    Chile relleno

Meh. This is what $20 (10% tip) will get you - for the tiniest portions ever. Rice and beans aren't that expensive at all, at least add even a decent amount. Why did I tip for this to go? I'll maybe back because of the organic angle, but for a burrito that's half the price and actually has more of everything that's on my plate now. Maybe.

Will definitely be back. Super cute spot with bomb food, quick service, friendly people, and decent prices!

Not everything on the menu is organic but everything is affordable and I remember feeling very satisfied after wolfing down a torta for under $6. Granted I was still hungry after that but for a single entree, it's a great dish to order (size, price, and of course: taste). No complimentary chips and salsa, sadly but there is no need for it because the food came out extremely fast. A water dispenser is available by the counter next to the utensils. You seat yourself after ordering/paying.. when your food is ready, it is served to you at your table piping hot. My Bistec Torta was delicious. Everything was good; from the bread, lettuce, tomatoes, beef, and fresh avocado made my dinner quite epic. And what I love is the price. Gavin had the cheese quesadilla which was slightly greasy and my daughter had the chicken and rice kid's burrito. I appreciate the guy at the counter pointing me to the kid's menu. I originally was ordering from the billboard menu (regular stuff). Though a buck or two was saved but that little can help me so much in the long run. The guys at the counter was friendly. They both smiled and laughed when they saw me pull out my phone to take pictures. What can I say? I'm a Yelper! Awesome dinner. Thanks to Craig for treating the kids and I that evening. I would love to come back sometime to try something else or maybe pick a different torta. I love tortas. Tortas FTW!

Didn't know what to expect from Vivas. It was a chance encounter fueled by hunger pangs and long lines at the Rio Theater next door. What do you know? Vivas is organic. Hmm...no just oganic but they have an awesomely decorated restaurant. What?! A fountain in the middle of it all? Classy! Organic and tasty burrito. It wasn't just because we were hungry. The burrito was really g.o.o.d! Awesome find, helpful staff is not bad either.

Delicious organic Mexican food, with friendly service. Love the airy and sunlit dining room during the day (haven't had dinner yet).

You have to find parking maybe blocks away and walk here but it is a very good place. Also tons of offerings for food. Do not let your eyes order for you because their super taco is massive. I thought the super taco just meant it was a regular street taco with more filling inside but I was severely mistaken. It is an actual burrito size tortilla. I ordered an al pastor taco that came with a lot of lettuce. I ate it, and the next day I got extremely sick with what felt like the worst food poisoning I've ever experienced. It was bad enough that it honestly traumatized me from eating Mexican food altogether. And just to give you an idea of how bad the experience was--I love Mexican food, and I haven't eaten it at all since then. It took me months to even feel comfortable enough to leave this review. I really liked this place before, so I'm not saying this lightly. If you decide to go, I personally would avoid the al pastor tacos and anything that comes with their lettuce. I haven't gone back since.

Guests will enjoy a…read moreself-serve taco bar with 4 salsas, fresh and picked vegetables along with some spicy jalapeños and onions you don't regularly see, and warm and salty self-serve tortillas. I sure did! Today, I tried the Baja Fish Taco in addition to a super burrito. Way too much more food for me, so I figured I'd start with the fish taco since they don't travel as well. At almost $8, I thought the taco was pricy until I saw it. The fish filet is so large you can barely close the taco at all! It ate much more like a tostada in that sense, the large fish been exaggerated by the generous portions of cabbage, creamy guacamole, and the spicy salsa. The fish was crispy, abundant, and well-seasoned and perfectly complemented by the supplied toppings. There were a few opportunities where toppings had gotten knocked off and there was space to add some of their other sauces, but this is a rare taqueria item I think was perfectly balanced on its own. I'd come back just for this. I still enjoyed, but was a little torn on the super burrito I got. I got a super carnitas burrito. The additional super toppings: guacamole, cheese, sour cream, and pico all added freshness or creaminess that helped add flavor and cut down on the richness of the meat. To their credit, there was LOTS of carnitas but in my opinion they were too salty and they took away from the overall balance of the burrito, particularly in meat-heavy bites. This was somewhat remedied by adding their creamy avocado salsa, their especially tangy tomatillo salsa, or getting a bite with some of the super toppings, but the carnitas were overall disappointing. But, this wasn't my first time here! Last time I was here I had an al pastor super burrito and the balance worked much better. That burrito on its own is a safe 4 stars. Combined with the Baja fish taco and the chips and salsas/toppings? That's an easy 5 stars for my favorite Mexican food in Santa Cruz. If you're still on the fence, try the asada super burrito or stick to the fish taco and you'll be VERY impressed.

Customer service was quick and friendly. I had the regular Al pastor burrito. It was good and even better when I added a touch of salt and lemon juice. The pastor was well cooked, crispy yet tender with rice and beans. The chili verde burrito was good too and had more flavor than the al pastor. The verde salsa tasted fresh with a touch of spice. It was my favorite. The jamaica tasted a bit weak but it was the end of the night. Los Primos is a solid 3 with perhaps a 4 rating when I try more menu items. I'd definitely hit up Los Primos again.
