I've been going here for around 8 years. Jana is fantastic. You won't find anyone better for hair color. She knows exactly what to do. I have red hair which isn't easy to come out looking natural but she does it and it lasts. She also does my eyelash extensions and I get compliments all the time. LOVE them! My mom goes there and my daughter so we have three generations that go there. So she has seen us through illnesses, hair thinning and my child going through adolescence. I took my niece to get a straightening treatment on her hair January 12, 2017. The treatment was a couple of hours long which wasn't a problem as they had Christian music playing so it was very calming there. I paid a total of $130 for the treatment because when I got there they told me to read the fine print that with longer hair it would be at least an extra $30. I asked them to cut at least 4 inches of her hair off to make sure that it would not be more than the extra $30. The hair stylist was a young girl who was very nice. She told my niece to make sure she uses a sulfate free shampoo. I thanked her and gave her a $40 tip. Within 3 weeks, my niece's hair was frizzy and unmanageable. I called the spa today and spoke to a lady that works there. I explained my problem to her and told her it was a groupon. She explained to me that a treatment sometimes has to be done a couple of times before it takes effect. She talked about hair texture, shampoos used (that people don't buy their shampoo cuz it's expensive). Never once did she say to bring her in that she would look at it. I had to tell her that I wanted to bring my niece in so she could look at the hair and see what I was talking about. She basically said "no redoes". This is very disappointing. Even if I was to be charged half the money to redo it, that would have been fair. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this business. read more

Her recommended blended services made sense, have been very reasonably priced, and the results have been superb! I have been a few times now. I have received lots of positive comments about my hair. It is smoother and the color and highlights look wonderful. Jana focuses on giving her customers efficient and effective results. She is not chatty. A-ok with me! Because what she IS: an experienced total professional. I have never trusted a hairdresser to do and deliver consistent service and results like this. I encourage picky people to try Jana! I got Jana to do a 30 minute facial for me ($35) and it was great. She was extremely nice and professional. She led me to a room that looked very clean and played some soothing music which made the experience really relaxing. On 6/21/2017 I took my daughter to this salon, and she asked for "curls". After the perm processed, she had a minimal wave. We told the hair stylist that we were not happy with the results. She told us to wait a couple days to see what we think then. My daughter is getting ready to go to college, and is very upset about what her hair looks like. My daughter states she looks like a wet dog. I called the hair dresser that evening and told her we were not happy. he said she could not help us. i asked her if she would do it over with the correct size rods.( I believe that the best technique was not used; after consulting with 2 other hair dressers). After we paid 160$, we did not get what we paid for, I asked if she would compensate us for not doing the job correctly. She said she would take 20% off the next visit. I would have expected that she would either refund us for the service that was already done, or do it correctly at her cost. I would even agree to pay for the product used, as long as she did it correctly after her to have her do it right, as soon as her "hair" was ready for another treatment. She did not respond to me. She did not answer the phone, she did not respond to the voicemail, and she/or the owners did not respond to an email that was sent. I have been told, by legal consult, that she did not provide the service that we paid for, and that is equal to "malpractice". I was told that i could put a claim in to her professional license, and/or personal insurance. I only want what we paid for, but i cant even get them to respond. read more

I went to this salon with a picture of the haircut I wanted. It was the same style a friend of mine had. The manager tried telling me it was an angled bob that I wanted. I told her that that's not what I wanted. She also kept commenting on how I shouldn't get my hair cut so short because of how pretty it was. It made me feel very uncomfortable. After I got it cut, she didn't bother styling it. I was leaving for a camp the next day for a month, and it was a last minute haircut with this salon since my usual one was booked. I have to part my hair a certain way and be very careful, otherwise it's obvious that the cut was messy. I called them when I got back from the camp and complained to the manager who cut my hair. She basically told me she gave me what I asked for, an angled bob. I didn't ask for that...and she didn't even give me an angled bob anyways. Terrible customer service, not a relaxing environment, and it seemed like they were in a rush with my haircut. read more
