways that align with your career objectives, get along with ALL the players (putting your ego in check), make a plan, STAY POSITIVE, and execute on it. Oh and by the way, all that work might NOT lead to a permanent job. Don't expect that, if you do you will fail at staying positive. However, know that all the work you are doing is being added to your resume. The way you are handling the situation is being noted by all those you are working with. They will remember you, refer you, and be a reference for you. If played right, over time you will land your dream job. TCG's role was they gave me the connection to make it happen, and supported me with training and advice on handling situations as they arose. That's it, that's all any staffing agency can realistically do for you. Here at the end of my experience with TCG, I can say they've actually EXCEEDED my expectations for a staffing agency. TCG offered me much more career building benefits than other staffing agencies. Benefits such as continued industry training, portfolio showings, attendance to top business industry conferences, team building and network events. This is the stuff that helps you develop your career path. Lastly, they've made my transition to full employment with Starbucks very, very easy. If you are looking to get networking opportunities or work experience added to your resume from renowned organizations and companies, TCG has the connections to make it happen.

The best part? I didn't have to ask - things just...get done. Pepper's personal assistants aren't errand runners (though they do that, too). They're...magic household managers - they spend some time up front figuring out what's important to you, and boy it's worth it. They care about getting it right and are one step ahead. I had an excellent experience with Kara and Katherine at Pepper's Personal Assistants. Having never used their service or a personal assistant before (I'm one of those people who do it all myself, must be the OCD), I didn't know what to expect. When the transport service informed me that their delivery date had changed to an earlier arrival in Seattle than when I would be there to accept delivery of my car, I had not choice but to take a risk and reach out for help. I am quite grateful and glad I did just that. I cannot say enough complimentary comments about my experience starting the minute Kara answered my call, to having to easily Paypal money to Katherine to pay the driver (who kept changing the location of the drop off up to the last minute) to returning home and finding my car in the front of my house. Professional -- Trustworthy -- Affordable -- are just a few words I would use to describe my experience. I am an Office Manager at a nationwide law firm and trust and dependability are key to my work ethic and let's face it, are difficult to find in today's service-oriented businesses. However, Pepper's Personal Assistants have secured my return business with them without any doubt! They've earned my trust and that of my firms.

I read reviews about Creative Circle's Seattle office and was very optimistic. Within a week and a half of working with Kristi Seifert, I had landed an interview and a contract position with a small consulting/think tank firm in downtown Seattle. Five months later, that contract position turned into a full-time position. Ten months since I started, I was promoted to senior consultant. I couldn't be happier with the team I am working with, doing the design work I've always wanted to do, for a wonderful organization. I can't thank Kristi and her team enough for their help - especially over those initial five months. We did check-ins, she answered all my questions with patience and guidance; and I have never had a better experience with a staffing organization. I don't know how they managed to find such a good fit for me. I am so impressed and thrilled. Things seemed to fall in place at the right time. Thank you, Kristi, for all your amazing work. You and your team are doing life-changing work. Side note: I participated in a volunteer design program with AIGA over the summer and Creative Circle was one of the sponsors! This is a long overdue review for Teresa. In short, yes, absolutely, if you're feeling burned out,…read moreconfused, and unhappy about your job, please talk to her! I found Theresa randomly from an event on Yelp and I am glad I did. Last year, I paid around $800 for her Career Fulfillment Program with the Career Clarity Course. It looks like she has since revamped this program and doubled the price and added more coaching sessions--probably due to inflation and the current job market--but I would still recommend her services hands down with no reservation. For comparison, I had ran into a random internet career/life coach on social media a few months prior and that coach wanted to charge me $10,000 to help me find a new career in a completely different industry, supposedly without having to sacrifice pay. That felt unrealistic and scammy. Compared to scammy social media coach, Teresa's prices are reasonable and a great value and her program delivers results. Personally, I did not need help from Teresa with resume writing or interviewing. I was just feeling confused about whether my current career path was right for me and needed direction. I was considering a career change and was ready to throw away the career I had worked on for the past 8 years because I was so unhappy at my job. I felt so lost. Teresa's Career Clarity Course helped me do some soul searching and gave me areas to look into to figure out where my strengths, passions, and job priorities were. Finishing her course gave me a sense of direction and confidence for the next steps to take to find a fulfilling career. During the course, I was exploring new careers such as food vlogger/Youtuber, an entrepreneur owning a boba shop, or maybe go back to school to become a psychologist. Teresa gave me advice on how to research what these careers would look like or how to try them out without throwing away my current career and taking too long to figure it out. At the end, I realized I loved making money too much. While I believed I would succeed in a new career, it would take too much time to completely start over, so I was going to stay in my current field in tech. However, getting the idea from the personality test she had me take, I was able to do some research on Reddit and found a more niche role in my industry that was more suited for people with my exact personality type. I felt excited to try out this new role, because at least 3 others with my personality type, reported in Reddit forums that they loved it, so it gave me hope. The program was only supposed to last 3 months but as I was doing the program, my mental health got progressively worse from burn out at the dead end job. I eventually had to quit because I was so unwell and couldn't work anymore even after taking medical leave. Teresa graciously extended my program access for another 2 months free of charge and she and I met for one final coaching session where she gave me advice on how I could sell my translatable skills to pivot into this new role. Pivoting into a new but related role was a difficult task given the recent competitive job market and I got rejected a bunch of times at various stages, but I was on a mission to make sure I did not end up in a similar role as my last job and insisted on it after completing Teresa's program. It took 4 months for me to recover mentally and to find my current job but I am pleased to say I ended up at an excellent company with the exact role I was going for after some patience, perseverance, and luck. I've been at this new job for over a month now and I am very happy and I actually wake up looking forward to work! This rarely happened in the last 8 years. In addition to finding out a career direction, I also found out from the program that one of my passions was "creating and sharing experiences together". I have since used that discovery to encourage myself to start various social groups centered around my hobbies and have made new friends from it. I shared a story about creating experiences during my job interview and it played a part in my getting hired because the joy from following my passions really showed. I demonstrated the best parts of my personality and it just so happened to align with the company's cultural values. Teresa's program is life changing and it improved my life both personally and professionally. I am amazed at how insightful and intuitive she is. I really think she's found her tailor-made career for herself because career coaching is what she's meant to do. I am sure Teresa can help you, too!

Instead of apologizing, they tried to blame. This partime, they placed me with Process Technology. Two days in, I was messaging my recruiter begging to be placed somewhere else. This place was and still is a factory of nothing but OSHA, I ended up hurting my right shoulder and was denied medical. My recruiter kept saying they had no jobs, yet was sending me job notifications asking me if I knew anyone who was looking to be placed. I said, me. He ignored. I also had to hound them for weeks to fix my pay. I then had to text them to tell them I was being harassed at the job by a coworker because Process Technology was not doing anything. I have all those conversations recorded. I continued to ask for a different placement constantly. I was actively looking for a new job, but most places use temp agencies. I ended up hurting my right shoulder again doing the same job that I had begged to be put elsewhere. I was not allowed in HR because you are only allowed after work hours and have to clock out. I need to be somewhere at 3 every day. Express Professionals is responsible for paying for my treatments, but they are not filling the proper paperwork. I have asked thru numerous texts for the number to contact the insurance and my claim number. Express Professionals, or shall I say the owner is refusing to help me get the care I need. Not to mention, the owner has a photography studio and asked me if I had a senior daughter who needs her pictures done. Why ask for a specific sex? That is predatory. The doctor and PT that I see believe I have a tear in my rotary cuff, but they can't properly treat me until they get an MRI. But Jim, the site owner of the Mentor location, is not corporating.
