Went into shop for a fill, told to pick color, was called to desk, tech started working on nails, lady came in asking for eyebrow wax, she was told to go back, I was told be back 2mins, NEVER has an eyebrow wax taken 2mins. While tech was back giving wax, another lady walked in and stated she just got her nails done yesterday and one broke, she was told to sit next to me, tech came back to front , sat with lady with broken nail and started helping her, leaving me with one hand filled, tech never looked at me,, 25 mins. later sat in front of me like NOTHING transpired,, finally said OK, now to work on other hand. Words cannot express how livid I was,, she started to talk and I told her to keep quiet and finish the job because I was ready to go. So a 30-40 min service turned into a 1hr and 10min task. I really feel like I got robbed. I'm new to the area and my nail tech is all the way in Dunedin, but I would've been better off making the hour and 15 minute drive to her. They charged me $115 for a FILL-IN and a basic ass pedicure.. I absolutely hate the shape. My nail tech is obviously super reasonable because if these are the going rates for mediocre work (at best) then I'll gladly drive the hour and change next time. This was a total rip off.. Do not recommend. For some reason it wasn't letting me post a picture but believe me when I tell you, these are not short almonds and no way in hell was this worth $125. I shouldn't have even left a tip but I liked the guy that filled my nails. I could have gotten 2 fill ins WITH designs and gems and whatever else I wanted PLUS given my nail tech a fat tip for $125. And she does REALLY good nail art. I got a BASIC pedicure which the menu said was $20 and somehow I still got charged $40 for it? Where did that other $20 come from?! How does that even make sense? $60 for the full, $20 for the basic pedicure and I'll give them the $15 for French tip... how is that $115? I honestly feel like I got my head slapped. My husband even said he would have told them to take them off because there's no way he would've paid for this. I understand why the place was empty. EDIT: I literally want my money back for these. I will be calling my bank and disputing this charge. I always have my nails done really nice, and my girl friends at work even made fun of me for these. They said the shape looks like uncircumcised p*n*s nails These should have been $30 at BEST. I will say that the pedicure wasn't so bad. Surprisingly, they haven't chipped off yet. The nails, on the other hand, are a whole mess! They are all different shapes, they're chipped, they're bubbled/curved and they look like Hell. I would never step foot in Viva nails in Zephyrhills ever again. This is a disgrace you go in for a pedicure and a manicure. You get your eyebrows done and get eyelash clusters and he refused to reimburse me for adding too much glue to my eyelashes and all you can hear is the crunchiness I couldn't even keep my eyes open long enough. I told him this before I left. He told me that I needed to wait for the group to dry after it dryed completely. I went back within an hour. and I told them to take them off because I could not see, and my eye was irritated, and he was very upset and did not even bother to refund me. I called ahead to make sure they had time for me, they told me they did but it was still nearly a 20 minute wait -- a lot of time wasted on a day I have a flight out and many other things to do. I spent about 3 minutes carefully picking my color for my important week ahead, and the woman who checked me in asked for the color I picked, commented on it, and took the nail fan from me. Apparently she took no note of it because after my long wait, the woman who was doing my nails had no information on the color, I couldn't find the fan I picked from, I picked another color quickly and ended up really not liking it -- did not complain on this, but frustrating that they didn't note it when they first asked me. Linda did my nails and was the coldest, shortest, rudest nail tech I've ever had. As I said, I'm in a rush because I have a flight today and I told them I was in a rush. She still reacted very poorly when I opted for the basic pedicure instead of their costlier ones with long massages -- if I hadn't waited 20 minutes maybe I could have spared time for a leg massage. Finally, poor hygiene. I agree with other reviews that say it seems they don't sterilize their tools. Also, when I was finally seated after the wait, the table I was told to sit at had a dirty towel laid out with another customers' nail clippings and filings in it. Like someone said. If I could give them no stars I would give them just that. I had a pedicure from Nancy. It was ok. Then she began doing my full acrylic set for a French manicure. Well she made them flat on top and extremely wide. They looked like fans. I had made an appointment. Was the first one there on a Sunday morning. Then after Nancy put nails on me the manager guy Alex was going to finish my nails. It took him 10 mins to come finish my nails. Of course I started complaining because why should I have to wait. I wasn't a walk in. Finish my nails. Then he started doing my nails. His name as I believe Alex. He filed my nails. And thought I'd be happy with them. I said they were too wide and needed to be filed and sculptured to look like natural nails. He began to file my nails aggressively. Very upset that I called him and Nancy out. All I can say is my nails look like a 5 year old did them. I would never step foot in there again. The worse place I have ever been to. I don't even think they sterilize their tools. Watch out and go elsewhere. Beware. They truly suck! Dirty and disgusting. Not a fan. May call the health dept to inspect. read more

I had a wonderful woman do my nails. Had an awesome experience and then I looked down. My nails look like globs of paint sitting on my fingers. They aren't buffered down, you can see the grooves in the shadows of the nails. I told her I hadn't gotten them done in years and didn't know what to expect. Well...they look like jelly beans and I feel like a beautiful dinosaur with a manicure. So service ruled...product....no very impressed. Would not really recommend this place. I had a full set on and said I wanted regular and not Gel. I also wanted my nails short but the lady who did my nails barely did go short and every time I would ask to go shorter she would just fight me every which way and kept barely filing down my nail until I just ended up accepting it because I just didn't want to fight about it anymore. And she ended up putting Gel on me when I did not say I wanted it in the first place. Also one of my nails is crooked! Needless to say I was not happy with the lady I think her name is Helen. Getting a pedicure here is a okay time when they also offer you a drink but they try to add more money very sneakingly at the end when you go pay. My advice? I got a shellac pedicure from Jackie . She was very nice and it's been months since I've gotten my toes done so lord knows they needed some TLC . She did cut one of my big toe nails uneven and it's a eye sore for me to look at but probably isn't noticeable for other people . It was $45 dollar for just shellac pedicure which is a little steeper than I'm use to . They do have lots of colors to choose from however and they do use the plastic liners for the soak baths which I loved . I didn't see that the utensils were pre packaged and normally I wouldn't get my nails done at a place that doesn't have the prepackaged ones but my sister wanted acrylic and this was the closest place that did acrylic. If your looking for a last resort nail place this would be a good place, I called as soon as they opened for our appointments and they were available and started as soon as we walked in . Not the best place if they are busy. My toe nails are all crooked and he overpainted some toes where there is polish on my skin. I did change my mind on wanting my nails done last minute but stressed I was ok waiting because I know it was inconvenient for me to change my mind. They sat me down right away and made multiple comments about me "changing my mind". The same guy that did my pedicure started on my dip manicure and completely botched it. He rushed so much that he filed my skin and not even most of my nails. My dip is super bumpy and uneven. After he finished one hand, the manager guy took over and tried to do the last step on my nails. I tried speaking up and telling him that the other guy wasn't done and I still needed the final clear dip. He called the guy over and they spoke (not sure what was said) but he then argued with me that he had one more layer of dip left and then the final coat. I agreed because at this point my fingers were so raw from being filed that I was just ready to go. My fiance already paid for all of our services so I couldn't just leave. The manager guy then did another round of the dip color but then didn't even do the final steps. My nails have hair and lent in them from them rushing so bad and my right hand is basically see through and you can see right through the dip on most nails. This same hand is also super rough and is not near as smooth as the other hand. I understand that I changed my mind but I stressed that I was more than willing to wait. My two services were almost $100 and I left completely unhappy and was basically treated like an idiot when I tried to speak up. Would rate 0 stars if I could. I came with my mother and both the ladies who did our nails were extremely lazy and rude. They also cut my moms hand extremely bad, it did not stop bleeding and we had to change our plans after and go home because the cut was so bad. We both got French tip on our feet, and they just used a clear polish then put a white tip. Extremely lazy, they should've put a nude/pink coat. For my acrylic nails, I asked for white base with chrome. She gave me a clear base. When I told her she needed to do a white base (I could see my real nail underneath and it looked dirty and not anything like the picture I showed her) she was extremely argumentative and told me a white base wouldn't work. I argued back and ended up getting the color I wanted. After this obnoxious FOUR HOUR LONG experience, she charged us TWO HUNDRED dollars for 2 pedicures and 2 short acrylic nails. She did not break down the prices at all, and the fact that it was TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS even, proves that she pulled that number out of thin air because she was mad that I made her redo my nails and do them the right way. NEVER COME HERE unless you want to get scammed, get an infection, and waste 4 hours. read more
