However, it was just a Chinese restaurant back when, and even then it was really good. I assume the access to good meats and fowl help. I noticed the change in ownership, but figured try it out. Bar is really small (sorry no pic), but restaurant decent size. Turns out they've migrated from Chinese to Thai and Japanese. I ordered both the Sushi (spicy tuna roll) and spicy crispy duck curry. The duck was much better than I expected, but only because I am comparing to the places in my home town. Not to mention, it came out quickly. The sushi, well, was as good as you expect decent Sushi to be. For $40 including a beer, this was really a decent dinner meal, for two, and would recommend to anyone staying in Arabella park area, craving some good Thai and Sushi. This place has it.

This place was around the corner, so we decided to try it. The lady was helpful and service was speedy for our takeout meals. The restaurant looked nice and it had a few dining in. I got prawns in red curry, hubby got some pho, and my daughter got sweet and sour duck. All were good with the curry and duck being top-notch entrees. I especially liked the sauce on the sweet and sour because it was like the one my Mom used to make, not cloying and thick like most restaurants serve. We were sad that we didn't discover this place until our last evening. We definitely would have eaten there again. It was the best food we had in Germany!

They didn't seem busy and the host said I should have a reservation, but sat me anyways. I was able to sit at the bar and talk to the bar tender. The cocktail menu was extensive and creative. He did a great job providing suggestions and guiding me through the food and drink menu. There card machine was down that eveing, so it was cash only. I didn't learn this until the end of the meal. I had the crispy duck bar bun, and another dish with fried beef and sweet potatoes. It was all cooked well and delicious, with great aesthetic presentation.
