Probably the BEST place to get a pedicure! I literally come all the way from Flowery Branch just to get my toes done here because they're THAT good. My toes are never crooked, never cut too short and there's never gel left all over my skin like I've experienced at other places, especially American Nail. I'm also extremely picky about my nails. I normally cut my own nails at home because I feel like other places can never get them quite right. But Angel's Nails gets them PERFECT every single time. I just saw the businesse's response. All I can say is that they obviously did not understand or carefully read my review before they responded. Which shows how they do not communicate well. Btw, I see that they updated their hours in Yelp after my appointment. I guess the person responding did not want to admit they had the wrong hours online. Hence another reason for my discomfort with dealing with them again. ***** Dissapointed that I was charged more for my SNS manicure this time than the previous time here. I asked for the same nail tip shape that I came in with, which another technician in the salon had done the previous time for $45. They charged me more , so I asked why I was being charged more. I was told that it was the shape. The new technician said mine was more "rounded" than what is normal for them, "Almost almond shape". Her response did not make any sense since almond shape is more pointed at the tip and she left them less pointed than I came in with. So less like almond shape. I showed her my nails again, and I said these are not almond shape at all. They are oval/rounded on the tip only. I have never paid extra for a rounded tip or square tip with rounded edges anywhere in the 15 years that I have been getting SNS. Almond tip is typically more, which I did not get. I have added a photo of my nails. She never mentioned there would be an extra charge at any time either. When I explained what I wanted, I mentioned that I do not like my nails filed too much on the sides of the tip bc when they are narrow, they wil break or split, so prefer a rounded shape on the tip. That is why I do not get almond shape. I told her the shape I came in was fine. I actually think she charged me more bc she had to stay past 7:30. She mentioned they don't accept appointments after 6:30.I had called around 6:15 and they told me to come in. When I came in she was a bit cold, but warmed up with conversation, and was sweet. I told her I was surprised that she was telling me they close at 7:30 bc online it showed 8:00. She said no, we close at 7:30. Funny enough another customer came in after me and they told her they were closing, and she said the same thing that I had said. She was surprised bc when she had checked, it said they were open till 8:00. What I paid was not much more money, but I think honesty and transparency in business and charges is important. I think you need to tell clients of any upcharges and if you accept what you consider a late appointment, you should not penalize the client or at least tell them you will charge them more bc of it. Although that still did not apply to me bc I was there a few minutes before 6:30 (their admitted cut-off time) anyway. I did not want to argue, so I paid, but I really should not have. When it comes to the service. The SNS was ok. Thicker than I normally like. I told her I like it natural looking, but could do a tad thicker. She also did not file the SNS near the cuticle enough, so there is a bump and not a gradual increase of product from the cuticle on, which makes it look less natural. She also did not file the edges of the nail bed enough or apply the product all the way to the edge, so some are a bit rough on the edges or not covered completely. Several nail tips had a pretty big bump and then an indention of product on the end. If you know SNS, you know there is no way I did that and it was done while applying. I have added a photo of that. It is a shame bc I thought I had found a place to frequent after my first visit. read more

After doing horrible nails and writing a review to express how horrible the service was. They offered to "fix" the nails. If your definition of fixing is somehow finding a way to mess something already botched as before then I suggest you study the dictionary. Also, do all your employees flash insults after messing up to make themselves feel better or is that just you the owner Hu? My mom came in to get her nails done "fixed" after the abomination you guys did and you somehow managed to make it worse. You wanted me to take my review down in trade of fixing her nails which is highly viewed against. I also noticed after my review before you wanted it taken down there were magically a bunch of good reviews. Ironic isn't it? And you were not nice to my mom and after her service you told her, "don't eat too much for thanksgiving." Well Hu I think you shouldn't open a nail business when you can't do good nails. If you can't handle criticism for your tacky nails then maybe you shouldn't be in charge ESPECIALLY if you're going to insult them about their weight after you didn't give them what they asked for not once but twice. Also you should take your own advice and start your own diet for thanksgiving which should start with swallowing your pride. Me and my mom will never give you our business again and don't try to reach out to her either we are done. You gave me a bad service and attitude multiple times and I finally gave up and now my mom. And this review I will not be taking down but I know you'll find a way to after taking my initial one down because you can't handle the truth. After moving up to Dawsonville, Georgia, in 2019 I started to explore my surroundings and found this little nail salon just up the street from my home. The technicians that work there are always friendly, and do a great job on both manicures and pedicures. The first thing that struck me was that the smell of the salon was not chemical. I have walked into many nail salons and have choked on the chemical smell of acrylic nails. But this place is very airy, and has a nice quiet atmosphere. I got my nails done for the first time this year, I paid $85 just for my nails to start lifting and coming off not even a week later.

Went in with my sister, I got a pedicure while she wanted a manicure. They started on me right away but my sister sat in a chair for about an hour. Then I asked the staff when someone would start on her, that's when someone started on another customer that came in about half an hour after us. At that point, we didn't want to wait. Usually this place is great but today they fell short. They should have a way to determine which customer got her first instead of making people wait. As for my pedicure, the lady kept cutting me and it burnt while she was putting products on me. She also kept putting stones, towels and oils on me, that were way too hot. read more

I tried this salon out since I was going to outlets. Very disappointed. The lady did "a hot oil" massage whereas I asked for hot stone. I only noticed something was off when she started painting my toes. But considering I'd never been to this shop, I figured maybe she's doing it differently. However, she starts pulling my pant legs down and when I told her I wanted the hot stone, she wanted to charge me more, saying I asked for hot oil. I said no ma'am I didn't. Where is your menu. She never grabbed it and just took $5 off my bill. I generally don't write reviews, but because I am one that reads reviews before trying a new salon, I figured I would share my experience. Phenomenal work! I cannot believe how much I love my nails now, this is definitely the place to go! I went in with my nails in the worst shape you've ever seen, terrible cuticles to boot, and they worked miracles. I tried SNS for the first time, and this is definitely the way to go. Feels better and holds up better than the gel I was used to back in the day. I was impressed with how fast it was too, and almost no drying time at all. The only thing is I came in with no polish expecting a soak and my cuticles to be cut. Just an over all clean prep before polish was applied. I did not receive that even when ask what I wanted done.
