Ive now come upon a new favorite; the Berline Weisse. Light color, tart, complex fruity palate and still a good punch of abv. The Briem 1809 Berliner Weisse is a great example of this beer in a bery traditional style. Flavorful and refreshing, great by itself and even better with salty fatty foods.

The sausages were thinly sliced paired with a crispy, tangy vinaigrette which was refreshing especially in a hot summer day. The scallions and red onions added another level of flavor and texture. For main, I ordered their braised pork belly and was pleasantly surprised. Th meat was tender, skin was still crispy and the sauce was hearty yet not too salty. My kids tried their schnitzel and they enjoyed it. However, my husband ordered one of their beef dish and I was told it was dry and salty. I honestly would recommended to just stick with pork when in Germany/Austria and stay away from beef because ever beef dishes we've tried were not good.
